Is It Worth It To Buy A Galaxy S7 Unlocked In The US?
If you want a rootable phone then go for it. This is the first Android phone I've had that hasn't been rooted and to be honest, I don't mind as much as I thought. I like Samsung pay and I wouldn't flash aosp and lose features even if I could.

If you are a developer then go for it but you not so its a save that your root is unlocked

I'm pretty new to this flashing firmware/roms....I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 from Verizon that's currently on Cricket. I wish to bring it back to Verizon. How do I achieve that? The ESN for phone is clean; The S4 is running MJ7 baseband! What do I need to do?

You ever get it figured out? Can anyone else give some input?
I'm already using the Verizon S6 but I'm thinking of moving my plan to At&t. My S6 and my wife's iPhone 6 are having issues with dripping calls because if there is a week 4g signal the phone drops to 1x and my drop the call. I am tired of CDMA and want to have the freedom to use any phone.
I really like the S6. I'm rooted and I easily get a full day out of my phone now. I want to buy a unlocked version of this phone to use on at&t. Which is the better unlocked version? Can I root any of the stock Roms on this phone or do I need to stay away from a particular version of ROM that may not be root able.
Also are the boot loaders unlocked?

Most of the phones like branded companies come with bootloader locked! U can easily unlock and the procedure is specific to phone models (but most of the phones with fastboot mode follow same code set except the I'd, it's unique for a model). Once your bootloader is unlocked and you are on a custom recovery you need not bother much. U just have to flash supersu zip and you are rooted (no matter what rom you are on).

If you wanna keep root try a t Mobile. Att is locked bootloader alike verizon. Right now on 5.02 you can root but on 5.1.1 dont think so. I have a tmo variant and im using europes 920f custom roms.

hello guys, i'm going to buy a new phone in 2 days. There are 2 options of S6 edge+ in my country. SM-G928A and SM-G928C. The 928A costs 520$ and 928C costs 650$. Seller sad that you can install russian language to 928C but it wont work in 928A, except this there is no differences between this devices. İ wanted to know what kind of differences between this devices except installing and using another languages? When bootloader will be unlocked, can we install another languages like russian, turkish etc. when bootloader will be unlocked? thanks, have a nice day :fingers-crossed:
i want to unlock the bootloader also

Unlikely
928A is an AT&T variant. I have it. Trust me, you don't want this one if you want to unlock the bootloader or root your phone.
I'm considering picking up a J1 prepaid from verizon, but it doesn't look like there's any development for it at all. The model number is sm-j100vpp if that helps.
Cheers

No. You can't use roms for another device on another device. This includes other S3 variants unless it's been ported over.
Do not even attempt to try anything to unlock the bootloader. Its a VZW device and unless someone has already unlocked it which I highly doubt it may never be unlocked

Hi all,
I have a S7 (flat) that I bought from US Cellular. I know how to root Samsung devices via adb and odin. My question is there a stable working recovery and a safe (non knox tripping or any other warranty voiding) way to root?
It seems there is not way to avoid Knox getting triggered, If warranty so important, wait till the warranty expires, and the root, or wait till a new root comes along with guaranties that will not trigger knox
