You did it improperly,that's why it doesn't work...
You most likely didn't even sign framework-res.apk after recompiling.
I tried to build with latest CM framework files,but messed something up while editing. It showed Small Apps in recents,but they would FC when opened.
Thats because I messed up,they worked flawlessly on STABLE CM12.1

Alcatel tinkered with the RIL,they integrated some of their unnecessary code which makes RIL dead on Marshmallow.
And I am the person who wants CM13 most. I started building mostly to be able to get my hands on fresh builds when I want to(besides making various roms for this phone).

hi marionette installed z5 systemui but i get error 509 in play and then apk doesn't want to installed....,tried with wipe dalvik and cache but same....in newer build from cm with cm 12.1 random reboot kernel and superusermod with xposed tried to reflash everything but the same problem

Here's What i'm making....
first wipe everything then flash cm newest build then gapps,then root,then camera mod,then xposed framework wipe cache and davlik wait to boot install quick reboot apk(because my pwr button not works install xposed apk download the module Serajp Xperia LP ,open the app,go to system and turn on superuser mode and then reboot and flash the kernel cm 12.1 random rebot and then flash z5 system ui ,everything looks nice but i haven't install any apps and xposed and quick reboot are gone..... i tried with many apk but tells me App not installed ,and play store gives me error 506

I just use CM and flash the SystrmUi and reboot. Nothing wiped,nothing else installed.

Edit:reflashed without xposed flashing or anything just cm and z5system ui and works...
Apps are working good.

To flash the ROM, you have to root and unlock your phone, which might be dangerous or difficult for some of you to follow. Also, your warranty is now void. I am not responsible for dead SD cards, bricked device and more. If your device exploded in your hands without following the instruction, sorry I cannot help you and I am not responsible for any damages. You will be just fine if you follow the instruction.

I removed many apps to make Pure CyanogenMod+ light as possible, for fastest experience. I deleted live wallpapers, cm updates and more.

Pure CyanogenMod+ will come to J,Miro,E but no exact plan for Tipo, E Dual as of yet.

no, I use right apktool becasue I don't have any problems to recompile framework jar/apk (1.5.2), error occurs with apps from system/app, not with all apps but with Phone.apk allways. It's frustrating.
About Pure CM, maybe add CrossBreeder? I used seeder and it reducet lags a lot!
If I unlock bootloader, I will install your rom

Yup, seeder is a great way to increase performance, will add on next version.

I don't think that this is possible because the base of this rom is CM10, and Gimlo is based on stock rom.
Can anyone post a mini review of this rom....maybe a lil comparison with original cm10

So, I just updated my Xperia J to FXP 231 CM10. Previously, I used FXP 222. The bugs I had on FXP 222 were fixed.
Bugs on FXP 222:
1. Force close of system UI.
2. Android process is not responding.
3. Force restart.
4. Inability of using speaker during a phone call.
So, after using FXP 231, all the bugs are fixed. No more force close of system UI. And the speaker phone can be used during an active call. Of course, it's much faster than the previous version. Nearly no lags. (so far). Smooth scrolling. Opening apps in a blink. I don't know about games. ( I am not a gamer).
In my opinion, FXP 231 works flawlessly.
(If only guys from FXP provide a custom kernel to overclock the CPU)

Storage
To install:
- First of all, flash to stock ICS. I've tried to flash the stock JB. It worked. But the problem is, the ROM did not recognize my SIM card.
- Copy the gapps and the FXP 231 to your SD card.
- After flashing to stock ICS, flash the boot.img taken from the compressed FXP 231 file.
- Enter recovery mode. Wipe data/factory reset, wipe dalvik cache.
- Install the FXP.
- Install the the gapps.
- Reboot
The reboot process will take a bit longer.
So, if you already use the FXP 231, please drop me your review.

but, i'm downloading the stock ics rom. i guess i really need that to solve the sim problem. anyway, i flashed gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip and i think i missed a lot of things. have you tried to flash gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip? i'm just waiting for my downloads to finish and i will flash again.
edit: i flashed again the rom but this time, i used gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip. there has been an error (AOSP keyboard force close). i tried reflashing the rom with gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip but still has the same error (this time i tried fixing permissions via CWM). i tried again for the third time, and now, it's working again, fast and smooth. (i always wipe data/factory reset, and wipe dalvik cache)
now, a question. is that error related to flashing the gapps for JB4.3? i really believe it isn't. what do you think guys?

