Hi all
Here I attach a best file manager for your Xperia X10.
It is Like Linda file manager but more graphically and has a smooth animation.
I really Like this one.

Thanks for the screenshots. I'll stick with RootExplorer, a must have app if you're rooted.

I installed the stock rom with this guide :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2513701
I tried method 2, because method 1 didnt work for me.
I cant install roms, copy file to the internal memory, download files...

Make a backup first! I am not responsible if you brick your device! This is tested on Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 Device must be rooted and with any files manager like root explorer replace with bootsamsung.qmg and bootsamsungloop.qmg and shutdown.qmg in
system\media
for boot sound replace PowerOn.ogg in system\media\audio\ui
set all 3 files permissiont to 644
and reboot

It's chmod permissions that define the write to modify or write to the file. 6 is read and write whilst 4 is read only.
You can set this in a file manager like root explorer or ES File Explorer if you have rooted your phone.

I guess it is the same as on a PC for thumbs.db. Those are just temporary files to speed up the loading of your pictures. They are automatically generated except if your file manager allows you to disable them.

Trying to pull downloaded video from an app. The app sticks the vids into the org.xxxxx.com folder. On my older Motorola I can access the folder via Files, but on the Pixel it denies permission to view the files or change the permissions to make the folder visible.

Try Total Commander https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ghisler.android.TotalCommander
When you try to open a protected folder it will ask you to grant it discuss permission

Try X-plore. It will show all the files in Data, and ask once for your permission to open them.
Amaze is a nice open-source file browser that also provides this functionality.
https://f-droid.org/packages/com.amaze.filemanager/

MiXplorer works for me. It uses legacy permissions so that it can work on A13
