***FTF*** 18.3.C.0.39 for D2303

Sony has released the 18.3.C.0.39 Firmware for Xperia M2 D2303, I have no changelog, but here is the FTF link to the generic malaysian version. Please mirror it if you can.

No, it's just a small update.

I have problem while trying to create ftf. I downloaded Swisscom CH firmware via XperiFirm, it went ok, but after making bundle with FlashTool I get ftf file with only 49.9 MB? I included everything (no .ta files), selected phone from list, and it went ok, but size is not right. What else should I do?
I have to flash another firmware, because Sony update has left my phone without service. So I am hoping that another one will fix my problem.
My phone is Generic D2303 (unbranded, SIM free).

I've downloaded the Customized MY version of the firmware, and I'm having problems creating the FTF file as well. The process stalls when the bundle is being created, on the boot_delivery.xml file. Not quite sure what to do, can anyone else bundle the firmware?

use the latest version flashtools it will do it all no need to bundle or create it will do it for you now .you should have no problems with it .i am using latest version .

Thanks, I found it. Apparently problem was in bad download (I downloaded both 4.3 and 4.4 Swisscom CH firmwares and there was the same problem), and now I tried another firmware Vodafone DE and it seems to be ok, size is around 1 GB.
And it does not solve problem with SIM card.

It might work on a D2306 if I flash D2303 firmware and upgrade?

You can test it, maybe it might work. Other way around it works. I have flashed a firmware from D2306 on my D2303, for me it works perfect!

Works, i have installed first kitkat release in mine. After that i had a D2303 model listed in system.

I have updated my M2, too. Can't notice any changes to the previous KK Version.

[Q] are they same, downloading ftf directly and using update service

I want to back up my original firmware that were shipped with my phone. Instead of using sony update service or sony pc companion, can't I directly download the FTF firware of my version(20.1.B.2.15).
I have xperia E1 dual d2105, 20.1.B.2.15

I mean the customized .ftf created by flashtool from the files created by sony update service or sony pc campanion, is it same what the xperifirm (http://forum.xda-developers.com/cro...xperifirm-xperia-firmware-downloader-t2834142) alone create the customized .ftf according to your region .

Type *#*#7378423#*#* in dialer and you'll get service menu, choose service info, softvare info and there you have customization version.

I managed to find my CDA code witch is 1280-9837 but cannot find any .FTF file named this. Filename should be Customized BAL 1280-9837.ftf!
Where can i find it? i really need it!!
XperiFirm and Flashtool can find this... maybe there is more programs?

Yes, there is Sony PC Companion, I don't know why you haven't tried with it yet. And reinstall you phone using PC Companion you can make .ftf that you need.

I have Pc Companion installed but it installs latest soft I want shipped soft 4.3...

PC Companion should download (and flash) the ROM for your specific phone. To build a ftf from what PCC has downloaded you use Flashtool. After all I believe FTF stands for FlashTool Format.
Now I don't remember the procedure, but I've found it in google. There are few. Searching for "xperia build FTF" should be enough.

[Q] D2306 FTF for Fido (Canada)?

Hello everyone
Can someone provide a torrent, google drive, or mega.co link for the FTF of the stock Sony Xperia M2 D2306 for Fido/Rogers Canada?
In an attempt to root the device, I Flashtool'ed a Jellybean FTF and it bootlooped. I threw it into download mode, and flashed the only available D2306 FTF on here, which is for Brazil and it works fine, but even after setting the language on first boot to English/Canada or English/US, system notifications such as "USB Connected" are still in Portuguese.
If someone can tell me how to change it properly to English/Canadian or even US English, that would work as well.

EDIT: Bootloader locked, can't be unlocked. Can't install CM or similar. Repair device in Sony PC Companion does so successfully, but issue still persists after.

You can make it on your own with Flashtool. Select XperiFirm (last icon on the right) select M2 D2306, wait til it's downloaded. Close XperiFirm and wait Flashtool to finish creating of ftf. When done, you'll have ftf in user/.firmware folder.

Hey guys, I need the 45.0.A.7.137 Customized IN ftf file. Xperifirm doesn't have the download link anymore. I downloaded this but it's corrupted, tried 2-3 times, same result.
Please help, I need VoLTE support, Singapore firmware has disabled it. Thanks.

I did have a look but I could only find the link you provided. All I can suggest is to download the Customized IN 45.0.A.7.137 update for the G8142 model and use FlashTool to create a ftf file.

i also need the customized SA nougat but i cant find. its available in xpericheck (both IN and SA) but file size limit is 2gb whereas the FTF is 2.6gb
and cannot even purchase premium at alfafile.net idk whats wrong. tried many cards. it says that transaction declined by alfafile.net partner.
