HY,i cant help you about the ROM because i dont have your phone and dont know how you have rooted it(S-OF/S-ON),but about the kernell, witch i think will solve your problems, you can flash a recovery, and then wipe cache, dalvik, etc to clean your device, and then flash the SPECIAL kernell for your device, restart, and wait a few moments for it to accomodate .IF you want more details let me know!

HY,installing kernells is a good way of making your device faster, and more reliable, but if you are rooted, you can overclock your device directly if th processor allows that, just head over to paly store and download rom toolbox, there you will find anything you ever wanted ,as for the roms thery are good options as well, you can see what roms are available for your device from an app called goo manager.I hope that I helped you.

If you'd like to change your device the first step is rooting. There are a lot of tutorials out there, just google it or search on the forums. When you are rooted and have unlocked the bootloader, you can flash your (custom) rom. The easiest method is probably to install rom manager then first flash CWM recovery, then select and download your rom and flash it. Once you have your new rom and a new kernel you can overclock your device.
For further instructions, just GOOGLE IT and search on the forums.
If anything said here is incorrect please correct me, but I think this is basically it.
Good luck

Hi,
We need to know your device make and model number to point you towards help. Though if it's a rom specific question, you should register on XDA and ask for help in the thread you downloaded the rom from.
Thanks!

Hi and thank you for using XDA Assist
Unfortunally this is the only good thread with good info and things which can be done on your terminal.
All the steps in order to root your device are there, just follow them and if for some reasons you get lost, just ask there on the thread.
Good luck!
Whats tje thread bro? Thanks for recognizing my query. Tnx in advance. Pls share me a link.

[Completed] I9300 4.3

Hello guys, my name is Francisco and I'm from Venezuela.
I have a Samsung s3 I recently bought, it has Android 4.2.2. I don't want to install a custom rom after reading about all the bugs. But I would like to install 4.3 at least. Since my phone is rooted, I can't update via OTA, what should I do? I don't want to mess it up installing any rom.
Any help is appreciated,
Thanks.

Hi,
You could try this thread about a prerooted firmware that you flash with Odin, http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/general/odinfirmware-sgsiii-i9300-prerooted-t1825272
This may help too, http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/general/fix-s3-to-factory-unroot-stock-recovery-t2323847
And if those threads don't help you, you can ask for further help here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/help/help-thread-galaxy-s3-question-t2690307
Good luck!
Thanks guys, I'll try the prerooted 4.3.
