-new Lancher Lollipop
-Android 5.0.1 installed (unofficial)
-new keyboard
-new status bar
-new applications (music, gallery, camera, etc ...)
-Improved wifi, internet browsing, resolution camera, video, streaming video
-Resolution images improved to 100%
-speed system improved by 15%
-Improved sleep mode
-best battery life
-Wireless boosted by 10%
-Improved scan wifi
-new home screen lollipop
- and much more...
------PLEASE READ ALL!!!------
as already I mentioned in my previous post this ROM will install Android 5.0.1 lollipop on our phone. The ROM based on Android 4.1.2 system, in fact, are the main features of andorid 4.1.2, but in practice, and a kind of amalgamation of andorid jelly beans and lollipop.
one of the first features found when you go to turn on the phone and the Manu phone unlock style andorid jelly beans but for practicality and speed are those of Android lollipop. another thing you notice, and the reaction of the system when you go to open an application. then there are other things that make this a unique ROM, that is all based on CyanogenMod 10 and 12 and of course a version modified by me personally and by other developers (Zeta99 and Unity Team).
Now I show you a list of all the new features:
-speed battery charge increased by 30%, comparable "almost" to that of the Samsung Galaxy S6;
-Stability system increased by 10%;
-the improvement of the streaming video and the reaction of the system;
-possibility to increase the RAM phone attraverso swaps that do not create any problems or crash the system;
-possibility to download almost all apps except those that are officially Android lollipop;
-new app including Xposed modules that enhance both the graphics and the phone is its performance;
-all phone app have been partially modified to make it so it is not wasted too much RAM or battery;
-autonomy battery stable (however advise you not straining too much, otherwise it leads to serious problems for both the battery and the phone is);
-and many other new features ...
BUT I'M SORRY tell you, but I HAD PROMISED THAT THE 3D IN A POST PAST ARE NOT ABLE TO PUT IT, WHY PHONE FIRST IS ABLE TO Protect it BUT THEN AFTER A FEW SECONDS WENT IN CRASH AND THEN I WAS FORCED TO REMOVE it, but never say never, in fact it may be that in a future update of the phone to be able to insert, without creating crash the phone. However, I can announce that soon will come two new updates:
-one that will bring Android 5.0.2, with some improvements and fixes minor bugs;
-one that will bring Android 6.0 Marshmallow, with major changes to most of the system is perhaps our dear beloved 3D!!!
the installation file weighs about 450 mb so I recommend you also leave free 1 GB to make room also backup and emergency system otherwise do my (recommended version 4.2.2 pacman).
But now I'll explain how to install the ROM on your LG-P920:
-for the first thing we connect our phone via USB cable to our PC;
-So We copy the RAR ROM Lolli 5.0.1.rar files in the main memory of the phone where we have the backup folder clockworkmod (if there is you then do this: press the power button + volume button upwards , the phone will reboot into recovery mode and you have a couple of options available to us we need backup and restore, let's go on with the volume keys and confirming with the power button, and go to select up and he will make us a backup version and all files, settings, etc ... we have in the phone, you now have the backup folder). "To download clockworkmod clockworkmod.apk write on the internet and download the apk file on your phone."
-after clockworkmod downloaded on our phone we turn off our phone is press the power button + volume button upwards, the phone will reboot into recovery mode and you have a couple of options, we need to us "wipe cache partition "and" wipe data / factory reset ".
-Let's go first to wipe cache partition and run it and after aniamo to wipe data / factory reset and run it.
-Now go to "backup and restore" with the volume keys and confirming with the power button, and then select Restore and select ROM Lolli 5.0.1.rar
- After confirming with the power button the phone will install the package there, waiting lob install the package and now we will have our phone with Android 5.0.1 (unofficial) installed
CAUTION:
1. do not install the "gapps.rar" files because the applications we need are already in the system rar files.
2. Before installing the system, make a backup "total!" our current system (pictures, music, contacts, messages, etc ..) and save it on your computer.
3. in addition to the system that you want to download mettetene also one of "emergency", because if the current gaming system that you downloaded does not work, bring in recovery mode system and install the emergency system and then install the backup you made before .
4. for every problem in the messages ask and I'll try to make a general answer to the problem you have.
5. do not totally rely on the system (for everyday use) because there are still some problems that I will solve in the future with new versions that come out.
6. the phone is responsive to commands you give it to avoid thermal warming much will always recommend every6. the phone is responsive to commands you give it to avoid thermal warming much will always recommend every time you use an app to close it when you do not need or use CLEANMASTER or other application to clean the remaining ram.
7. Enjoy your phone updated

