HTC Desire 210 CWM Recovery

Hello Devs,
Bought an HTC Desire 210 and decided to root and install recovery on it. I rooted the phone using vRoot and followed this thread to manage a working CWM based recovery.
I do not know whether the same recovery will work on any other device but I'm more than willing to share.
Download the boot and recovery here.
I'm still learning the ways of Android and everything I did I owe the credit to the devs of XDA. Thanks you for all your support!

There should be a separate forum page for HTC Desire 210, being the cheapest smartphone by HTC. Also it's a good device.

I'll soon upload it, I just don't get the time. Also, there are many useless apps in the Stock ROM, which make the whole backup quite (well very) large in size.

Bro actually i want the CWM recovery which can be installed through fast-boot mode and stock ROM for htc desire 210 for CWM as soon as possible because actually i just unfortunately deleted my play services and now i a facing a horrible problem as of the play store or anything ain't working here to get them work i have to install gapps and for that CWM recovery is needed.I just tried some htc phone's recoveries but i got my own recovery (stock) corrupted now it doesn't boot into recovery the only option i have is the fast-boot mode.My ROM just got too slow and all things are messed up i had the backup of my phone which i made before root from stock recovery but i cant restore that without the recovery and your files of recovery aren't working and if possible please upload the stock ROM for the device for CWM so restoration is possible for the phone if corrupted.Please bro help me ASAP and make time for it i don't have any other phone and this phone systemui unfortunately stopped error is coming please do this work.Please eave your any work apart just upload this please bro.:crying:

EDIT 1: I created cwm by mtkdroidools and flashed it.
EDIT 2: I flashed 4.2.2 gapps and now the rom is working perfectly.

I have been experiencing some problems lately and there are many other issues that have taken over my time. But I am trying my best to take out time for this device.
Also the internal memory size is huge, so the Stock ROM might take up a GB.

I need SystemUI.apk for my HTC Desire 210 dual sim, urgent.

Oneplus one rebooting at boot animations!!! Please help

I have been using Oneplus one for like 1 year or so, and its a beast :good: without wasting time lets COME TO THE POINT "i have a problem":
1) it reboots continuously when at Boot animation, things i have already done>>
a)factory reset,
b)installed various other roms,:crying:
c)did unbrick technique,
d)flashed stock rom using ADB shell,
e)Erased and flashed persist.img,
F)contacted support team, they took a Remote session but all in vain,
Phew!!! but no luck
NOTE:
it reboots only when i flash Android version 5.0 or higher.
On kitkat it works fine what could be the reason, This a'int a hardware problem i guess .
Bonus query(That may help ) :
2)When i got the oneplus after flashing many roms,
I noticed it shows only 1869 MB ram while its 3 GB (should be 2556 mb or so),
and 2.5/2,7 Gb in android version 5.0 or higher,
SO PLEASE ANDROIDIANS , HELP ME!!!!!!

@adarsh58 I assume that you've unlocked ur bootloader etc. so just scroll down to step 9 and flash the file u need to go from kitkat to lollipop.
The reason why the roms are stuck on the bootanimation is because the bootloader and modem files are updated so it will only give errors and will cause an bootloop if you don't update them. Try it and report back :good:

Well, you could try back to stock via fastboot I suppose right? Like it should flash it out of the box so nothing should go wrong, ofc download properly for 16 or 64gb and don't forget to flash any file :good:

Sday i recreated the android file system.
ls -l /dev/block/platform/<block_device_name>/by-name/
make_ext4fs dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/pesist

LRA ☆SM-G920R6☆ Root without tripping Knox Counter

Hi. I'm finally can root my SM-G920R6. I use the KingRoot.apk the v4.80 and root the phone. But it's not full root. Them I use the SuperSuMe.exe on my PC to remove all the KingRoot app and install the official SuperSu.apk The program install it's self. And now we can install the correct binary and reboot the device and don't lose root... ohh and my Knox still 0x0... =) XD:laugh: :victory: :highfive:

Sincerely I don't know if full root or not. But for me is working. And other things I don't know is full knox disabled. The SuperSuMe block the knox in one of the process but I don't know if is disabled at all or not.
I wish this can't help all the SM-G920R6 user. And don't want to avoid the knox warranty.
The only thing you can see is every time you BootUp your phone it say Custom.
The next thing I'm going to do is make a full backup with FlashFire app because mi firmware not appear in SamMoblie. If one Dev can make something with this backup for make custom roms or something good for this devices model.

I rooted with CF autoroot for G920F no problem then installed TWRP 3.0.2-1 zeroflteusc also built for G920F model and in the process of trying to find a better rom as soon as I had a custom recovery, me (being a dumba**) accidentally wiped my internal storage to do a clean flash of a rom therefore deleting the only backup I had. I've only been able to find the factory binary for this device which I flashed but it had literally nothing exept for basic testing software and a simple ui to run it. It was also stuck on Android 5.0.2 but I found a compatible rom with AllianceROM v1 with update v2 flashed for the G920F but I can't find any way to update past 5.0.2!! I've been trying to find a way to update somehow for weeks but nothing is compatible with my device and I'm stuck. Would someone that has my model running on Android 5.1.1 or 6.0/.1 please install the TWRP I mentioned before and make a backup of the system, modem, efs, and boot and post it online or send it to me it would be a lot of help.

