Share your newly fresh Photo Spheres taken with SGS4!

I decided to start this topic since there was one about home screens (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2244735) and to celebrate the new breakthrough with finally enabling Photo Spheres for SGS4 i9505! (worked before with i9500).

I really like the possibilities you can have with this camera feature, although it is kind of hard to take good pictures since the lens must stay in one place and turn around it's (phones) axis.

One drawback though, it doesn't focus after you have started filming the sphere. That's why the other side of the pic is in focus while the further down side of the pic is whiter and not that crisp. I wish it auto-focused while taking each frame.

There is an apk attached in the link.... Just install the apk as u normally do and u will have 2 cameras and 2 galleries :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

You can go here for the GS4 Google Edition camera with photosphere. It works in most of new devices.

9505 camera prob

hi every body i purchase a 9505 yesterday
i have prob with this camera it s like 2 mg pixel camera not 13
its very bullery and noisy and without any details when i'm zooming on the pictures its very awful.
im attach some pic
please give me construction to fix this problem

my s 4 is not a fale one im correctly playing nfs most wanted hd version on this and its really smooth and the sensors like air view and air gesture
work fine than it is not fake one

no it is 9505 it is really my problem with this phone

If your phone is original and brand new, I suggest you take it back and get a replacement. It's simple as that.

Why don't you change the phone, if you buy yesterday?????

by the way you think my camera sensor is dameged or something else ....?

All s4's take bad pics in lowlight. Try taking a pic outside during the day and report back. For lowlight use night mode or flash.

Could you take a picture of beautiful Iran on good light and post it here?
Low light photos with S4 aren't good and mostly there is a blur due to focusing problems.

[REQ] OnePlus One Gallery and Camera app

Does anyone know if the OnePlus One gallery and camera app have been pulled (or ported.. Or exist somewhere)? I know it's not even out yet.. And the existing ones are still pending lots of fixes and OTAs.
I would imagine the camera app has lots of dependencies, but haven't seen much discussion about it.
Needless to say, the phone name isn't the best with SEO and takes some creative searching to find relevant results.

The phone has to first be released. Then whoever has it needs to post a system dump here. Once we have that we can start pulling from it. We need the physical device first.

That would be awesome! I completely forgot about the Find 7 doing the 50mp pictures.

Apple just patented taking photos at a larger resolution than the image sensor. They are calling it "super resolution". So it may only exist on iPhones in the future. I'm kind of OK with that as it doesn't provide much. Just take up more storage. It does tone down jpeg artifacting, but if you can take pictures in raw format, or can turn down compression, then it doesn't matter.

Somewhere i red that the OnePlus ONE is taking shots at 50MP. I don't think oppo camera needs to be ported...

Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be seeing any 50MP shots from the OnePlus One when it comes out.

Wifi problem

Hello everyone I'm writing here for talk about my problem with this mate 9, my wifi work slower than all the others devices of my home, here a picture mate 9 vs p9 lite and mate 9 vs iPod 5g.
Same wifi 2 meters from the router and so different results. I tried to do a factory reset more than one time but both changed, I'm on MHA-l290432B156.
Hope somebody can help me.

If you're on a 5.0GHz network try using the lowest channel.

Your two phones are connected to different websites. For a proper comparison you must have them both downloading from the same site.

It's automatic so I can't choose the same server, but I know this is true because​I can feel the slow connection, I thought maybe some problem with my router but I tried with a different one and still the same

I was going from the display on the phones - different websites shown.
If he's measuring the downloads from the two sites it will be affected by their upload speeds as well as his download speeds.

Those are in-app Google AdSense ads. He's just using the free/sponsored Speedtest app. They don't influence the tests.

I assume you are not running the tests at the same time right? You need to run them one at a time otherwise the router's QoS kicks in and it's anybody's guess which device is bring prioritized.

I tried it and mate 9 gets more connection but if you add the 2 test download and upload the results is always 9,5 MB and 1,5 mb.
I called the Huawei support services and for them it's a factory hardware problem and really weird because mate 9 has the best wifi hardware version so it Must gets a better results than P9 lite, so I will ask a replacement from Amazon. The girls also told my about nobody sent a bug report about wifi.
