Does anyone have the .tar files for the brand new T-Mobile MM update ? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note5

I want to flash the brand new T-Mobile Marshmallow bootloader and modem in Odin, but I can't seem to find any thread that has some available to flash through Odin ?
I'm gun-ho to test out some of the new MM ROM's, but need to update my firmware to the new MM base first.
Anyone ?

They aren't out yet.

Plz plz am new to this so plz.. Direct me to files needed to download.

LOL I thought you wanted the rom for customization reasons lol. I can't wait till the custom rom guys get it.
I also restored with Odin.... To COKC..... Then requested the update..... After it is updated. Download the newest Sky high Kernel and also Super Su 2.71 beta. Move them onto the phone.
Download the newest twrp Recovery and flash it through Odin, then boot into recovery flash the kernel and then SuperSU and your rooted. Pretty easy.

To properly odin back, did you wipe everything in TWRP? I usually wipe data, system, internal, and cache. From there go to Download mode and attach the pit file as well as the COKC firmware. You should be able to hit start and reboot fine. That's exactly what I did. If it still doesn't work, you might be able to go to Recovery after the flash and factory restore/reset.

Thanks for the reply

This should have the official Odin firmware for MM for the N920T. rather than going back to LP I'd try this.

To install this you don't use odin, all you use is a TWRP recovery to restore the backup system I've provided. this will work with any note 3 which soc is an Snapdragon 800 (NO EXYNOS)

done,
I am reading the source http://bbs.gfan.com/android-7838674-2-1.html , seems like it is for 16Gb HK note 3 , I am worried that there will be some kind of partition problem, and data corruption .
overall seems the same to me, app that crash still crash. hopefully the wifi/bluetooh are less buggy .
Probably need a few days to try it before issues pop up.
Works on n900t with wifi fix thx

I will not touch this even. If some1 have lolli from bln8 thry stay on new pit so not bad, but if some have 4.4.2 or older its not the best idea to use that mix of firmware and pit. Will looks like stable but never get fully performace. Mix of hk firmware+old pit=no **** way
Btw good to see ppl with n9005 hk version can get lollipop by this pack.

[Guide][Receive OTA after root][keep apps/data][GT-I9500][5.0.1]

a lot of users are having this problem and if you want to receive an OTA you have to flash the stock unrooted firmware that will cause lose of data.
this guide will show you how to receive OTA again without losing your stuff
This works on GT-I9500 ONLY! (Lollipop 5.0.1 Recovery)
This also should work on any other model, but you have to replace the recovery with your model!
Steps:
1- Go to SuperSU and scroll down to "Full unroot" then reboot.
2- Download This file to PC and extract it.
3- Go to download mode by pressing the power key + home key + volume down key at the same time, then press volume up.
4- Flash the file via Odin (AP) or (PDA)
go to check the system status, you will find it Official
you can now receive OTA.
Q&A:
What is OTA (Over The Air)? Its an update which you can receive over wifi or mobile data.
What do i get from OTA? Well, if you root your device you wont be able to receive an update again, unless from flashing firmware via Odin.
- Why im still on custom status? Because you modified your system.
- What kind of modifying? Installing busybox, editing or deleting or changing any app or file system.
and some times xposed.
- How do i restore the old app? You can restore them by flashing firmware or by restoring Nandroid backup.
- Then what is the use of your guide? Well my guide helps in first place the rooted not the modded onces.
and always do Nandroid of the original system apps+data
you are still having your apps, data, pics, vids, etc...
you can root again at anytime.
check my thread for rooting if you want
im not responsible for any bricks
thank you...

At some point the update maybe canceled, because the update checks for the apps before the installation, always do a backup of your phone then remove what you want, after you want to update just restore the system folder from the backup

do i need to do anything special (Such as flashing stock COI5) first?

Problem with network

Hi all.
I bought galaxy s6 last week with android 5.1 (Network was still working). Next day I flashed stock android 6 with odin and then I flashed recovery, I rooted, flashed new modem and I installed Pure stock extra lite ROM. All worked, except network.. I can see that I have signal but when I try to call someone it shows "Not registered on network". So I try to flash new Alexis ROM with new bootloader (Hacker bootloader) but it isn't better and problem is still here. Anybody know what to do with this problem? Maybe try to install stock android rom with odin? I would be really greatful if anybody can help me..

Aha, restore your firmware through 'emergency recovery' google or youtube it for instructions.
= Emergency Recovery Smart Switch for *Galaxy S6* if necessary <
EDIT: Oh your network.. I'm afraid I just can tell you to do what I told you to fix it..
It will bring you back to stock Android 6 then root it..
EDIT2: Do what I told you and repeat all the steps you done:
Root and download the ROM but don't flash any modem cuz it will bring you back to the current problem.
Remember, no modems.

Is your IMEI still ok?
I made instructions on how to use Smart Switch here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/help/how-to-smart-switch-emergency-t3383448
but it will revert you back to stock fw.
Check your IMEI/sn with *#06#
If you get IMEI null, or 3500000000006, you will have to rewrite IMEI with a box, and before that Smart Switch initialization won`t help.

Hi Mlopik,
No your phone is not lost you just need to flash the modem you had before dealing with that problem.
Was the modem you flashed in the Aroma installer?

I see.
So you flashed a modem you didn't have to use.
Usually using Smart Switch works and gets everything back as usual.
Please wait until someone knows about modems come.
Again, your phone is not lost, have patience and good luck.

Your welcome pal, I wish I can help you but modems are the last thing I will touch. Don't lose hope, try to flash modems, search for correct modem for your phone.
Good luck!
EDIT: I also recommend flashing more than 3 ROMS sometimes that helps. Try to flash XtreStoLite ROM and Terminator and any popular ROM you see. If it asks to flash modem in the Aroma installer do it, flash the latest one.

So I tried to flash all modems via odin from here ( https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=50807 ) to stock ROM with space x kernel and nothing happened Does anybody know what to do now? I can't find other modems to download
EDIT: I tried to flash many ROMs but it didn't help.. I tried to flash so many modems and problem is still same. Maybe I can try to go back to 5.1? But how? Only install 5.1 firmware from sammmobile via odin and it's all?

Yes.
Grab it from SamMobile, choose the correct firmware for your region and flash it through Odin. Tell me what happens.

No, don't flash anything.
Just go to your recovery and do a factory reset. Tell me what happens?