Papetation ROM by papete
OK, so the main question is why another Sense based ROM? well, now that our beloved Sensation is getting old, it seems that fewer developers are working on our phone and updates are not as fast as they used to be. As long as I own the Sensation I will keep on making my custom ROM (for personal use) based on official HTC releases, and given that to make a "public version" I just have to add a couple of things, I'm sharing with you all.
The ROM has a few tweaks to improve multitasking, which is the main reason I decided to make a custom ROM. The tweaks are not aggressive and stability should not be compromised in any way. So we could say that the "philosophy" of the ROM is to get a rock solid phone stretching its capabilities to the max.
This ROM has been posted for months now on a Spanish website, so it has been fully tested, I'm just bringing it to XDA and added back a couple of things to make it suitable for a more international clientele.
System details:
Android 4.0.3
Sense 3.6
Based on firmware HTC 3.33.401.55
Kernel SebastianFM
No visual changes, stock look
ROM Details:
SWAP: The ROM (during installation) detects if you have a SWAP partition on your SD card and uses it to improve multitasking
Tweaked memory management: I've tweaked the default memory management to keep apps on RAM for longer
ROOT with SuperSU
SQLite & Busybox
Unsecured boot.img
A lot of bloatware removed plus other things to make it leaner
Photo pics quality improved
Zipaligned
Zipalign check on every boot
De-odexed
init.d scripts support
System read-write support
Change bootanimation
MMS size capacity up to 1000k
/data folder on zip so you can add your apk's before flashing and have them all installed easily during installation
GPS config modified for faster satellites acquiring
FaceLock is disabled to free up space
Eliminated all loggers and sniffers from HTC, CIQ, etc
Facebook pics sync with other apps
System wide volume improved
.... and a lot of other minor tweaks
Required:
HTC Sensation/4G/XE S-OFF
4EXT Touch Recovery
Firmware 3.33 (Recommend to flash this firmware as it contains all we need plus the latest radio:11.76C, thanks to Kohr-Ah for the base) MD5: ee16e11cb270ec08144f198e4056cf70
A fast SD card: class 6-10
A SWAP partition on your SD
Firmware flashing:
Copy the PG58IMG.zip file on your SD card (root folder)
Check that the MD5 sum is ee16e11cb270ec08144f198e4056cf70, a corrupted file will brick your device. I'm not responsible for what you do to your phone!
Power off your phone and boot it in bootloader mode (volume down + power)
Select that we want to update the software (volume up for yes)
Once you receive the message that the software has been updated successfully, erase PG58IMG.zip from your SD card so it will not ask for the update again if you enter the bootloader.
1º Create SWAP partition:
Make a backup of your SD
With your SD in your phone enter bootloader and then to 4ext Recovery (Volume down + power, then select recovery)
Select "Tools-partition sd card"
It will ask if you want to format all the SD, or to save the information you have in it (fat32). You already have a backup, so select any option.
Next screen will ask for the size of the 1º sd-ext partition, we select "skip".
Next screen will ask for the size of the swap partition, I recommend 256
Confirm and make the SWAP partition
2º ROM flashing:
Download the ROM and save it on your SD card
Boot into bootloader (vol down + power), then select recovery
Do superwipe: (select wipe data/factory reset and then wipe cache+ dalvik)
Go back to the main menu and select "Install from SD" and then "choose zip from sdcard"
Look for Papetation ROM on your SD card list, select it and let the process begin
After it finishes the installation reboot you phone. First boot takes a while, so be patient
Changelog V-2.20 (January 10, 2013):
Updated base to 3.33.401.55
Firmware updated with new radio
Updated Superuser binary
Initial release on XDA-developers
Important notes:
* SWAP benefits are not immediate the phone takes a while to identify the packages it can move to SWAP (out of RAM). A phone that has been on for a while will behave better than a phone that has been on just a couple of minutes, as SWAP will be operating more effectively.
*If your mobile operator uses fast dormancy, use the build prop editor (included) and look for the line "ro.ril.fast.dormancy.rule", change the property key from "0" to "1". This should give you a battery benefit.

