eng.stk overclocked the CPU from 1363MHz to 1612MHz, which is great, but we could seriously use a GPU overclock; maybe 650MHz from 465MHz.

Best Kernel for RR in Zenfone 5

Hey guis, this is my first post on XDA forum, and I want to know, what's the best kernel for Zenfone 5 with the Resurrection Remix ROM with the Beta 7.2 (7.1) build? The stock kernel is very unstable, and decreases performance of my Zenfone, and with it my games lags a lot
I run Antutu with this kernel and scored 16845. With kernel from Beta 7.1, I scored 12945.

Confused between Osprey and Merlin need help

Hello,
I have unlocked my Moto G turbo Edition XT1557 and I am confused what is the code name of this phone Osprey or Merlin???
And which rom do I flash? there no thread of Merlin or XT1557????
If you have the Moto G Turbo (with the CPU snapdragon 615, that you can check with CPU-Z), you should flash only Merlin's ROMs and Kernels.
Osprey is the Moto G 2015 (with snapdragon 410 CPU)

Come on... You have 64 posts and have been member here for 2 years, you know how it works... Go to the developer section, look for the [MERLIN] tag on ROMs and try what's available for yourself. There are multiple "stable" ROM's but that is a subjective term anymore it seems.
bro I bought it yesterday only

You should post in the respective CM thread to request if someone has the interest and time to compile a fresh build.

Kernel Moto G3 TE XT1556

Good Night guys,
I wanna know something about "kernels"...What exactly what is a kernel? I can change it for use a custom rom?
Example:
I found that kernel: Squid Kernel for Moto G 2015
I fouund that ROM: Cyanogenmod 13
And my Moto G its a XT1556 and my kernel its "MERLIN"
I wanna know if i can change my kernel for use that custom rom because my model is not supported by it!?
If yes, will have any bugs?
If not, i cannot use any rom on my moto g because its "merlin kernel" and no exist any rom for that?
Thank you guys, sorry for my english
Happy late Easter :victory:

Hi! I use ViperOS (unofficial 3.1.1) on my xt1543 with its bundled kernel (lionfish governor, 200 Mhz min cpu freq and usb fast charge enable with kernel adiutor) and working like a charm. Using xposed+amplify+greenify I'm getting almost 5 hrs of SOT. By the way, using carrier Personal and 4G working with no problems.
I'm going to test this setup on my phone (I have the same model)
