I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy Trend (GT S7390).
My phone doesnt support Link2SD, so I downloaded Foldermount.
I got the "Foldermount has detected a faulty module" message and clicked "solve".
After this my phone acts in an extremely strange way. When I open storage settings, it is written that There is no space availible on internal memory, and I cannot access it - for example, I cant take screenshots anymore (I get a "memory low, delete some files" message), but when I take my SD card out of the phone, it continues working, even though the file browser shows that internal memory is empty and unaccessible (If I try to create a file in internal memory, I get a "permission denied" error). All this is extremely strange, because I dont know where the hell are my files and how does the phone work if it says its empty, but I can download applications with no memory warning. Moreover, this is very inconvinient, because I cant store anything on the phone and many apps dont work. I didnt find anything similar in the internet. Could you please help me?

Hello.
I recently purchased a chinese off brand tablet and had an unexpected issue with the memory being partitioned. The model is vKB011B and it's processor is mt6592. It's running a Mediatek flavour of Lollipop 5.12.
The issue is that, while it has 64GB of internal memory, it's memory has been partitioned into one 4GB block of "Internal Storage" and one 60GB block of "Phone Storage". Apps, and most app data, all install to the 4GB partition so it runs out of memory very quickly. I can side step the issue to some degree by moving apps to "Phone Storage" but only some apps can be moved like this.
Basically I want to gain more access to this memory for the purpose or installing apps. I rooted the device and tried to use App2SD but it seems that this app only works with an External SD. I found a thread here describing a way to tell my device where to install apps but this doesn't appear to have any other option but "internal storage" and "external storage". I tested it just be sure and it doesn't change the install location without an external SD.
So I'm looking for what I can do to make my device install to the 60GB partition and preferably any app data as well.
Alternately I found this thread regarding altering partitions....
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-l/general/guide-repartition-internal-memory-data-t3052242
But I am uncertain if this will work the same with my particular device since it sounds like his device has unified memory he's just stealing from the system memory. It also seems fairly risky if there is a means of simply installing to the 60GB partition with out altering it.
Finally, I am wondering if there is anyway to switch my device to unified memory?
Thank you very much for your time.

Hello guys! I recently bought a gionee P5W,the phone is really good looking and a fast tasker. However I am facing a problem the external sd card(16gb) is being shown as sdcard0 however it should be sdcard1 also all the system files from camera images,Bluetooth files to apps downloaded from third-party appstore everything is being stored in this external sd card also there are certain apps which are caches & data in both internal & external storage at this rate my external sd card run out of space I use that card in multiple devices so I can't afford that also in case I remove it some stop working. When I checked in settings and the phone's bundled file explorer there the external sd card was shown as external storage but can't find any way to correct this. Also this all started after I removed external sd while the phone was running, and when I put it back error was shown "sd card damaged
Please format to use" but I continued without formating I think this info will useful to ones who may try to solve problem . I will tell about my phone, its a gionee P5W with 1gb ram, 1.3ghz quad-core arm 7, and android lollipop
So I want to stop & want that card to be shown as sdcard 1 like all other android devices and store data in its internal storage. Please If anyone can help, please help me I will highly gratefull to you.

Hello everyone. I decided to post on here because I had no idea where my device would fit. I am using android 6.0 on my phone. When I go to file manager, it shows that I have 6.44GB free of 7.89GB on internal storage. Even apps like disk usage and storage analyser show I have 6.44GB free. However, when I connect to PC(MTP), It only shows 1.55GB. I can't even copy anything onto the internal memory anymore. It always says 'insufficient storage' or something. I tried looking for the vold.fstab, I couldn't find it. My phone is rooted. All I found is fstab.mt6580. I need help. I want to access my internal storage as well. Thanks.

So a while ago I noticed that when I do a factory reset on my phone, the apps that I HAVE INSTALLED remain installed. Even if I delete them I don't have access to the rest of the memory, I have about 2,4GB free of 4GB. (Note: The phone has and 8GB internal storage, and before I encountered this problem I had access to the 4GB)
Now for the other part. When I connect my phone to my PC, it should show 2 drives well mine doesn't show the second one anymore (which is the internal storage) just the SD one. If I remove the SD and plug my phone back into my PC, it shows the Partition of the internal memory, called G:, but I get this error message, G:/ Is not accessible. Incorrect function. .
I've tried to format it but it doesn't work. Any other ideas would be appreciated.
