To install the update if I already have 1.0 installed, can I simply flash the new rom zip file or must I do all the wipes/formats before?
Also, is it necessary to run disabled_internal_memory.zip again?

Can You port MIUI 5 for this phone? its a great if you can

i have a huge bug whit the contact
in conctact when select "sim only" the name is the refear number (example contact number 68 in the sim) and the contact number are the name)
in sms when i try to add a contact for send a sms the phone say "no app are able to finish the action"
pls fix this

u can flash all over the old, but apply de disabled internal mem.zip, again (just in case....)
If you see lagg after this, then please backup your things with titanium backup, and install v1.1 from scratch......

i did ported miui v5
but its in an pre-alpha stage at the moment, ALSO the miui v5 ports are still very buggy (so has mine), maybe in 2 or 3 months... lets see

Dot work for zte v970m .i test it. It eror .Revision this rom for v970m. Thank you.for devellop.

The rom works great on v970 (single SIM version).
As for v970M (dual sim version), the rom works, BUT only SIM1 is available, this is because in the original PORT rom, this function wasn't build for our system.
What i'm trying to do right now, is trying to Reverse engineering, this function from the base JB Rom (the indonesian version, in which Bruno's rom is based).
As you may understand this take's some time, i already spend this last 4 / 5 days looking at it, well i found the function, now i trying to port it, but progress is slow and frustrating (for me).

Hey man love your work, barillete rom v2.0 was great and this one is even better for my 4030x, but there is one problem, i have this rom and my friend has it too on the same phone as mine and we cannot be connected to the same wifi or send files to each other over bluetooth cause you made something that our mac adresses of bluetooth and wifi are the same and i think its that... if i can change it somehow please reply....oh and i cant get in engineer mode on this rom.. THIS IS ALSO POSTED ON THE OTHER THREAD

Hello. Do you fix problem with gps on barrilete rom? Something happened with my phone and gps no work. I try barrilete and lewa - no result. Phone is locked by operator - then i'm try to hack this. GPS is really needed for runtastic Other functional working good. Anybody help me! Thanks in advance.

Google drive, one drive and dropbox are blocked in China.
The link in OP needs a software to download which is a known spyware, I suggest you guys use a virtual machine or wait for mirrors.

I just finished the install. Looks good. Mobile data not working for me though. It just says Disconnected.
Everything else I've tried (not a whole lot yet) works well.
If I can't figure out how to get mobile data working I'll probably have to revert to my previous ROM.
EDIT: I gave up and went back to my previous ROM. I'm happy to give it a go again if anyone has suggestions on how to get mobile data to work on Verizon in the US.

I loaded the Rom just fine. No Data Service. When I go back to my normal ROM I still have no Data or Phone Service after loading this ROM. Any suggestions?

This is for single sim, sprint e8 & desire eye... Could be a bug due to your device being dual sim.. And this rom wasn't made for that variant

I managed to get it up and running after I reformat my partitions to ext4 (I was using f2fs). Yeah, it doesnt detect my simcard but otherwise everything is working. I know dual sim variant is not supported now but I hope it can be done in the future.

1. I am using Verizon M8 so, is it ok to flash this ROM on my device ?
2. As its Verizon M8 do I need to flash WWE Firmware, if yes then why (currently I am on 6.21.605.3)
3. Whats the Battery Backup on this ROM as currently I am facing loads of issues with my ROM.
Please reply so that I can proceed also steps to perform?

Hello.
1. You can flash the ROM on your terminal, Aroma select your model course
2. The FW offers the latest available MM . Posted on what is a copying error by the WWE for M8 thread .
3. I do not understand the question , can you be more clear?

Any idea why the app drawer icon at the bottom of the home screen would be missing for me?

Anyone have issue with no 4g? I installed ROM clean, seemed to be perfect. But 4G is constantly disconnected. Tried other network settings. but mobile data is always "disconnected." I am VZW and installed for Verizon in Aroma. Any thoughts? Thanks a million.
I didn't do a factory reset after installation....should I have? Would that correct the lack of data connect?
EDIT: Tried factory reset. Still no data connection.
EDIT 2: I am on MM firmware already so that rules this out. Can make calls, use Wifi. Just no data!

I tried flashing the firmware_6.12.401.4_R: as I'm S-OFF but keep getting this error:
"could not din Meta-Inf/com/google/android/update-binary in the zip file"
Would not install. I'm wondering if this is keeping me from the 4g connection? Is the file corrupted or am I missing something.

that firmware not is for terminals verizon but international. Please use the your firmware verizon

SOLVED:
change APN settings to vzwinternet. 4G roared right to life. THANKS!!! This ROM is awesome :laugh::good:
you can google Verizon APN settings and find all the info.

Thank. This is what I have been trying but no matter what I do the APNs are not getting saved. Any idea why?

Enter your info and I think you either hit the back key or hit Save in the upper right menu selection. I forgot which. But you have to get it so that the vzw entry shows as a selection in the field. I played with it until it saved and all is well.

I'll give that a shot. Which field should "vzw" show up in?
Edit: Ending up following these instructions and got it to save! All the other walkthroughs were having me change the fields that this one tells you to leave.