Introduction to the installation of the King Rom 3.0 Evolution
Before installing the Rom you need to make a backup of your device in case something goes wrong. Do it with MTKDroidTools flashabile with FlashTool.
Those who have already installed the recovery Cwm they can make a second directly from recovery.
For the first, here is a guide to the procedure of backup, for the latest version of MTKDroidTools and drivers necessary for the proper use of the application Backup with MtkDroid
Just this already, but if you want here is the guide for the second procedure to install the modified recovery Cwm How to install Cwm

Before installing the Rom is necessary that you know what version of drivers Lcd and Camera is on your device, because the installation with incompatible drivers would inevitably lead the phone to the brick. During the installation process, my Touch Installer you will propose different combinations of drivers Lcd and Camera. Simply indicate which is the your, and the installer will continue its task.
If you do not know what is the drivers combination of your device, you can check it through this easy steps:
Open the numeric keypad of the phone (as if you have to dial a phone number)
Enter the combination * # * # 116 # * # *
A window will open which among the many things listed, will also present the version of your Camera and Lcd drivers.
If this procedure does not work (does not work on all versions of this device) then you just enter in "Factory Mode":
Turn off your phone
Holding down the volume down button (be careful! Volume -), press the power
As soon as the phone is starting, you can leave the power button whilst continuing to hold down the volume button -
It will open a window with the words "factory mode" followed by one with various items, as in this example
You can leave the volume button
Now the volume button will need for scroll through the menu items
Go to "version" and enter by pressing the home button (middle bottom)
Now between the various items that appear on the screen there will also be those of your camera and LCD drivers (if you do not see scroll with the volume key that are below)
Now we are ready to install the King Rom
You may have already downloaded the zip file from the link above and copied the zip file in SD card.
Restart your device in Cwm recovery and make a backup of your device.
Then always from Cwm perform a full wipe:
-> Wipe data / factory reset
-> Wipe cache partition
-> Advanced -> Wipe Dalvik Cache
-> Advanced -> Wipe Battery Stats
-> Mounts and storage -> format system
-> Mounts and storage -> format EMMC
to make sure you have no problems!
You are ready to install the King Rom from Cwm with the usual:
-> Install zip from sdcard.
Will start the installation process with the touch controls. Be guided by the Touch Installer and when will be asked what is yours drivers combination, simply indicate which is the your from those listed, and the installer will complete the installation.
At the end of this at the request of the installer confirm that you want to reboot into CWM recovery and from here again:
-> Wipe cache partition
-> Advanced -> Wipe Dalvik Cache
Reboot and enjoy your new King Rom!
Enjoy my work. It's really powerful and optimized. Enjoy!!
P.S. I'm Italian and sorry if I have not written in good English
If you like my work, please feel free to give me a thanks and if you want give me a drink...
Cool!!