Concerning that you were flashing the JB4.3, yes, it might be the cause of error. I've tried installing gapps other than JB 4.1, my system UI stopped working.

on my first try using gapps for 4.3, only AOSP keyboard has FC and everything is okay. on my second try using gapps for 4.1, still, AOSP keyboard FC and everything is fine. on my third try using gapps for 4.1 again, now everything works including keyboard. weird, isn't it?!
anyway, i am really missing sony media apps on cm10. have you got any ways to install walkman/album/movies? thanks.

Fixed names of internal storage and sd card.
System works much better, check by yourself!
Now MIUI has it's own original keyboard which is great.
I replaced MIUI's superuser with SuperSu - people asked me fo dat.
MIUI Themes are working!
I also replaced bootanimation with beautifull one.
More free RAM.

Install Crossbreeder to make MIUI faster
This app will help you with lack of ram
And install Fluid Engine too, link is given below.
Bugs:
- Long press home shows minimalized apps, not recently launched apps like befire (not bug but should be mentioned)
- Sometimes rom may behave slowly. I do not recommend to use default browser.

How to apply theme:
1. Make an account on english xiaomi site and add it on your phone
2. Download themes using Theme app or download .mtz files from forums and place in sdcard/MIUI/themes
3. Open "Themes" and wait for "Local" section to update, then simply apply theme by clicking it

Please bare in mind that MIUI5 oryginally is made for devices with much better hardware. MIUI5 will never be as fast as CM10, not on this device.
We should have custom kernel for CM10 with all optimizations and tweaks like Xperia Arc has.
Please install this after first boot:

I can't make rom bootable, sth went wrong in last modification and now everything is messed up.
I have to pull it from my phone so you have to wait and be patient.

I don't know if it works without xiaomi account. I'm 100% sure it works with account because I've tried it.
Some themes in market cannot be downloaded because some of them are not for this rom version. But most of them should work fine.
I do not recomment to change font if theme has its own.
are you gonna do this for Miro too?

I have Xiaomi account but i prefer download manual from this site. because in xiaomi store many nice themes must pay for it

Hello Everyone!
I installed CM11 Kitkat on my Samsung Galaxy S Plus. I didn't wanted to activate the Developer's option in settings for next 5 days (Because I don't want my friends mess around). But I wanted to switch over to ART. So I had such idea that I can do this from recovery.
But I also had idea, due to my previous work with Aroma Installer, that I can create a single zip that can revert back to Dalvik also.
I found that after Factory Restore runtime is set to Dalvik again.
So I concluded that it is stored in /data
After messing around with the /data partition, I found where selected runtime is saved.
I created such a zip and I am sharing with you.
Meanwhile, when I was writing this thread, similar thread suggest showed me another tool of XDA Senior Member husen4u.
However his tool has 2 different files required to be flashed.
I did not copy his work, but runtime change code is same for all Android 4.4+, however I still give him credits, because he created similar project first.
So I present you my new tool :- Switch D2A_RT
So general idea is this tool can change ART <------> Dalvik from single zip.

Instructions:-
0. You need a Android 4.4+ ROM.
1. Download and put the zip file in any storage.
2. Go to recovery (use any recovery, I used CWM Touch 6.0.3.6).
3. Flash the zip file and navigate through Aroma Menu.
4. Choose ART or Dalvik and Reboot.
5. Rebooting can take lot of time (depending on number of apps). CyanogenMod 11 users can see "Android is upgrading" screen.

PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT FAQ if you have any questions/doubts or this software is not working.
Few common problems like incompatibility and XPOSED are mentioned there.
FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions):-
Phone bootlooping after changing runtime to ART?
=> Change runtime to Dalvik back again. Your phone (may) not be compatible.
Apps crash with ART as runtime?
=> That is not my fault. ART is in primary stage and many apps do not support ART. Switch back to Dalvik to use such apps.
Status 0 Error while flashing the zip?
=> Relax. Take update-binary of ROM of your device. Rename it to "update-binary-installer" and use it to replace its counterpart from zip.
Runtime is not changing to ART?
=> 1) Uninstall Xposed Framework, Reboot. Then try again. Xposed and ART don't work simultaneously.
Or_2) Check if "libart.so" and "libart-compiler.so" are in /system/lib. If they don't exits, ROM is not compatible with ART.
Or_3) Open "/data/property/persist.sys.dalvik.vm.lib" with text editor and find what is runtime.
You stole XYZ's (XYZ is example person's name) work.
=> I sincerely tell you, I didn't do that. I discovered this on my own after scanning all files in /data.

I tested this on my SGS+ GT-I9001 with CM11. Both functions work. However there might be some minor GUI/icon/picture size errors.
But main functions of this work fine.

SO say if the option to switch to ART is not shown in the developer options (d801 LG G2) could this still be used? Or are OEM's able to fully remove ART instead of disabling the option?

I've been curious about this new runtime for a little while, and I actually tried to switch it in my Gummy 4.4.2 ROM on my Note II i605. There is an option within the ROM to choose between Davlik and ART, but it apparently doesn't do anything because every time I check it, it's back to Davlik. I'm going to download and test this! Slow day at work...

Nice man.. I had this idea floating around in my head for a while, even posted it to google devs.. I was to get them to run at the same time art first then delvik after the initial launch swith after the at
rt has optimized the apps then over to delvik to keep any lagging scripts from slowing load times between app lauches..

This can be used without enabling Developer Options.
But compatibility of ART Depends on your ROM buddy. Please read the FAQ. There are 2 files mentioned.
If OEM removed "libart.so" and "libart-compiler", then ART is fully disabled.

It can work in all Kitkat based phones. So it must work on your Motorola Defy CM11.
Just 2 .so files (Their names are in above comment and in FAQ) are required.

ART is feature of Android 4.4.x. It doesn't matter wheather it is stock or custom ROM.
It should work. Do you have "libart.so" & "libart-compiler.so" in /system/lib? If they are there, that is not removed by OEM,
Then it must work.

It takes half or max 1 second. Your Samsung Stock ROM may not be compatible with ART.

Download xboost and open the xboost base zip then go to system/app and extract GoogleContactsSyncAdapter.apk
Set rw-r--r-- perimissions and reboot device then it will be available
I just installed this ROM. So far no problems and a great experience. And yes - it is fast!
After some testing I am still impressed by the speed. However, I had to return to my previous backup. The reason: "SIM Tools" have been eliminated from this ROM, an app I need on a daily basis for my providers mobile money function. I tried to bring the app back via Titanium Backup, but I failed on 3 attempts.
@TheBrainCandy if you consider to do an updated version anytime soon, please include the rather small "SIM Tools".
Other than that, I like the Apex launcher, however, that way I am loosing some very convenient widgets from the stock launcher which I couldn't bring back: (1) the dual SIM supporting widgets (2) the quick settings widget which in my case offers highly useful shortcuts given the XE's small screen as I do a lot of tethering switching between the 2 SIMs on a daily basis.

thanks For letting me know and about SIM Tools i'll put it back next update and about the launcher if you want the stock back just install if from the aroma menu other than that stock widgets hard to make them work on Apex or any other launcher but you can have some quick settings with Android Tuner or any similar app

I fully agree after trying to bring the widgets back myself. Installing both launchers actually kept my phone from booting. If I had just the SIM Tools working I would be a happy camper keeping the stock launcher.

I did that only ... but the problem was there. anyhow, this rom probably would not work with 2.1 ftf coz i was stuck in a bootloop ..

i still dont know whats the difference between C1604 and C1605, maybe 3.1 ftf not compatible with c1604
and i tried installing the rom based on 2.1 and everything works fine. btw my phone is the C1605
i even tried installing c1505 firmware on my phone and wifi and everything work well except no sim detected :silly:

I have changed the launcher with Holo Launcher HD and i have installed Holo Locker because the launcher included in the zip is slow.
