A modified Stock MIUI rom Request - Xiaomi Mi 4i

Greetings All...
Firstly thanks to all the devs for their awesome efforts in building the Cool Custom Roms Like Ressurection Remix, CM 13, AICP etc for Xiaomi Mi 4i.
I am opening this thread for a reuest.
Devs, can you please make a Modified Stock Miui 7 ROM with Latest tweaks and Xposed Modules for daily usage. As the ROM is very heavy and sucks a lot of battery, thats why asking to make a Debloated,Tweaked and Xposed Modules installed ROM for Daily Usage which can provide a better Miui Stock Experience....PLEASE :victory:
Make it Possible Devs...please

You can try miui rom by xiaomi.eu, it's lite and regularly updated

I have heard some roms like miui pro, sMIUI. Haven't given a try. Maybe you can and tell us how it goes

Actually i am asking for Tweaked , Deodexed Stock Miui 7 Rom.....
With mods like Pure Performance, MotherofTweaks etc pre included in it

For the most part miuipro fits your bill. It's heavily debloated, with some added tweaks here and there, but i'm not too sure if they have the mods you want. I've been using it for a while and I find it fits my needs better than the custom roms, both in terms of performance and utility.

like i said, it fits my purposes and i have been on it for a while. if you compare it to the stock bloated roms its quite different in terms of battery and performance. against custom CM and RR roms it may not have as many options for customization. it fits the bill better for someone who wants a stable rom.

is the battery life and stability better than RR or CM roms?

U should try this www.smiui.net..ive been on RR and cm13 before, but i reverted to this..you wont regret...

No, I have not used any other kernels. The ROM is just too smooth. And even though the battery life is exceptional, I also used DS Battery Saver, and my battery life went about flat line when in airplane mode or off.
Go for CM12.1 by Sultan if you need a smooth and fast experience + good battery life.
I would suggest Euphoria CAF-LP ROM (AK version) with Renderkernel R7. Superb combination.
I would use the latest cm12.1 snapshot.
Good battery lifetime and a fast ROM

My mi4c is slow and laggy , suggest me a ROM

Hi guys, my phone is slow and laggy , I have flashed so many Roms ,RR, AICP,LOS,XOSP,FLYME,MIUI.EU. but still I don't know what is the best one for MY mi4c 2gb ram version,,, I wanna stable ROM for daily use , please suggest me a good one,, now I use MIUI,EU 6.12.22
You wont find any better. It is just the hardware showing its age. If you were not satisfied with RR or XOSP in terms of smoothness I don't know what will.
Try MIUI Pro. Google it.
Its smooth but not battery friendly, although some reported good battery life.

I flashed cm 13.1 today , the camera is terrible , yeah i will give xosp another chance
I also have 2GB RAM version, and that is the problem. Fastest ROMs for me are CM13 TS and official LOS 14. But yes, you will sacrifice camera quality vs. MIUI.

Official CrDroid 4.1 on Mi A1

Hey, has anyone used Official Crdroid 4.1? How is it? Is it stable? Have bugs been fixed on latest build? How is battery life with CrDroid Stock kernel?

Nice.
What about battery backup? Are u using any custom kernel? How is battery life on stock crDroid kernel?
Subtract 20 minutes from SOT as I had just started charging from 4%.
Amzing battery life with tons of customisation. I prefer crDroid over RR and AEX.

Hi. please reply don't ignore.
Does this ROM have ota updates?
Screenshots are of the default launcher that comes with the ROM.
There is an option for OTA updates but I don't know whether OTA gets installed automatically or we have to manually flash it through twrp.

I flashed it and it's laggy, sometimes Ui crashes.. so isn't worth imo
UI lags alot very noticeable, just wait for the fix before updating.
DID u clean wiped your phone before upgrading
Before we start, I did clean flash.
Okay so I saw this Rom in depth.
The full screen gesture has some lag to it, not much and is not a deal-breaker.
The UI is fluent and and looks neat.
Adaptive brightness is more efficient.
It's battery efficient more than the MiUi 10 8.6.14 (I'd say around miui 9).
There are more settings in the additional settings menu(you will see it in the image attached)
Average free ram is 2.1GB.
The camera is same(if not better)
It has minimal Google apps.
Edit
Abort. I repeat. Abort
The rom is sh*t, dont download.
It was fine for 30-35 mins
The buttons are all effed up.