[WARNING]
By proceeding with the following tutorial you aknowledge that i will not be held responsible if your device gets bricked or gets any other sort of damage.
Although the intent of this tutorial is to help people out and have the most for their devices. Just proceed accordingly.
Always Remember to:
- Make a Backup of your EFS;
- Never mess up with ODIN checkboxes;
- Never Unplug your device whenever it is flashing;
- Have ClockWork Mod Recovery (or TWRP Recovery) so you don't end up without knowing how to restore your device;
- Read all the steps carefully.
TUTORIAL
[BEFORE PROCEDING]
Note: If you Miss your device Drivers Please Install Samsung Kies First.
1. [BACKUP YOUR EFS FOLDER]
For Best Results Create a EFS Backup as: *tar / *.tar.gz / *.img / and a direct copy of the EFS Folder.
Thread on how to Backup and Restore your EFS: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2329937
Note: There are some application at Google Play that can also do it for You. (i.e: Galaxy SL Unlock or GSII_Repair, etc)
2. [BACKUP YOUR SD CARD]
Formatting your External SDCard is important, but not required.
Therefore you may not perform a Backup but removing SDCard before Flashing is advised.
[FLASHING THE ROM]
Note: This guide refers methods for "ClockWork Mod Recovery" (CWM)
1) Remove your SDCard (if you've not done it already)
2) Reboot Into CWM or TWRP Recovery (If you don't have it search for the Proper Recovery for your Device)
Booting into "Recovery"
(Press and Hold) Vol. Up + Home Button + Power Button (Release after the 1st Logo is Shown)
3) Under CWM Recovery Select under the following Menus:
<"Main Menu"> :: "Wipe Cache Partition"
<"Advanced"> :: "Wipe Dalvik Cache" (then return to 1st Menu)
<"Mounts and Storage"> :: "Format Cache"
<"Mounts and Storage"> :: "Format Data"
<"Mounts and Storage"> :: "Format System"
<"Mounts and Storage"> :: "Format DataData"
<"Mounts and Storage"> :: "Format SDCard"
<"Mounts and Storage"> :: "Format EMMC"
4) Return to Main Menu and Perform a "Factory Reset".
5) Remove USB Cable and Reboot your device into "Download Mode".
Booting into "Download Mode"
(Press and Hold) Vol. Down + Home Button + Power Button (Release only when it Loads under "Download Mode")
6) Open Odin
7) [ODIN] Under [PIT / OPS] Load your "*.pit" File (i.e: "latona_20110114.pit")
8) Restart Your Device. Once You Get the "Black Screen", Remove the Battery and Boot into CWM.
9) [ODIN] Load Rom Files
Note:If you come from other a Custom Rom, you may have to Flash Original Firmware 1st.
Note: Always Double Check if you're Loading the Files (Bootloader, PDA, Phone/Modem and CSC) in the proper Place.
Note: While the operation is running Do NOT Remove your USB Cable or Disconnect Your Battery untill you see the "PASS!" message on the top left corner.
Note: To prevent Flash Failures; always use High Quality USB Cables; and before pressing Start Put down your device and don't touch it untill the operation is complete!
You may check Loaded Files example bellow (for Full DDLF2 ROM).
i.e:
[BootLoader]: "APBOOT_I9003DDLF2_CL1153545_REV08_user_low_ship.tar.md5"
[PDA]: "CODE_I9003DDLF2_CL1153545_REV08_user_low_ship.tar.md5"
[Phone]: "MODEM_I9003DDLE1_REV_00_CL1149304.tar.md5"
[CSC]: "GT-I9003-MULTI-CSC-ODDLF2_RST.tar.md5"
10) [ODIN]
Note a) If you come from Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean or KitKat (Custom) Roms; it is advised to select "Re-Partition" Checkbox.
Note b) Make sure you have not Selected/de-Selected any Checkboxes (except the one refered at "a" above).
Never change anything if you don't have no idea what they are for.
Specially "Phone EFS Clear". This will literally kill the ability to use your device as a Phone.
Also note that Only a Box or Samsung Service can restore your IMEI if this ("Phone EFS Clear") happens to be Selected.
11) Now that you've Double Checked Everything put Down your Device, Press "Start" and Read the Next Step.
12) When your device completes the procedure above, wait for it to load the 2nd Boot Logo (Usually Animated).
Note that the device may load automatically under recovery to Access, Install and Configure CSC.
If it doesn't then: once the 2nd Logo Starts, count to 3, remove your Battery and Boot your Device under Recovery (Not CWM at the Moment - Reason found Bellow).
This will make sure that the CSC is Installed and Properly Configured (Except if there are any issues with your device, or if you've skipped any of the operations mentioned above).
Note: If you've Flashed Stock Firmware: Know that after you Flash Stock Firmware You lose "ClockWork Mod Recovery". Therefore you must flash it again.
So let's Flash CWM with CF-Root and Custom Kernel (ClockWork Mod Recovery; with Root Permissions and Custom Kernel).
[FLASHING CWM, CUSTOM KERNEL AND ROOT THE DEVICE] (1 File Steps)
1) Remove USB Cable; Power Off your Device and Boot into "Download Mode".
2) Connect your USB Cable, Reset Odin Settings and Under ["PDA"] Load the Following File: "PDA_BCK_CF-root_universal_beta15rc8.tar"
Thread for PDA_BCK_CF-Root_universal: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1355675
3) Put Down your Device and Press Start.
4) Once Completed you now have (A rooted Device with Custom Kernel and CWM Recovery).
Your device shall Reboot into CWM Recovery; if it doesn't Reboot it into Recovery and Perform a Factory Reset Again.
Just to clarify: By Performing this "Factory Reset" (Again) you prevent some Errors like:
- Phone Lagging (Specially While Sliding Between Application Pages)
- Getting some configs from previous flashing
Although some sort of lagging will always be present sometimes.
Remember that this is not an ICS, JB or KK Rom nor LoLaTiOn GingerBread that runs ultra fast!
Those Roms are freaking Good (besides some bugs here and there) and i could only recommend them if you use your phone in a "Always Connected to Charger" State.
i.e: your Car as a Multi Functional Stereo; Mp3 Player; GPS and Phone.
Still You will Kill for sure your Battery! (Eventually... Mine Got Fat! Too Much Fast Food (i mean Fast Roms! =) )
P.S: No disrespect for their work wich i apreciate so much. (I'm sure you understand what i mean)
[REMOVING BLOATWARE] [Deodexing] (ONLY For DDLF2)
There are some different ways to accomplish this.
I'm pointing 2 easiest ways, since i didn't get into Deodexing (for Experts) myself.
Remember: This Deodexing tutorial is only for DDLF2 ROM !!! (Wich i USe by the way)
1st Method:
Download "DeleteUnwantApp_Cwm-New.zip" copy to your SDCard and Flash Under CWM Recovery.
This will delete some pre-selected applications. Maybe the safest method for completely inexperienced people.
2nd Method:
1) Copy "Deodex_DDLF2_Cwm.zip" to your SDCard
2) Boot your Device into Recovery (You can now use CWM Application to do it)
Note: Within the application you can boot either to Recovery or Download Mode.
3) Under CWM Recovery Select: Flash ZIP from SDCard; Go to the Folder where you've previously copied "Deodex_DDLF2_Cwm.zip"
Select it and flash it.
4) After it completes the operation, reboot your device and Install "ES File Explorer". (Found on Google Play)
Note: Or just open your favourite File Explorer. Although i made this tutorial for specific applications. (Including "ES File Explorer")
Reason: The applications i mentioned don't give me issues... (Errors or Bugs), and they are extremely usefull somehow and/or fast (with the lowest resource consumption as possible).
5) On the Top Left Corner you have a "List" Button.
- Enable: "Root Explorer" and press that Label Text to pop-up some extra options.
- Select: Mount R/W
- Set "/system" as RW (After you remove undesired applications Place it back under RO)
Note:
"RW" Stands for: "Re-Writable"
"RO" Stands for: "Read Only"
6) Go back to the "List" Button and Select "Library" > "APP"
7) On the Top Click where you see "User Apps", and select: "System Apps"
8) Remove the Applications that you don't use.
Note that not everything can or shall be removed! Some are part of the system itself.
Best thing to do is to note down the application names that you dont like.
Here's a List of some Applications you can Safely Remove:
- Google Maps;
- Talk;
- Gmail (Email Apk);
- Layar;
- Calculator;
- Samsung Apps;
- ThinkFree Office;
- *Youtube;
Note: I wouldnt remove "youtube" if you will youse it later. If you remove it and try to install Youtube from the Market (at least with DDLF2 Rom) the system will Crash on Minimize Video and Reboot.
Other Custom ROMs by some unknown reason run YouTube Perfectly.
9) Removing Several System Applications at Once:
- Press and Hold one of the Applications you want to remove (This will Enable Multiple Selection);
- Then Select the others;
- Press the Garbage Bin on the Bottom ("Uninstall")
- Confirm that you wish to Uninstall and Wait for the Application to Complete.
- Skip Errors / Force Close(s)
Note: It is possible that the device Restarts during this operation.
If so, re-check the application you want to Uninstall.
10) Once Completed Restore "/system" to Read Only ("RO").
On the Top Left Corner you have a "List" Button.
- Go to: Tools.
- You may leave Root Explorer Option Enabled if you prefer that way.
- Press "Root Explorer" Label Text to pop-up the extra options.
- Select: Mount R/W
- Set "/system" as RO
11) Done! ...or if you want to go further into perfecting...
12) The following steps are not necessary... Personally i do them anyway just to ensure the system will Work Properly without the Applications i've Removed.
- Reboot Under CWM and Perform a "Factory Reset"
- Reboot to System and Test Everything.

