Anybody else have this problem? Only happens when on mobile data, I've never seen it happen on WiFi. I've disabled Google's automatic backup but that hasn't helped it drain any less. Any other ideas?

I have the same issue and it is so annoying... If anyone has an idea how to fix it I would be so thankful.
I am on the same boat with SG7e
I have this bug sometimes too. The only fix for me is a reboot
Not sure why we have 2 indentical threads here

Facebook by default, uses WAY too many permissions for my liking. So i removed them. I first started this with my "Location" feature removal and then saw that there were way too many other ones that i felt were unnecessary. For instance, Write contacts, sorry, I want facebook for exactly that, Facebook. Not for managing my contacts or what not.
Yes some people like to have Facebook contacts synced with their phone contacts, if you like all the invasive "social crap" Facebook has, then do us all a favor and just leave now. This thread/app is NOT for you.
I can remove more of the permissions, but i feel the permissions that i left in the app are the minimum required for a great user experience.
Hope you guys like this! Feel free to hit thanks and donate! Keeps me motivated!!!

Cool. Thanks for that. If I enter the settings the app crashes. Furthermore there are still a process and two Facebook services running in the background even if I end the app in the task manager

Unnecessary. Just use permission manager and deny all permissions you do not like. Better than apk editing and safer.

Oops, guess i should have tested settings sorry. And yes there are going to be background services. I didn't change anything in respects to that. If you want to completely kill it then use my app killer app and get root permissions

I can not use a permission manager since I have no root permissions. Therefore it's good to be able to have your mod

ohhh.. there are default options. go to the phones main settings, data usage, and you can restrict apps to your mobile network there(pick an app, then chose restrict background data. then only when you need it to access data it will, or if youre connected to wifi).
Cool, didn't know that, thanks

OK, every time you install an app it then states ur internal storage space left!!! If I'm watching a YouTube video it pauses and same with all games!!! What the hell its so annoying that I have to replay the vid or game. And if I'm downloading a few at a time.... Oh my god its horrendous. Is there anyways to turn this off???

While installing apps from the playstore, it's common to get storage messages(toasts) if you have little space left on the device..
Not sure why it pops up while playing a game though.

Well you have 2 options. Live with the battery drain or turn off location. Unless Google foxes it in a future android update that is the only way. Also I think Googles device manager will turn on location automatically as long as it is connected to Internet.
