Hello!
I rooted my gs7, and I wanted to enable the keyboard symbols, I saw that this can be done trough csc. But, I can't find the csc features.xml
It should be located at system/csc
But there is no such folder..
Any idea why?

You need to create the folder and file feature . Within the file write csc code. Here at XDA have post how to do.

I have the stock Samsung Rom rooted but my features.xml file is missing from the csc folder 1, it's nowhere to be found.

I am trying to edit some android apk's with apktool and elipse. I successfully decompiled the app, but when I go to eclipse and look at the .xml files, they are not in English. Just weird symbols. How can I translate this into English? And if I do, Do I have to convert it back to the weird symbols after editing it to recompile and use the app again?

I use Root Browser RB Text editor
Edit this file:
/system/csc/others.xml
Copy and paste those [quote features text] in post#2 at the bottom just before </FeatureSet>
Save and reboot
Yeah, Only English (US) works, and no other languages work. Might be a bug.
Same here for german. Ive tried with "de;de_AT;de_CH;de_DE" - nothing worked. Only english US works. Does anyone have an idea why?

Yes, Because to access the others.xml which is in the system partition (System/csc/) cannot be done without root or TWRP.
Not being able to get secondary symbols is a common MM issue, which even the Note 5, S6 are suffering at the moment. Hope somebody finds a tweak to enable the settings.

How did you do that? I looked for a way, but can't find anything. it's the one thing that bothers me about the Samsung keyboard.
EDIT: never mind, figured it out
It works for me for both English and Vietnamese. Simple trick but save lots of typing.

*Because the touch response of stock keyboard is better than SwiftKey
*Because Pop-up on keypress cannot be disabled on SwiftKey
*Because SwiftKey appears on Battery usage/history list whereas Stock never appears
*Because Stock Keyboard is not "Another App!"

Stock keyboard is just listed in another point. I think it's part of the Android system.

I edited the file via root explorer and added the code at the end and changed my language to english US and also rebooted the phone but it does not seem to work for me. Am I doing something wrong?

They both link to G82XX.zip but I changed 2 to 1 and it worked.
G81XX folder only contains the file G81XX.properties.
G82XX folder contains G82XX.properties, 41.fsc, default.fsc.
Is this correct?

Well, Im on OSX and Im really noob to Xperia world LOL. I think Im gonna put windows on a VM to try to get the packages.
I tried to create fsc script but only got 0 byte file...
For now Newflasher is working great. (be sure to remove .ta and userdata)
