Hello,
I got an OTA update to 4.1.2 Build JZO54K on my Galaxy Tab 2 P3110.
The layout changed with that update.
The old version had a better organized notification bar on the bottom.
Now there are only four buttons on the bottom and a small notification bar on the top.
In my opinion the old layout was better if tablet was used in landscape mode.
Is there a possibility to change it back?

Google forced Samsung to use Phablet UI in Jelly Bean. If you want Tablet UI you have to get root.
So if there is no other way for the better tablet UI, I have to root it.
I think this is no problem at all and I will found enough HowTos here in the Forum.
But what is the next step for tablet UI, after rooting my device?
Are there some hidden config files on the device to change?

I want to install the navigation bar, which both in Android Lollipop. The previous attempt was unsuccessful - I broke SystemUI. Are there any applications that look exactly like on Android L and enables singles to easily revert back without backups?

Guys I have Lava iris 352e a low budget phone with android 4.2.2, 256mb ram & 1Ghz processor. I am trying to mod it to get its best. Please give me the answers to following questions
1. How to change app drawer background by editing systemui.apk/ launcher2.apk & without having any launcher installed? actually I have edited default launcher icons with lollipop one to get lollipop look. now this thing is remaining.
2. Can we change its notification & status bar with lollipop's? am ready to install an app but it doesn't consume so much ram.
3. Can we get anti-theft option in security settings like in 4.4. I have extracted that app from a 4.4 device and installed it on mine. It installed successfully but how to use that?

i checked everywhere and didn't find anything about App shortcuts ported to 7.0 This feature available only for Android 7.1 ? or maybe needs to port google latest apps which have this functionality to get this working on android 7.0 ? i'm on custom rom just asking.
I think it's on the new launcher that hasn't been uploaded to the forums yet. At least i didn't find anything.

AFAIK is implemented by default in Android 13.
