well i bricked my phone by installing twrp while phone was on meaning i wasnt in recovery or was i doing it from pc.. i was being careless and knew it was not the proper way i was thinking if anything went wrong i would be able to recover from my mistake.. well that didnt happen.. as soon as i installed twrp and phone was bout to reboot it turned off and no longer turns on.. after several days online trying to go into download mode or recovery nothing happen.. downloaded mostly every tool from lg but phone will not turn on.. it has power because if i leave phone on charger and take out battery it will show battery logo and charger.. i take it as the phone will not boot with out battery bcuz battery is fully charged.. its going on two weeks and any help would appreciated.. pc does not see phone (assuming because it does not turn on) i have lg drivers installed.. i am running linux just to let anyone know.. please can someone help me before i break this f**Kin phone.. lol

Please be patient,& Gentle with me, I'm new here,,, (TY) Hi, I have a Pantech P9060 (old I know ) Android 2.3.4 , Gingerbread( Stock Rom). It's rooted. It will turn on, load in the boot screen- and stop there, and if I touch the power/menu keys, it will start the loop acting boot process, without re-starting the phone , just continuous boot screen. I have changed the boot screen probably 3/4 times from the original AT&T screen using Jimmy Rummel apps, Rom Installer . I've tried returning back from backup, Titanium Pro, I backed up to google drive as well, but regardless I can't seem to reset to factory( which I've done before), or even update, Nothing.. It's so frustrating. I've searched these forums inside out for a solution as to not bother you guys with my old phone issues, but I have to admit, I need help with this. I don't think it's hard bricked, I'm thinking I may have flashed the wrong Rom( im not sure though) trying to upgrade from 2.3.4 .. Not positive though. I sure hope there's someone to help me here, It wont connect to the PC syncing, Pantech PC Suite, yet my pc shows the phone in Device Manager and Computer. So I'm hoping I've done something simple, :/ stupid,,but simple. Anyone help me out ? Thanks in advance.......

Hi guys, I have LG L40 for 6 months and successfully rooted from xda tutorial.
Now I have problem with this phone that has a bootloop problem..
I have checked the tutorial how to fix it, yet it still not working on my phone..
They say I can just use volume up/down + power button to go into recovery mode, but it can't..
Then I try to flash my phone from PC, yet the step that I followed http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=36351786#post36351786 can't be practiced on my phone..
My LG logo just blinking when connected to USB cable..
And it won't charging.. It's looks an empty battery and keep restarting itself..
I don't change much on my phone, instead using xposed framework and it is only usual script like youtube adaway..
Can u guys help me?

That unbrick guide you linked was not for your device. If you flashed files for another model, you may be in trouble now.
I can't find anything relevant on XDA for your device and issue. It could be bricked. It could also have a stuck power button from your description.

So I flashed a img file on my phone using flashify and rebooted it. It since will not turn on at all. I have tried putting it into recovery mode and removing the battery. When I connect my phone to my computer it is recognized as a removable disk with the only two files being image and verinfo. I dont know how to turn my phone back on. Pls help thanks.

I have a i9063t and apparently it's hard bricked. I won this a couple months ago and it had a problem very annoying of reseting alone all the time, mostly when I was in the middle of something important. I tried to put it back to factory but it didn't fix the problem. So I tried to fix it thinking "This may be a software problem, since it has no official update, I'll put a custom rom in it!" ... Installed Odin, Kies, wiped to factory, put it download mode, connected and chose a rom that apparently worked for this device. Then something happened. Odin just crashed, and my phone it's stuck in the samsung logo. It doesn't go to download mode anymore neither recovery mode! When I turn it on it goes to the logo or the charging animation if it's plugged. Odin doesn't recognize it anymore since it doesn't go to download mode. I'm really desperate for this, is my only phone and I have no money for a new one or technical assistance (will cost me almost a new one) and I really need it (and feel pretty stupid that I've bricked it). I've tried a lot of tutorials but all of them requires download mode. I've also read somewhere that all the bricks may have a solution, some are simple, but some are funky. I really really need help here. This ! is always on top. Anything you may know is helpful, please.

Thanks for using XDA assist.
Unfortunately, when your device can not access the recovery or download mode, your phone may not be able to be repaired by the user. You may be able to use the Emergency Firmware recovery in Kies to restore your phone to stock firmware, that's only if it can detect your device. Maybe a mobile service center can restore it back to life, but they do charge quite a bit depending on where you live.
Alternatively, you can register a XDA account and post in the Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum so that someone else may be able to help you out.

So i have an android phone, Umi London.
my father used it for a while and then something happened.. after a while of trying to understand with him what happened (he doesn't know English very well, and he pressed the power button with the volume…and then he continued..)
i think that he deleted everything in the phone including the OS...
so this is the case:
the phone wont power on..
with charger, without charger, i changed the battery nothing.
tried to use hard reset, soft reset... nothing..
but i plug it in the computer and no responded from the phone... But the computer is making noise that something is plugged-in..
i cant find nothing.. on the device manager... but it making a sound of something connected.. and after 1-2 minute it disconnect..
and then repeat....
i also tried to see if maybe ADB will recognize him... (adb devices) but no luck.
So. if there is a solution.. only you guys can help me.
plz help.
im using windows 10, and all the drivers are updated (used it to change firmware and os for OnePlus1 ).
