Samsung Remove live weather on lock screen.
Any Solution ?

I tried to search for answer to this but could not find it for the verizon samsung galaxy s3. Is there any way to have a weather widget with a pin code locked screen after the 4.3 update. I know it's possible if you turn off security and just do swype but is it possible to have that with a pin code locked screen?

Only way I'd see you able to do it, is if you're running a custom rom and set the lockscreen target to minimized.

I have the same question. When I was running 4.1.2, I had the weather and shortcuts to gmail app, text messaging, camera on the lockscreen. When I swiped up on an app shortcut, a security lockscreen would show up (in my case it was a pattern lockscreen). After entering the pattern, I would go directly to the app that I selected.
Don't see that setting option on 4.3.
Basically, I have a lot of widgets available for my homescreen, but extremely few for the lock screen. Is there a way to enable certain widgets to work with the lock screen? Or some way I can customize lock screen widgets? I'm running T-Mobile Z3 stock 4.4.4.
Id like to know that too.
I recently got the AT&T OTA Lollipop upgrade. Everything is fine, but I have an app that rotates my wallpapers from an RSS feed. The problem is I use my phone at work, and some of the wallpapers can be NSFW.
Is there a way to make the lock screen completely opaque, not just translucent which lets people see my wallpaper? Or better yet, is there a way to set the lollipop lock screen background to something completely different to hide the phone's wallpaper?
I tried different lock screen apps, but that made me have to unlock my phone twice. I rooted and switched to Cyanogenmod 12, but it didn't do what I want it to do either. Any help?
Hello, the notification edge panel where the weather is displayed used to work for me.
But after the lollipop update is just keeps saying, "Tap to add weather info." Which is weird because I have my location on and everything on to have the weather be able to show up on the edge panel.
It used to work fine, I don't know what to do?

Place your samsung weather widget on your screen, allow it to find your location and it should display the weather. After that u can delete the widget

Does it still follow your location automatically? I hate that it doesn't show current city and can't lower the refresh time, or have a auto refresh when swiping to the weather edge screen.
Someone needs to put a awesome weather edge panel out in the Samsung store.

I have been trying to to add some widgets to the lock screen but cannot see the option do so. The main idea is to display the alarm along with the native clock icon and see the calendar events without having to unlock the device. I treid next lock screen but the behavior seemed a bit weird and I would like widgets on the stock lock screen itself. Is there a way to do so?

Nope, no way to do that unfortunately. I don't think lock screen widgets have been a feature since 4.2

do u know of any 3rd party locker that would work perfectly with the fingerprint unlock and replace the stock locker?