"Some Information" ("Installing Tweaking Applications")
Like mentioned before this tutorial aims for a balance between Performance and Battery Duration.
As some of you already know Gingerbread is amazing for Battery Duration, although it's not the fastest Rom and unfortunly it has also a terrible Task Manager.
Therefore i'm including some applications to tweak your device so you can achieve the balance that you can't find in any other Custom Rom.
i.e: Cyanogen based Roms who Consumes a Lot of battery.
"Applications List" ("Installing Tweaking Applications")
Im not going to talk about every single one as this tutorial aims mostly for Performance and Battery Duration.
Bellow you'll find a brief description of some things you can do with the following applications.
- "CPU Master Pro" (Not Free - Unfortunely) or Similar Application that can set CPU Frequency Profiles like (Charging; Screen Off; In Call; Low Battery and Temperature Over-Heat)
- "SGS Tools" (Mostly for advanced users) This application can Remove Boot Sounds; and fix your GPS Location so it locates faster. Has also a ".prop" Editor, and some aditional advanced features in there! Just Freaking usefull!
- "Twilight" (Screen Dimmer) (Red Light Dimmer; with Profiling Options. Very Good and Free Application)
- "Busybox" or "Busybox X" (Not 100% necessary, but Recommended. Some applications require their installation)
- "ES File Explorer" (For me the Best File Explorer. Fast; Usefull; Visually Pleaseant)
- "Task Manager" (To Improve your device Performance. Your device seems not to reboot anymore when it uses all ammout of RAM. You simply won't let it happen!)
- "Nemus Launcher" (Fast Fast Launcher! With low Resource Consuption)
- "XDA Free" (Your Favourite Forum Application! Where you can rate and thank this thread wich gave me some hours of work; post your questions (read Forum Rules 1st is Important); ask for support; make new buddies; etc...)
"Setting Up Applications"
CPU Master Pro: (Paid)
Ok this will be "al gusto" (configured the way you prefer), but i'm going to point some of my own tips.
If you want to do further research follow this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1767797
If you want to take a shotcut...
Then here's some resumed info. (So you can manage your profiles perfectly).
:["Scalings"]:
"Scalings" manage the CPU Behaviour.
Therefore they will help you get the most performance and battery duration.
There are several scalings (including custom Scalings), but i'm going to point out the one's who can really make some havoc and productive effect for the everyday user.
["Smartass v2"]: Is the balance between Battery Duration and Performance.
["Performance"]: Gets the most response as possible.
["Conservative"]: Usefull whenever you need to use your device for longer periods, and/or when you don't have a charger nearby for a long time.
"Setting up CPU Master Pro" Profiles
Open the app Go to Profiles Tab:
The Profiles bellow are the ones who can save some severe battery duration.
Set these profiles "Screen Off" and "In Call"
"Screen Off"
Min Freq: 300 Mhz
Max Freq: 300 Mhz
Scaling: "Conservative" or "Smartass v2"
Note: If you need your device to wake up faster change Max Freq. to: 600 or 800 Mhz.
Both work pretty well, they just differ on battery duration and wake up response.
"In Call"
Min. Freq.: 600 Mhz
Max. Freq.: 600 Mhz
Note: If you go Bellow 600Mhz you may end up in making a longer phone call since your device wont respont so fast. (Usually Lagging)
- Memmory Manager (JRummy) (Partially Free)
- Open the Application and set it to "Moderate" (Higher Values can Crash the System).
- Set it to "Apply on Boot"
Note: The after this i never had the "Full Ram Bug (Crash and Restart) issue anymore."
Note: This application has more usefull features although under the paid version only.
Either way you will notice a better performance just by changing to Moderate.
[OTHER] Script to Increase Battery Duration
Info: This thread bellow will something similar to the CPU Master Pro Profiles.
If you cannot find a better solution for CPU Master Pro Application, then you might want to try this. (Follow the thread link bellow)

