Still waiting to OTA updating for CM 13. - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have 3 stock unrooting phones. I got OTA updating to CM 13 only on one of my phone 2 weeks ago. The 2 other phones still with CM 12.1.1 YOG7DAS2K1. Why I do not get the OTA updating to CM 13 on them too?

Hello and good morning,
I know this from my Nexus 5 too.
Nexus 5 from my friend got the April security patch, but mines not.
It takes some time. If you didn't get the update until 01.05.16 I would install it via Fastboot.
Kind regards,
Trafalgar Square

Where and how can I get and upload the official stock cm13 if I'll not receive it via the OTA?

Is it better to forego the T-Mobile KitKat OTA?

Hey guys I just got a T-Mobile G2 and have a few questions if you don't mind.
I've been reading through the forums and I see that root and such is still not available for the official KitKat update. So my question is, is it better to not install the KitKat update and just go ahead and root and install TWRP onto my device? Or is it wiser to just install the KitKat update and wait for root? Does the new KitKat update provide a new radio or bootloader that I will eventually need?
I'm looking to install CM11, so just wondering what the best route is. Thanks for any help provided!

If you root and install recovery, you can flash the new radio. The KitKat update does come with the new radio. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

If you flash the new radio you lose rotation on other roms. If you wanna flash cm11 do not take the update, you'll have to manually downgrade to get recovery.

OTA updates go out in batches so not everyone will get it at the same time. You could just download it and flash it manually as per the instructions in the OTA thread in the General section
As said above, OTAs don't arrive all at the same time but step by step. I got the notification yesterday on my rooted phone, though I flashed it manually later on to retain root, etc.

OTA Question

Hello. I have a question regarding OTA updates.
I have a rooted Nexus 6 from T-Mobile and I just got the 5.1 OTA updates notification. I downloaded the files, rebooted and it took me to TWRP. My question is what is the default directory in which the OTA file downloads? If I can find it can I flash it likena zip?
Thanks in advance.

Your phone must be fully stock to perform the OTA update. Stock recovery and probably non rooted. You can't flash the OTA using TWRP.
Is there a what to get the update without a computer sideload adb?

So should i install lollipop again and then marshmallow on it?
Will it erase my data?

During the period of the 3 developer previews I read several times that there is no upgrade path from the preview to the final version and that the only way of getting a stable Marshmallow system is to do a clean flash as ldubs suggests. Yes, it will erase your data, so back it all up on your PC. There is no need to install Lollipop first.
