Agreed it appears Sprint is holding it, maybe till they fix the OpenSSL verison. According to Lookout's Heartbleed detector the release version of OpenSSL is 1.01e. Waiting patiently.

No problem, note that I'd use the word "IF".
Is it video calling feature
I'm wondering if anyone has a link or text to the full change log. Another thread has a member saying it also resolved the wireless charging issue.

I think the dialer looks hideous the way they placed the button there. Long pressing the 1 gets you voicemail so the voicemail button is redundant. Why couldn't they just place the icon where the voicemail icon is the way Sammy does it on the international versions?

same here, i'm on sprint. is it ok to flash being deodex?
Not sure. I haven't got too deep into flashing on this phone, as there's not a heck of a lot to flash. Typically no, you would need to be stock odex and stock recovery to take an ota
Sent from my 2PQ93 using Tapatalk
me too , i have this update 2 days ago , only changes i noticed :
* my hand free stopped working with my htc a9 and now its back again
*have new app called ""HTC VIP" , but its not working in my country
@k2buckley yeah, what a shame :/ i guess i'll have to wait and see what's new with this ota. it was a pain in the arse to get all things done yet i have some issues.
I'm getting that annoying notification about the system update. I'm just rooted with twrp. What would be the best way to update?

Have a look in Post TWRP Recovery #2
chapter 8,9 and 10.
NB: Download and save the ota in your sd card (you'll find it in /data/data/com.htc.updater). You could share it for XDA members...
Cheers
was about to ask the question where i could find it, thanks kho
any feedback abt this ota?
Only thing I've noticed is we have an option for the fingerprint scanner to wake the screen and use it as a home button.
it was already there. i think it's just some improvements and bug fixes.
Receiving now: 477 mb. Probably latest security update.

I also have it downloaded. I'm looking to see if anyone has installed it yet. Besides a security update, I'm wondering what else is in the update.

Didn't ask me either. I just switched to Wi-Fi. Battery pull would work.
Settings|Developer Options there is a toggle for automatic system updates. Mine is off. But I did check manually for an update and that probably triggered it.

Mine downloaded, but I stopped the install. Worried it could complicate a potential root method. Probably nah, tho. Hope it doesn't install automatically upon restart!
I installed it and it's taking forever to pass the initial verizon screen on boot. I'll give it another 10 mins.
EDIT: The second I posted this it completed. A bit sluggish now emcompassing changes. I'll keep advised. I expect it do be fine shortly.
Same here: making me nervous.
Edit: just now fully booted. Give this at least 10-15 minutes to clear VZW splash screen.

It won't. It may pop back up but clicking install late puts it off for another 24 hrs before asking to install again.