No worries.
Im glad i could help. :thumbup:

Thank!
hi rgxHost,
i help my wife to upgrade to XXLE4 (Straight from Froyo) and stuck without rooting the phone (flashed but with wifi error).
she encounters video playback problem (not as smooth as Froyo, some ugly scene transitions).
i want to go back to Froyo, but could not find any installation files anymore (all dead links).
i guess i will try to mess with DDLF2.
Thanks for the guide.
Hello,
Im very sorry for repplying just now.
Within so many threads, I completely lost track on this one.
Links from Sammobile are usually dead, but if you ask them they make the links alive for you.
Froyo is not what you're Looking for due to compatibilities. (Applications, Performance, Bugs, etc).
for Performance:
DDLF2 Properly Tweaked, will give you tons of battery duration, device performance, but lacking the use of newer applications.
Custom Rom will do the Opposite. If you go for a Custom Rom.
Go for Nameless Rom. But make a variety of "efs" Backups. To prevent imei losses.
If you Experience YouTube crashes on DDLF2:
1) Root your device;
2) Install ES File Explorer;
3) Under the menu Click, "Root Explorer"; and make "/" and "system" re-writable. ("rw").
4) Go to the Following Path:
/system/framework or /system/apps
5) Long Press YouTube Icon (So you can select: "Uninstall"). Fully Uninstall YouTube (All Installdd Versions).
6) Set the File Explorerto Read Only Again and Restart the Device.
7) Install YouTube from Google Play and You are Good to Go.
Note:
If you still have issues there's a slight chance that your Custom Kernel could be causing such Issue.
Simply Flash a Different Custom Kernel for your Device. (i9003)
ok successfully flashed without CSC (DDLF2) 'cause i was not able to extract CSC file.
ROM works very good. I think it is faster then CM11 I had before.
is there any sense to flash XWKPG or XXKPE? what for? I have my native language on DDLF2 and Region settings so..
could You give me some piece of theory?
Thanks hitten to the OP!
---------- Post added at 12:18 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:11 AM ----------
one more question..
Is it necessary to deodex this rom to gain ability to remove bloatware?
I didn't do so on the other devices before (they were newer ones) - only root and Solid Explorer with root rights.

Foot Notes (In the footer of course)
A few things to note regarding the un-rooted option:
1. If you dirty flash selecting Un-Rooted, all traces of SuperSU will be removed, this will allow Magisk or an alternative root method to be installed.
2. Please complete 1 full boot before installing Magisk.
3. Users can run un-rooted if they wish, I can confirm that Android Pay and Pokemon Go both work after installing the ROM un-rooted.
4. All tweaks options requiring root access will be removed from tweaks if running un-rooted, 90% of these options can be configured in Aroma so you are only missing out on Kernel settings, as init.d is backed up and restored when flashing, your previous configurations will be retained, so you can flash with root, set up then re-flash un-rooted

F A Q
Q 1: After I flash your ROM and reboot my device, my device keeps rebooting/bootloop?
A: Make sure you flash the correct firmware
Q 2: Should I use a task killer on the LeeDroid ROM?
Not recommended, is you really want to, use the one that came with the rom.
Q 3: Backup? What is that?
A good idea is to back up all your data and settings from the phone before flashing a new rom with a full wipe. Best app available is Titanium Back up
The best way to back up the contacts is to sync it via HTC Sync or via your gmail.
Q 4: Are Nandroid and Titanium backup the same thing? How do I manage backups?
No, Nandroid backs up the ROM and Titanium backs up the applications. Nandroid is what you do using the recovery and it makes the exact image of your ROM along with the data.
Q 5: On what occasion will I lose my data (apps, contacts etc)?
Only when you flash the rom wiping data using the Aroma installer option. When you just flash a rom or a .zip from recovery, it will not wipe anything unless otherwise mentioned.
Q 6: I was on stock (or another rom from another cook) and I flashed LeeDroid rom, now I am having some problems.
1. Try to rebooting the Phone and see if it makes a difference.
2. Reboot into recovery and clear cache and dalvik, reboot the phone and clear data of the apps causing problem.
3. Reboot into recovery, reflash the rom choosing full wipe in the installer.
Q 7: How do I flash Full wipe and what does it erase?Reboot into recovery, install a zip from sd card option, select the rom, follow the Aroma installer and select "Flash with wiping all (or something to that effect*)
Q 8: The screen is not very responsive and is lagging.
Let the phone settle down a bit after you unlock it. It generally needs a few seconds to kick up the CPU.*
Q 9: The market is not installing anything. Gives error.
Reboot into recovery and select “clear cache partition”. And under settings - applications - Manage applications - under the Market app < Clear Data>.
Q 10: My battery is draining heavily.
When you first flash a ROM this is what happens. Give it atleast one full charge cycle and it should come back to normal. If required, reboot into recovery and clear battery stats. It is advisable to do so on 100%.
Common Opinion - Heavy battery drain is one thing that you cannot complain about on this rom, for sure. The battery life is much above average*
It's NOT recommended to empty the battery, it may course a poorer battery performance and life cyclus.*
Q11: Should I run the phone battery to zero percent, and what if it does??
A: Absolutely not! Both the current recoveries are giving problems while pulling the battery up from zero percent. If the phones dies off due to battery being zero, try to reboot it into recovery, flash the stock recovery. If it doesnt, then plug it into the wall charger and leave it for as long as it takes for you to boot it. Then flash the stock recovery, charge it fully and do your stuff.
Q12: MMS Problem?
A: Please check your APN settings.*
Q13: Some games that use the motion/G sensor are not working as they should.
A: Re-Calibrate your Gsensor –> Settings – Display – Gsensor Callibration
Q14: I dont like the animations. Dont want them.
A: Go to settings - display - animations.*
Q15: How do I change the bootanimation or the downanimation?
A: System\Customize\Resource or System/Data/Local. Replace the boot/down animation.zip file with the one you want. The new file must be named bootanimation.zip/downanimation.zip.
Mine
Way to go Lee!!!
I will up a stock rooted odex build in the next few days along with an option to flash back to stock, probably an RUU or ARUWizard + rom.zip combo.
Could you please make clear if I can somehow flash this on my O2 Device.
I'm on 1.32.206.15.
Or do I first have so get supercid or s-off?

