Secure booting Error!
Cause : boot certification verify
This shows in the top left corner when booting into recovery I have tried using the freegee method but it doesn't give me the option to unlock my bootloader. And ideas or known fixes? Thanks for trying to help.
Note: This also happens when attempting to flash ROMs.
Edit: MY Phone is a LG Optimus Pro E980 running 4.4.2
Hi, it would really help to know what device we're talking about.
Sorry
I thought I included this in but LG Optimus G pro E980.
Tried updating the phone with the B511, it was successfful but the problem now is it is stuck with bootloop. it would flasf honor logo but would just restart. tried to unbrick it using the multitool everythings seems to be ok but then it wont still boot. tried to use the Honor 6 and 6+ plus unbrick method and i got no error but the phone wouldnt load the OS at all. I can install TWRP successfully but that's it. Please help me with this one. Ayhting will be appreciated. Thank you.

I have recently borrowed a LG G stylo phone from my sister. Today I accidentally bricked (I assume I bricked it) it while trying to root it with Kingroot 4.1 one click root app . It was successfully rooted as it would seem, I even verified the root with root checker but when I rebooted the phone to secure the root I was unable to reach the home screen and now I'm stuck with a rather annoying boot loop. The phone boots up to the LG logo, displays an error screen then shuts off. This repeats over and over until I remove the battery. I've already tried factory resetting but that has had no effect. I'd be very grateful to anyone who can offer useful advice.
Phone Info:
IMEI:356434073663354
Model:LGLS770
Suffix:ABMUTNH
Error: (690) Secure Booting Error
Error code: 1003

With Kingroot you have to do the bootloader unlock. You could try to find a KDZ file if it isn't the original T-Mobile or Metro G Stylo. Otherwise just fastboot and do a unlock.

This is LS770. There is no unlocked bootloader on it. There is no KDZ for it. You can either buy a tot to re-flash from lg-firmware-romcom, OR lobby someone here on the stylo forums to give or sell you the tot firmware and LGup .dll., OR you can send it to LG, they will fix it and they pay the postage. Many of us have bricked our LS770s multiple times. Kingroot is ONLY spec'ed to Lollipop 5.1, and it is not assured even with Lollipop.