I´m on 8.6.19. Everything is running smooth as it should. Miui 10 is the most fluent rom ever in my opinion. Is it worth to switch back to xiaomi.eu 8.6.16? Can you tell me what additional full screen gesture they implemented in xiaomi.eu rom ?

To fix the lag, i would suggest to flash kirks kernel 1.4 for miui and freeze some stats and analytics apps using titanium.

Change to latest Kirks kernel and play with cpu governor, I recommend alucard or impulse if you want to keep battery life as stock and the lags are gone !
Is it me or quick charge is disabled?
My phone only charges max 280mA
EDIT: My charger failed seems I'm getting a new one

With Kirks kernel, GCam and stock cam work fine?
In 6.28 EU rom for whyred, Lag is successfully solved!

Suggestion: wich custom ROM?

I have under my hands a brand new S7... and basically after seeing 1.5GB ram is busy without having installed any app (so at the moment only deafault apps) and without having done nothing special (navigate in menu, check the camera, open some options) I started searching for decent custom ROM, preferibily 8.0 based.
So, any suggestions considering I'm searching for
- great battery management (I suppose it could be done with a custom rom)
- great camera management (eh...)
- no issues with bluetooth, GPS, wifi
- ... clearly the phone works to call in & out
Thanks for everyone can help in this hard decision
(the fact isn't I'm lazy... honestly I don't have so much time to test several roms)
THANKS
hey.
Didnt test this ROM ony my Galaxy s7, but with my Galaxy s6 and my Note i was on this ROM.
I was very happy with that.
Small, many features and i would say : easy to use.
U can give it a try, if you want...
Before : do a full System backup via TWRP and if you didnt like the ROM, u can easily Restore your old Firmware .

it is a beta, maybe something stable is better
Non-working/partially working features:
GPS
Wireless Display
Wi-Fi Direct
Possibly other things not listed.
I don't recommend Resurrection Remix, because it is EOL (End of Life, which means it doesn't get updated anymore)
I've used LightROM and The Galaxy Project.
I tried them both and they both were stable. I tried LightROM for a couple of weeks en currently I'm using The Galaxy Project. I've installed a lot of apps and I'm using a good amount of them each day. Never had any problems with RAM or battery with these roms.
The most stable roms are always roms that are stock-rom based.
Roms like LineageOS for example have some bugs and always will have. Last time I checked there were still some minor bluetooth calling issues, calling over loudspeaker introduces echo, volte isn't working, camera isn't as good and probably some other small things. Doesn't mean that LineageOS is a bad rom for the S7, it definitely has some advantages but if you are looking for really stable roms and you don't have a lot of time for testing and reflashing then you are safer with stock-based roms.

The galaxy project with morokernel v4.6 gave the best battery and ram management and it was a very stable rom.
Actually I'm on resurrection remix 6.2.1 the last one released in October, it has fixed a lot of bugs and it's so smooth and the battery is lasting a lot more longer than stock roms, you won't find this version on xda but on github even if he stated it was EOL but he gave it a last shot and forgot to update his thread. Good luck

It's hard to say which rom is the best, but at this moment I like The Galaxy Project the most. But this is just based on using the roms, not on stats.
Both roms run smooth and didn't give me any problems.
Flashing is for both roms are basically the same. There are some small differences but both roms describe how to do the installation. Both roms have aroma installers, so you're able to tweak your installation a little to your preferences.
The Galaxy Project offers just 1 flashable zip, which includes the rom and additional apps in 1 zip.
LightRom is split up into 2 flashable zip files, the rom itself and additional apps are separated.

Using TGP I used to get 4h to 5h on SOT and with RR more than 6h with same usual usage. For more better and smoother experience you should change the animation scales in developer option to x0.5 use it for 2 or 3 days and come back to say thanks