Hi
Check the install path mentioned just above the download links, HTC Dev unlock your device, flash TWRP, backup & flash the rom zip.
Providing the install path matches, O2 UK will work without issue
No supercid nor s-off needed?
That rom reads so nice. I'm downloading. [emoji4]

Did /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name not work for you? It's the default path.

It didn't want to play & wasn't visible so I went with the direct mount, mimicking the m8 install bud, from the feedback i have had it seems generic, flashed 2 devices numerous times with test builds and all is well ?
Uploading the guts of an RUU as we speak, ARUWizard from the M8 along with an official signed 1.32.401.8 as a fallback, once again tested numerous times
Good to see first ROMs poppin' up!

Very strange indeed, which version of twrp are you using? And did you check the MD5?
I installed this build twice to 2 different devices prior to upload.
About to go to sleep so check the md5 , if it matches, full wipe & try again, if it fails, restore your backup & I will take a look tomorrow evening..
Love how quick backup and restore is in this beast.
Edit: I am running a slightly modified version of twrp, link below but as always, use at your own risk. Team win and all affiliates will not be held responsible ?

Get some rest, you deserve it
Firstly: thanks for the efforts.
And do we really need the latest ota update to flash this? As soon as I got my hands on the phone I immediately flashed TWRP, so I'm in a bit of a predicament right now as I can't update via OTA right now...

I would say YES you need latest OTA before flashing this rom. Lee mentioned it for a reason so I would follow the instructions. Why don't you just restore stock and grab the OTA just to be on the safe side ?

as already I mentioned in my previous post this ROM will install Android 5.0.1 lollipop on our phone.
-speed battery charge increased by 30%, comparable "almost" to that of the Samsung Galaxy S6;
-Stability system increased by 10%;
-the improvement of the streaming video and the reaction of the system;
-possibility to increase the RAM phone attraverso swaps that do not create any problems or crash the system;
-possibility to download almost all apps except those that are officially Android lollipop;
-new app including Xposed modules that enhance both the graphics and the phone is its performance;
-all phone app have been partially modified to make it so it is not wasted too much RAM or battery;
-autonomy battery stable (however advise you not straining too much, otherwise it leads to serious problems for both the battery and the phone is);
-and many other new features ...
-one that will bring Android 5.0.2, with some improvements and fixes minor bugs;
-one that will bring Android 6.0 Marshmallow, with major changes to most of the system is perhaps our dear beloved 3D!!!
the installation file weighs about 780 mb so I recommend you also leave free 2 GB to make room also backup and emergency system otherwise do my (recommended version 4.2.2 pacman).
But now I'll explain how to install the ROM on your LG-P920:
-for the first thing we connect our phone via USB cable to our PC;
-So We copy the RAR ROM Lolli 5.0.1.rar (extracts the desktop) files in the main memory of the phone where we have the backup folder clockworkmod (if there is you then do this: press the power button + volume button upwards , the phone will reboot into recovery mode and you have a couple of options available to us we need backup and restore, let's go on with the volume keys and confirming with the power button, and go to select up and he will make us a backup version and all files, settings, etc ... we have in the phone, you now have the backup folder).
-Now go to "backup and restore" with the volume keys and confirming with the power button, and then select Restore and select ROM Lolli 5.0.1