Because my device is G920R6 originally and i want it back the 920F rom is barely compatible with my device as is and i want a stable rom made for my build and also to enlighten others of how i rooted this phone and what custom recovery is working for me. Even on 5.0.2 and an unstable rom my battery lasts 6+ hours of constant use so root is working fine for me.

So much hate.

yeah i see now this model phone is the ugly duck....
But some one have the factory firmware of this model flashable with odin. Thanks a lot.

Hi. i found a factory SM-G920R6 Android 6.0.1 frimware... but this android version I'm rooted with the same cf auto root you used .
And I don't know remember were i downloaded the firmware.. But later I try to uploaded.

yeap.. but when I install the recovery the phone gave a glitch.. its flipping the touch response inverted.. and the only fix is with root. and use the app. phone info.apk for Samsung and use the secret code with root because it is blocked on the dialer.
but i have the backup for the new firmware. not the android 5.0.2

That's exectly what I need I'm stuck on 5.0.2 and I want to upgrade back to 6.0.1 it's mainly the bootloader I need because no other marshmallow bootloaders work for this phone and the one I have is only for 5.0.2

#I Have Not Made this Root Kit But Just Modified it Acc. To device Credit Goes TO Respective Dev. And XDA#

My pleasure helping u Bro .currently i m off xda due to some work but my pending projects are Xposing Lyf Water 5 and making stock rom for it and i was near end to finish them but due to some work i have to stop them so 1ce i m bck i will complete the stock rom first then will try to port lolipop customized roms then upgrade roms like CM but also i m also a starter. so cant say. its just the interest which led me to make these projectss so portings seems tough but will try soon. get subscribed to my posts so u get info soon , Good Day

I installed that TWRP, but, when TWRP locks after being idle for few minutes , I cannot unlock it.
When I press power button after screen off in TWRP, I get a blank screen with no unlock option.
Is it problem with you too ?
Also, can I get the unaffected system image ? Mine is affected by some adware to which I granted root permissions, and now full screen ADs appear on my phone even in safe mode.

Thanks for reminding me buddy ,i tried a lot to fix this prob but the only way i found out was disabling the screen timeout .I forgot mentioning this in the thread now i would update therre too. And also i was busy backdays so couldnt prepare the firmware for device so wait i would upload it by Christmas.

By the way, I just backed up my phone (complete backup except userdata) using FlashFire. And, it happened in about 15 minutes. Seems you're doing something bigger !!?

not biger Its just a way other backup is larger and is someway personal like i want to make a factory type fastboot firmware

Hi Buddy it is tough to enable otg support on a device until hardware is available even if u build a kernel with otg support. it can make ur device dead . If u r asking otg for recovery mode to transfer backups then We have it already .And the talk of Building roms umm its tough to cook a rom. So better port roms though we dont have any sources for water 5 so go for porting we have so many device best match is "YU Yuphoria 5010" i would perfer u to port rom from this device. As we have no sources and i hve sold the device too so. Cant build a source.

No Roms have been developed til now for this device buddy we need a guy who has this device and can port roms as i no more have this device . If u need links to rom which can be ported then tell ??

I have a lyf water 8 (ls 5015) which has android marshmallow in it. Can you please tell me that if I use this method , will it brick my phone or will it be successful ? I downloaded the adb drivers from some other website but they don't have the files that you have specified. Please help me !

I have a lyf water 8 (ls 5015) which has android marshmallow in it. Can you please tell me that if I use this method , will it brick my phone or will it be successful ? I downloaded the adb drivers from some other website but they don't have the files that you have specified. Please help me !

No, Strictly Don't use this one it will brick ur device .wait let me search i will come up with something and then try that. Can't Assure that what i will find will work r not brick ur device. But there would be at least some probablity of functioning. So give me some tym

Stock Recovery

Edit: Nevermind. I was able to get the stock recovery from Shaka's page to work.
Anyone know where I can find the stock recovery image? I tried flashing the one from Shakalaka's megadownload page, but it won't boot on my Ultra. Just gives me the Android Gear Error image. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you still have the link for the stock recovery? I'd like to DL it for my files just in case something messes up when i start yo push for Nougat

I am on mobile so can't get to it, but it is on Shakala's megadownload page. The same page where you download TWRP. It is in the WW folder. I believe you can find a link to the megadownload page in the root thread on page 6 or 7.

Nothing yet. Unless a user grabbed it, saved it, and wants to share it we are at the mercy of ASUS.

Did you have any noticable errors or issues after flashing? Also assuming you were rooted before, were you able to regain root access?

Here ya go guys sorry for the delay . Keep in mind I was rooted with twrp installed. After I flashed this my root was lost and stock recovery overwrote the twrp. I have been unable to flash twrp again and achievement with 7.0. I do notice 7.0 is way faster than marshmallow. Haven't really seen any bugs yet but keep in mind this is my second device .
All you want to do to flash this is put the file on the root of your internal memory and restart the device .you will get a notification to install the update . Its That simple

Thanks man. Giving it a shot now. I wonder if we would need Shaka to compile us a new TWRP.

Okay loaded and working good so far. No initial errors. I wanted a fresh load so I downloaded the update file and placed it on my external SD. Then I booted into boot loader and fastboot flashed the stock recovery. Next I booted into stock recovery. Selected factory reset, and then apply update from SD. I selected the update and it installed perfectly. Booted into nougat without errors.

Did the update fix the low call volume issue in Marshmallow?
