My phone model is samsung galaxy y plus -gt s5303
Android 4.0.4
I am a noob just learning about android rooting
I rooted my device with bin4ry root .
And i was trying to install custom rom such as slimrom .i tried using rom manager but cannot run clockworkmod recovery as my phone model was not listed in support devices by rom manager.
If i tried unzipping rom file in basic recovery mode it says "E: signature verification error"
My question is how unsupported phone models can boot in clockworkmod or twrp recory .and if there are custom roms available for unlisted phone models in custom rom websites

Hello, i'm using Spreadtrum (sprd SC8810) chipset based android device. I also rooted my phone successfully using Unlock root. Now i wanna install CWM recovery on my device. But i couldn't understand which methode i follow to install CWM for my device. Lot of time i've searched on google but didn't get perfect solution yet. So please help me any of you who know about this well. One more question, can i use ROM Manager to install CWM on my device in this case & how much safe that process for my device? Hey Guys need you HELP.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 T999 which was running on android 4.3 (official rom). I rooted the device and also flashed ClockworkMod Recovery which was successfull.
I tried few roms and it did not work and i got an error which siad I have a d2spr device and the rom i was trying to install was meant for d2tmo.
now how is that possible? d2spr is for Sprint and d2tmo is for T-Mobile... and my device is T999 (T Mobile) (I REALIZED THIS AFTER MESSING UP MY DEVICE)
Later I flashed it with a custom rom via recovery menu and after that i tried loading GAPPS also from recovery mode. The custom rom was ok but gapps failed to install.
After falshing the custom rom i checked about device and it says the model number was dat of a sprint mobile (i747)
I tried other custom roms and gapps.zip but now my phone will not boot...when i turn it on it shows the SGS3 CWM screen and reboots into recovery.
No luck trying to flash it with a stock rom using odin either.
NEED SERIOUS HELP PLEASE!
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. First, only flash roms that are specific for your exact device. With your model number changing like it is it appears you've flashed some roms for other devices. I cannot root my Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 SM-G7102 4.4.2. I tried many ways from here none of them worked. I got RESET msg in Odin instead of PASS and even when flashing zip through recovery it says Footer is wrong, Signature Verification failed. I got SuperSu app but while opening it, I got error like 'There is no SU binary installed you cannot install super su.'
Please help me to root my phone with full procedure and even to install CWM Recovery.

I have a huawei g8 and i rooted it and custom Recovery (TWRP) and i wiped the offical Rom of the device mistake became show me a message "no os installed on your device" and i'dont found the custom Rom for my Phone and dont now how to fix it . phone remained stuck on a TWRP recovery.
pleas help me...
and need 4 files for my phone because idont found the offical firmware.

I have this old phone samsung SL or gt i9003 but sadly samsung will never support this phone and all developers are just focusing the earlier release of samsung gt i9000
So I decide to get a custom rom which is cynaegonmod 12
The zip file is signed and ceritified trusted so android recovery mode should install it without any problems..but it failed...it passed the signature verification but the second verification failed...what cause android recovery mode to fail install a signed zip file...please help
