Cant find the stock firmware for my phone sgs6 g920fxxu3cpa1 - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey, have been playing around with my s6 for a while now and decided to install twrp recovery in order to get a custom rom. my phone have been rooted for about 3 months and i decided to install twrp via odin. after the installation my phone went into bootloop, and i started to look for stock firmware to my phone, i found one from sweden (where i live) and i worked, the phone was alive again. after i got the phone up and running again i noticed that i had installed a firware with a different baseband, my phone have g920fxxu3cpa1 and i used G920FXXU3COL1, and now when i am trying to root my phone with CF auto root, it wont grant me root acces and i cant install twrp, if i try it puts me in a boot loop and says: Kernel is not Seandroid Enforcing
i am thankfull for all the help i can get

solved this myself, dont know how to delete the post. please delete this

Galaxy S6 Unable to boot into TWRP recovery

..
you asked the same question I was going to ask....hopefully someone replies to you, I'll keep asking around the interwebs for a solution I already asked Max Lee and still no reply. I'm rooted too (cf auto root) but i want twrp just in case.
I'm trying for 2 days for my 920i and I ha e twrp now I flashed 920f and boot fine!

I'm using G920I Australia version.
I can successfully root using CF-Auto-Root.
But I can not get into TWRP recovery after I flashed that (tried both versions of the recovery) using odin. It stops at the first screen (samsung logo). I tried using adb commond reboot recovery and the hardware key (volum up+power+home), both of them do not let me in to the custom recovery.
I had tried enabled knox before flash TWRP, which made it into boot loop. And then recoveried using the official firmware. Now I can only get into the official recovery.
Any suggestions for how to get into the TWRP?
BTW, how to backup the pit file using adb? On previous models it was mmcblk0, but Galaxy S6 seems to have changed the memory map to sda1, sda2, etc.

I got the 920i Aus version too. I was told two different things.
Update firmware to AOD1 and flash TWRP and it should work.
-or-
Use the 920t as jah2110 says. I would find the file from somewhere more 'reputable'.
Downloading a AOD1 firmware now from sammobile which is awful slow. First one I tried to flash gave me fail in odin so im trying a different one.
Stuck at the Samsung logo after trying to flash the recovery via twrp app, now it doesn't even boot normally. so if you want to install twrp don't use the app, G920I telstra version
Just flash an AOD1 firmware or more. The new zealand firmware for instance and then twrp is gonna work.
If you are stuck after flashing twrp on the australian firmware just flash root using odin and you will be able to start your device again

really? i didn't know that, anyway, if you want to update/reinstall the stock firmware, sammobile is so bloody slow, i deem it unusable, so i found this gem, much faster than sammobile, i downloaded at 1.3MB/s so it takes just over 20 minutes for the whole firmware. http://galaxys6root.highonandroid.com/galaxy-s6-stock-firmware/ give it a try if sammobile just pisses you off.
Yes it took me a few days to figure it out and everyone kept saying that twrp should work ...but thats just a matter of firmware version.
So is there a fix? I can get root but TWRP just sites and the boot screen.
I've been in the same situation using a Aussie Voda 920i, I was able to root using CF auto root but then had deep sleep issue & couldn't install TWRP. Now i've installed the singapore firmware & also got TWRP running but cant root.
If I use ODIN to root its gets stuck on logo screen & If I use TWRP it appears to go OK but just doesn't work. Also although CPU Spy says I am getting deep sleep battery life seems awfull
Twrp gave me the boot screen for infinite as well. I live in Alaska. I had to reflash root file to boot. Never got twrp to work. I tried to flash via app. I don't even want more possible headache flashing it with Odin.
Surely if you've got root you can install twrp from the app store and let it replace the recovery.
Same issue
I had exactly the same issue, flashed TWRP from a reliable source and my phone bricked at start up logo screen, could only get into download mode, once i did that i reflashed with ODIN and autoroot file and phone came back alive. Thank god.

Tried to install TWRP from official APP, said it installed recovery successfully would you like to attempt reboot and get into recovery, got stuck again at boot screen LOLLLL awesome...... piece of ****ware.
Same for me G920F. I tried twice both failed.
First time use this thread The phone was successfully rooteded. I installed "TWRP Manager.apk". It cause phone infinitely reboot.
Then I restore the stock ROM (you won't know how painful to download the 1.5G+ ROM).
Second time, I rooted again. And tried use freshily (?) to manually install an img in sdcard. It said success and reboot. But it stayed in boot logo.
I restore the stock ROM again (but the kies3 needs to download ROM again!).
I will not try a third time unless there is an right answer.

btw, the first one say 'oem unlock' must be checked. But I do not have this option, maybe because my phone is unlocked already (not binded to any one).

