can install rom on chinese phone?

If i buy Galaxy SII chinese copy again whit android whit 1 sim , can i flash phone whit costume android rom ? or is it posible to root it ? Did anybody have expirence whit that?​

It's all about software & all country have same software for same model. So u can do all this things.but don't sure about Chinese copy.

With these Chinese copies, there's no guarantee that anything will work like the original, since they don't have the same chips inside. You may be able to root, you might even be able to flash a new ROM, but the chance of finding a custom recovery or ROM which is 100% compatible is low. For that reason, your best chance is to not flash anything, otherwise you might brick it.

will i think it will brick your phone its all about luck or just buy a galaxy original phone

i dont think its possible. most chinese phone version arent built for that.

its not Chinese build its brand samsung but only is HK version

i have buy galaxy s3 clone B92m model if there any rom please let me know

i think chinese roms are useless...slow and unstable

I have a Chinese galaxy note mt6575 replica so far it has been fantastic.
I have rooted it with bin4ry without any problems
I have flashed cwm custom recovery with help from the tutorials on xda and help from senior member yuweng
To flash a custom rom i would have to port it first to get it to work with my device more effort to do it but at least its possible.

I'm not clear:
If you mean a genuine samsung phone: Yes, you can flash roms etc. But if possible double check the forums etc to make sure you can easily find all of the info and downloads you need based on the version numbers etc. If you can read chinese I think you will find tons of forums/support both on XDA.cn and local sites
If you mean a copy: Don't do it. 99% sure you will be disappointed very fast both by the quality / performance and by the lack of any community support.

Help needed

Hi,
last week i bought a Samsung note 10.1 from china. When i got home i found out that i don't have Google play and other Google apps. I read that i could just change the room without rooting the device, using Odin.
Can someone please explain me exactly how i do it, how do i choose what Rom i need, etc?

Model: GT-N8010
Build number: JZO54K.N8010ZCCMB1
Android:4.1.2

top right corner = search bar. Use words flash with odin snote 10.1...

Just ROOT your device and install google play
when that doesn`t help enough change build.prop

But most roms are already pre rooted so i see no gain from this

Not from sammobile... These are stock samsung roms... You need to join and find a rom you want. Just be aware that people have had problems with flashing chinese roms onto other countries tablets, seems to be around modem.bin in the flash, this may also affect you too....

Just to be completely sure, i can use this ROM with Odin even though i bought the note from China/Honk Kong and i am gonna use it in Israel?

The question i would ask first is it a genuine Samsung Galaxy Note not some fake / clone .

So have you succeeded in flashing any stock rom which includes playstore?
cause when I flash it, it fails at flashing the modem.

I succeeded but it won't boot so i flashed the original back...
We have a second exact note 10.1 that was also bought from china/honk kong and we asked from the seller to have a regular rom, and now i have a non-Chinese rom on my second note.
I'll try to ask him how he did it next time, maybe 2-3 weeks.

Try Mobile ODIN... Others have had success using this BUT make sure you have either a nandroid backup or the stock rom...Preferably both...

[Q] Gapps for atrix 2

Hi!, I bought an Atrix 2, it came with ICS but no google apps in it, the phone came from china the box says that is a ME865, but in the phone says the rom is 67.21.123.MB865.ATT.en.US, where I can get the gapps or wich rom must install?

Are you sure its ME 865 not the AT&T model ???
Anyways Download RSD lite and flash back to a stock ROM for your region

It should just be the international model, I believe. Which means it should have google apps by default, If I recall.

you will need to unlock the bootloader and then flash twrp. once twrp is installed, you can then flash a gapps package or flash a us base rom.

Question REDMAGIC 7S PRO TRANSFORMERS ROM

HI GUYS,
i've got a RED MAGIC 7S PRO TRANSFORMERS yesterday as a gift , i was waiting for it long time , but unfotunaly it's the chineese version , sometimes it's in english most time in chineese , no playstore, and lot of limitation .
i want to flash it to global or european version i donwloaded the latest EU rom from official site , but when i try to update from system update, disk, it says the local version don't match the downloaded version or something like this ,
i guess the transformers edition has it own ROM , isnt it ? 7S PRO rom don't fit on it ?
any help from you folks ?
