Please help!!! - Asus Transformer TF700

I have a tf700 and when i bought it it was already unlocked and rooted running on a rom. i think omni but it was only kitkat. i wanted to update to omni lollipop but after install through twrp 3.0.2 it goes to the omni boot animation and then reboots. What did i do wrong. i cant restore from my backup either

ok i figured out the boot loader needed to be updated then reboot the system. i wasnt rebooting after the install of the bootloader. next problem is when i installed the bootloader it downgraded my twrp to 2.6.1 now i cant seem to update it. i have no experience with fast boot any help would be greatly appreciated.

Got it i found a video showing how to update using terminal emulator. installed the new 5.1.1 omnirom and it gets through the optimizing apps then blank black screen. i can hold down the power button and that menu pops up but theres nothing else

[Q] Blue screen after attempting CyanogenMod update from 10.1.3 to 10.2 daily

Hi,
After enjoying a successful CyanogenMod install of the stable 10.1.3 I tried to update it with the Dec. 1 daily. I had planned to use TWRP recorvery to install it manually but after downloading it to the phone with the CyanogenMod update utility, it offered to install it automatically so I foolishly trusted it. Now I have an HTC One S in either a boot loop or displaying a fuzzy blue screen. I cannot get to TWRP recovery regardless of what buttons I hold down. Can anyone help?

If you have this fuzzy blue screen, it means that you are on a wrong kernel. Since it's not possible to flash kernel through recovery when istalling the rom, you have to flash it manually.
So, boot into the bootloader and flash the correct kernel. Then it should work.
And how is it possible that you can't get to recovery? When you hold VOL down + POWER, you get to bootloader and from there you can access the recovery.
same here..

I'm having the same problem, have you found a solution?
I can't evern get to bootload...
How is it possible that you can't get to bootloader? VOL down + Power should do it. Then, just navigate to bootloader and with USB connected to PC you can flash the kernel and there you go...
Thats what I thought too. But somehow, for the first day, no matter who tried it, bootloader wasn't possible. After trying several times I asked others, because there was no logical explanation to me, why it wouldn't work.
A day later, it worked, now I'm having some problems with the SD card, but I guess as soon as I have time this can be fixed too. Thanks for your help, though!
You're welcome

Damn FastBoot Mode! Not bricked... but stuck.

Hey guys! So I've had a Note, a Note 2, and now have the TMobile LG G2. All of which, I've rooted, ROMed and had my fun with, but for a week, this issue has brought my fun to a screeching halt. I hope someone can help.
I just rooted my G2 while in 4.2.2, intending to install a KitKat ROM while maintaining root access. Looking for a quick way to add custom recovery, I backed up my stock recovery using Flashify, and also using it, I installed the latest TWRP for my phone. After installation I got a black screen that says:
[830]fastboot mode started
[880]udc_start()
and I have no options. Thankfully I can just hold power to reboot my phone normally so I'm not softbricked. But I get the same screen any time I boot into recovery. And when I restored my stock recovery through flashify I got the black screen with the android mascot on his back with the red exclamation mark. I tried flashing TWRP, and Philz through Flashify and I get the "fastboot" screen again. Can someone please help? Thanks so much in advance.

[HELP THREAD] My N5 won't boot.

Hi everyone, I just bought a N5 yesterday (i was using a N4 for almost 2 years) and I unlocked my device using the Nexus Root Toolkit, flashed the latest TWRP, installed ParanoidAndroid as my main OS and everything was fine untill the next step...
I was an avid user of MultiRom on my N4, so I flashed MultiRom on my N5 and everything was fine, I even tried to flash the official MiUI as a secondary OS but i got some errors and I just deleted that listed rom, no biggies... after that I booted into PA and flashed a custom kernel.
First, I flashed Franco's using his tool, and everything went smooth. I even restarted the device like 2 or 3 times while i was installing the usual apps (xposed, changed the font etc), the problem started when I downloaded the HellsCore kernel app from the playstore and flashed the kernel, after that, every time I try to boot my device it gets stuck on a black screen, it doesnt even show the Google logo with the unlocked icon at the beginning, it just gets stuck at that point.
My guess was that the Hellscore kernel had some issues with Multirom, and I started the fastboot recovery via ADB and flashed Franco's Kernel again... nothing happened, I still got a black screen.
I tried flashing the entire rom again (PA) and the same, black screen.
I also tried installing the original TWRP (not the MultiRom modded TWRP) and guess what??? I stilll got the same black screen.
The only way to get past thu it is to disconnect my device from USB, press power for 10 secs and after that i have to press power+volup+voldown.
That gets me to the fastboot. If I try to boot to the OS from there, i get a black screen. If I try to boot into the recovery, it boots ok.
The only way to boot into ParanoidAndroid is using the Nexus Root Toolkit and using the Franco's Kernel (r57) to boot TEMPORARY into the OS.
I dont know what else can I try, can someone please give me some advice??? Please. D=
Thanks in advance!!!

[Q] Issues with recovery flashing post Lollipop update.

I have been having this issue with flashing recovery on my Nex5 ever since I installed lollipop(factory image).
I have repeatedly tried to install TWRP (2.8.2.0) on my device but it just doesn't seem to stick no matter what I try.
Each time it gets installed but as soon the the system reboots, its gone. If I directly boot into the recovery from fastboot or bootup recoveryafter flash without restarting the bootloader, the TWRP logo shows up and then the device just restarts.
Please help me out here. Really want to go back to PA4
Thanks
You probably updated to LRX21O through OTA.
Go back to 4.4.4 through factory image. Boot system once. Reboot to bootloader. Flash twrp. Using vol keys, boot to recovery directly from bootloader. Flash PA.

Phone Keeps Getting Stuck In Recovery

My phone is rooted and still running 4.4.2 with bloat removed. The other day I decided to install TWRP Manager and upon opening it up, it gave me an option to install TWRP v2.8.5.0. So I installed it and my phone would not boot back up, just stuck in TWRP. So I found this zip file LG_G3_Flash2FixStuckRecovery.zip on XDA that allowed my phone to boot back up. But now at least once a day it reverts back to TWRP and is stuck there until I install the zip again. Anyone know how to stop it from doing this?
Ive been having similar issues with my d852 and find it helps bigtime to stay away from the newest versions of twrp until they are bug free. I installed 2.8.6 yesterday and my Phone would not restart at all or it would do what yours is doing. I'm not saying that it is definitly a TWRP issue, but I am saying that once I installed 2. 8.4 the issue was gone completely. If you try going back a couple updates to an older version and it helps let me know as I'm kind of curious
HOW did you get into recovery. I got 2.8.6.1 & I do the power + vol down button thing and it doesn't take me to recovery.