This only happens when you fail to force the reboot into recovery yourself.
If you let the phone reboot automatically after flashing, it will be stuck @ bootloop; so you have to be faster & hold the vol up+home+power buttons *immediately* when Odin finishes the process.
Don't bother removing the cable or waiting for the screen to change, that will be too slow.
Cant boot in twrp after flashing thru odin
knox counter trips

[q] need help! Stuck on boot logo!! Sm-g920f

I rooted my phone (regular s6, not edge) via the pingpong root method and everything was going swimmingly. I installed the twrp app from the play store and went to try and make a backup but after executing the backup it wouldn't reboot, the phone was normal as if i hadn't pressed anything. I installed twrp recovery via the app and went to reboot so I could backup manually but when I went to do so my phone wouldn't boot up. It is stuck on the GALAXY S6 Powered by Android screen.
I have seen similar posts which say to flash stock recovery via oding and re-root. However I dont have access to a windows pc at the moment and am stuck trying (and failing) to use jodin on my mac. It basically just doesn't work. I followed every step and it will not flash cf-auto root, I checked I had the right version and everything but it refuses to do anything so I am up ****s creek as they say...
Any help would be appreciated

Bootloop after root

As topic says, I ****ed up the root and now im in a bootloop, I can get into the download screen, however.. I cannot get into the recovery screen where you can reset the phone.. I've tried 4 different firmwares and none of them works with odin. I live in Sweden and has Telia as a carrier if it matters. Please help me. I'm kind of panicing right now since this phone cost me over $1000
I have the "SM-G920F" And was using Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
Don't flash a ROM using Odin, use TWRP.
Get the latest version, enter download mode and flash TWRP.
Reboot into recovery, do a factory reset and flash the ROM via TWRP.
Don't let the device do the first reboot itself, force it yourself immediately after successfully flashing TWRP (see info on above linked page also).
Good luck to you, don't worry, i had the same prob a few days ago; your phone's not bricked.
I had the same problem few days ago.
Just flash TWRP and go to recovery mode and flash custom ROM via TWRP if you still want it.

[Completed] Lg g3 700 fastboot mode started when going to recovery

Hello I hope someone could help me.
I have an lg g3 D855 international version, with kit kat 4.4.2 and its the 10e version.
I've root my device in order to install new custom rooms. At first I wanted to go to android marshmallow official and wanted to do the flashing with lg flash tool, but in every computer I have, it does not working, its either stuck in 2% and then it fails, or 4% and then it fails, and I tried to erase an install the new drivers and the old ones in the computer... But I couldn't get it to work. So I decided to root my device, and install twrp recovery, so I did. First I try to install the latest version of twrp, this I did it directly from the phone via TWRP manager. It was supose to work... But when I finish installing and went to recovery.. It went to a black screen saying "[700] fastboot mode started" or sometimes "[760] fastboot mode started" to my surprise the phone is not softbrick. I removed the battery and then reboot the phone and it works... But everytime I go to recovery or tried to install a new bump recovery... Because i thought that was the problem is still the same. I tried to install a new recovery with ADB but when I put the file path in order to install it... It said it couldn't find the recovery img in the path... But it was there... And I tried, but couldn't get it to work. I have some experience with custom roms on samsung galaxy s3, but change my phone, and this lg g3 is really making me crazy.
Thank you very much in advanced.

Need help getting back to stock firmware

Last night i tried to root my phone. I installed twrp, supersu, and everything needed, but supersu was not working and put my phone in a bootloop. I got out of that and tried to restore my phone to before i did anything, but it wouldnt let me. I then stupidly installed crDroid, which worked, but now i cant get any cellular service, which defeats the purpose of having a cell phone. I wiped my phone and tried to install a stock firmware multiple times that was correct for my phone, but that didnt seem to work in twrp either. I tried to adb sideload, but i'm too stupid to even get the right file name for the stock firmware? i need seirous help so i can have my phone back. I dont even want to root anymore.

When you're rooting stock, remember do not wipe cache and dalvick partitions after root and before first boot

Flashing Firmware
http://forum.xda-developers.com/2015-moto-g/general/index-moto-g-factory-firmware-images-t3169639
here you can find the firmware and download it(size will vary but greater than 600Mb).If you cannot find firmware just pm me and i will give you the correct link.
Procedure for flashing -->
http://forum.xda-developers.com/2015-moto-g/general/guide-fastboot-flashing-factory-t3187750
will installing super su use version
https://download.chainfire.eu/751/SuperSU/BETA-SuperSU-v2.62-3-20151211162651.zip?retrieve_file=1
You cannot just flash SuperSU on stock marshmallow, it will boot loop you. What you need to do is, go into advanced tab in twrp and enter the terminal and write this before flashing SuperSU zip
echo SYSTEMLESS=true>> /data/.supersu
This will move root to data and avoid the boot loop

Use the supersu version attached in this link.
