I have a rooted S6 (G920F) and I used TWRP Manager to install TWRP on it. I wasn't careful with verifying the directory and apparently it installed on the wrong one, and after rebooting it's been stuck in the boot screen with the "RECOVERY NOT SELINUX ENFORCING" message at the top left.
Using Vol- + Power to get into Download mode causes it to boot back into the same screen. Holding down Power by itself or Power+Vol+ doesn't do anything at all.
Is there any fix for this?
try to hold vol- + power + home
i have the same problem.won't work with vol-+power+home
first use volume down and power for soft reset, when screen goes black
use volume up , home and power for recovery or
use volume down, home and power for download mode.

Unrooted stock phone phone cannot enter into Recovery Mode by holding down Power and Vol down key. The LG Logo seems to go in a loop with the logo and blank screen and than LG logo going on and on. When I try to adb reboot recovery it takes to red triangle over an android figure and it won't go any farther than that.
I got to get into recovery!!!
Dear ahsanshah. I was able to get into the phone recovery module finally. This is what I did and is the correct method. Hold down the Vol- down key and Power button to power up the phone. When the LG Logo appears release both the buttons and then press both the Vol+ up and Vol- down key together pressed up till the time the phone shows the recovery screen. Then use the volume keys to select the options and the power key to confirm the selection. Hope that this will solve your problem and have your phone ready to be recovered.
Hi All,
I recently updated my phone's BL and CP using Odin since I wanted to update my version of Superman rom to the latest. I think I might have done it in the wrong order though? (flashed bootloader before attempting to update firmware)
My phone is now stuck on the Samsung logo with the "Recovery is not seaandroid enforcing" at the top. I can get it to restart by holding the Vol Down + Power button but can't get it into Recovery / Download Mode it just keeps rebooting into the samsung logo!! I tried a quick Vol Down + Power followed by Vol Down + Power + Home but it doesn't work and keeps going back to the samsung logo
Is there any other way I can get this to boot into download mode so that I can flash an older version of the bootloader using odin?

Press (Vol up + Vol down + Power button) and when screen goes off quickly press (Vol down + Home button + Power button). Repeat the process until you see the green screen! It worked for me.

One hour later I got this damn thing into Download Mode!! Phew...
I just kept the Vol Down + Power + Home buttons pressed while it kept rebooting itself (I was letting go of the buttons and pressing them again when I saw the screen turn off which wasn't working)
Not sure why the latest BL bricked my phone?! I've flashed one version before and it's now working again.

If you are using PH* bootloader and trying to root the system, you should only use TWRP 3.0.2.3 and best choice would be SuperSU 2.76.. Glad to hear it booted up at last!
So far I've yet to see someone truly brick an S7 since you'd need to replace the bootloader and it wont even flash a new bootloader until it's fully transfered and verified. So no worries there should always be a way out.
you can always go back to stock via Smartswitch and Rescue option.... all you need is your modelnumber and S/N.....
Phew, just went through the same problem, thanks a lot for help, guys!
Hello,
a colleague of mine has a Smartisan Nut Pro (hopefully the sequence is the same as this Nut R1) and while the phone was on at a certain point it kind of crashed and the display just showed the Smartisan logo. Since then, no way to switch it off or reboot it. I've removed the back panel and detached the battery to actually switch it off, but when I try to boot it again it's still stuck on the Smartisan logo and it doesn't do anything. It's not recognised by either adb or fastboot.
I want to try to reboot in recovery mode to see if I can reset the phone or something, but I have no idea how to enter it. I've tried to the following key combinations, to no avail:
Vol down + power
Vol up + power
Vol down + home + power
Vol up + home + power
Vol up + vol down + power
In every case it just gets stuck at the logo. Any idea how to enter recovery mode?

Hi,
A7 2018 (SM-A750F) vanilla
I am trying to flash TWRP on my phone using Odin: entered recovery (VolUp+Power), choose Bootloader to enter download mode, blue download screen is visible, flashed TWRP via Odin, Odin reports success.
But then, the only option to leave download mode is VolDown+Power which results in a normal boot which in turn restores the default recovery.
So what am i doing wrong? How can I exit download mode straight into recovery?
There is many tutorials on the web for A7 2018 but most seem to use different key-combi's that don't work on my phone.
When you're in download mode keep pressing all 3 buttons ( volume up + volume down + power), around 7 seconds. When the screen will go black, immediately remove your hold from " volume down" button and you will be left with two buttons. volume up and power which are used to go in recovery, when you'll hear a vibration. Remove your hold from all buttons and you'll find yourself in recovery mode
In simple steps (They're Same) :-
1. Press all Available Buttons (VOLUME +, - AND POWER BUTTON) For Around 7 Seconds
2. When Screen Goes Black immediately Remove Finger From Volume Down Button
3. Don't remove fingers from Volume up and power button ( keep hold onto them)
4. You'll hear a vibration
5. Remove your hold from those buttons too
6. Congratulations, you're into recovery mode
Yes, that worked.
However on my phone the combi to exit Download is Down + Power and for Recovery is Up + Power.
my samsung a7 2018 got stuck on download mode after i tried to download font chnger through magisk and then it asked me to reboot and now it is stuck download mode and it a loop
Hi, please forgive my English at first.
I have a Galaxy S6 G920F. The system boots, but all applications are stopped (SystemUI, Settings etc.), I can only slide out the notification panel, but there is nothing I can do on it either. It is impossible to turn off the phone with the power button and click "power off". Only fastboot works, original Android recovery and some Korean tests. Home + power + vol up button works, it boots correctly to recovery, but home + power + vol down button does not work anymore and instead of restarting to download mode, the samsung logo appears and the damaged system boots.
Is there any other way I can fix the system if I can't use ODIN for it? There is an update.zip file for me to use in recovery?
