Unable to use phone at 100% battery charge - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello
After instaling ota update at 20.04 (about 17 mb) my s6 has a strange problem. After charging to 100% (with an original charger) phone keep restarting, the problem solve it self when the battery drops to 98%. Several reboots drain these 2 % and the problem stop. When phone is charged to 99% its okay. Problem start when i recharge up to 100 then it immediately start restarting. Any idea whats wrong? Before that little update everything was fine. I already tried reinstal rom via odin few times. I'm using 6.0.1 xeo for Pland

[Q] Battery Status Bug (Still Charging after disconnected from USB)

Hello.
I got a problem after updating to the latest CyanogenMod 11 from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2528113
I am always updating the latest Nightly Build and since the last update my battery status is showing 3-4%, the charging icon and the orange LED even when im not connected via USB!
Of course my battery is fully charged because it still lasts more then a day.
I read trough the thread and noone reported this bug so i assume that im the only one who got this problem.
My HTC One S:
Hboot: 2.15
Rooted
S-On
Android 4.4.2
CyanogenMod 11-20131216-NIGHTLY-ville
ClockworkMod 6.0.4.5
I tried to wipe Cache, Dalvik Cache and deleted the batterystats.bin but it didnt help.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks

I'm having a similar issue except my htc one s is not rooted. But the orange charge indicator light stays on even after unplugged from the charger. I too tried wiping the cache. Battery apps show battery life is healthy.
In order to get the orange charge light indicator off, I have to restart the phone. But strangely enough, after a restart it won't take to a charge unless I restart the phone again.
So, I finally let the phone on all day to kill the battery and charged it for four hours while off. When I turned it back on the battery icon said it was at 96% charged - and I thought I finally fixed it. But when I unplugged the charger, the orange light did not turn off. ugh. So I restarted the phone and once again, the battery now says it's at 33%. WTF?!
Again, I wiped the cache partition; let the battery die, did complete charge while phone off; did a hard reset (held volume rocker and power button for 10 seconds). Other ideas?
Software info:
Android version: 4.1.1
HTC Sense version: 4+
HTC SDK API Level: 4.63

[Q] Battery problem, help me please!

I have a motorola droid ultra and my battery low and charge very fast.
I use my cellphone 10 continuous minutes and I lost 8%, and I charge my cellphone from 50% to 70% in 15 minutes or less.
This starts when I rooted my device, before rooted my device my battery worked fine.
I tried many solutions but no work. I calibrate my battery, I made factory reset with recovery mode and RSD lite but doesn't work.
I rooted my device following a tutorial to root android 4.4.4 SU4-7.
Please someone help me.
Thanks.

[Completed] is it possible that software only problem makes android phone to go completely dead?

Hi friends, i have a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100), which got turned off suddenly after an official software update recently. when i tried to restart it was struck at logo display, i tried recovery mode and it says cannot mount and cannot recover, tried wiping out cache, tried factory reset but it didnt work. Then in download mode I tried flashing custom rom, official firmware downloaded from sammobile, through different versions of odin but none of them worked. suddenly my phone got turned off completely, not even logo display, when i connect charger it is not charging, charging led is not lit., nor any charging symbol on display. i checked my battery in another device it still have 90% of charge. and i checked my charge also it is working fine. now my question is can a software ( firmware) only problem causes this situation believing that there is no hardware issue. if so please suggest me how to recover.
Hi !
I would recommend you to search and post your issue here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2055736&page=205
Be sure you have downloaded the correct firmware for your device variant and that the battery has at least 70% power , keep your phone connected to charger for few hours
Good luck !

Samsung S6 stuck on Samsung Logo after flashing stock rom

Hi Guys,
So the issue seems to be straightforward and I read many threads about it, but none of them actually solve my problem.
My S6 is locked to Orange Poland (which is currently running 6.0.1 Android). I wanted to flash unbranded Marshmallow rom but that did not go well and in the process of flashing Odin returned an error (Complete(Write) operation failed). That's the way my phone became bricked. I tried to reflash this rom several times (while changing ODIN versions and also I tried single AP as well as 4 files + PIT). None of this worked. So I decided to go back to the branded rom—exactly the same as it was before.
Odin this time didn't show any fail messages and the phone actually started booting up. And here is my problem, it is stuck on the Samsung logo. I tried going to recovery mode, wipe cache and then factory reset but it still cannot go through Samsung logo.
My phone was never rooted. I have up to date samsung usb drivers. I tried SmartSwitch but it fails to recover the phone every time.
Do you kind people have any ideas?
Hi again,
Just a quick update from me. I finally managed to revive my phone. It seems that the bootloop was caused by the low battery (actually 0%, while being connected to PC). Once I charged the phone to 100%, it miraculously booted up and went to the setup wizard. I have no idea if the low battery had an effect on it, but once I charged it, the phone started to work properly.
In the end, I flashed back the stock rom with Orange Poland brand. The rom consisted of 4 files + PIT file. I used Odin3_v3.12.3.
Maybe this will help someone

Thats why you should always charge your phone to at least 70% before doing any flash :good:
