And for select HTC devices with Android Lollipop and all devices that receive Marshmallow, you will need to first manually enable OEM unlocking in Developer options in order to allow the bootloader to be unlocked and proceed with the next steps. To access the OEM unlocking setting on your device, open the Developer options in the system Settings.

Thanks...apparently I just read right past this and will need to be more careful Have not done HTC phone in quite awhile.
I've been trying at this for a couple days now,no success but no brick either Every phone I've owned up to this one I've been able to root and flash recoveries and custom roms as I pleased but this phone been tricky for me so I need someone here maybe to tell me my next move... So I called TMobile and I got the rep to give me a permanent unlock for my phone and I checked the Tmobile unlock app and its says permanently unlocked ...So my question now is since I cant seem to get the adb to "fastboot oem unlock" to change the device state to unlocked in the bootloader without asking me for my unlock code ,how to I get this to work? Is the next step requesting the unlock code from Oneplus because I have all the info for the form for Oneplus but don't know how to find unlock code for the form.... Help me out guys ... Thanks

You now need to convert to Int. version, you can't "fastboot oem unlock" on T-Mo version without a stupid unlock token! Follow these instructions ===> https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7-pro/how-to/how-to-convert-tmobile-op7-to-t3935947
So I called TMobile and I got the rep to give me a permanent unlock for my phone and I checked the Tmobile unlock app and its says permanently unlocked
After this, you need to enable OEM unlock. See here.
Once you have enabled OEM Unlock under developer options, the fastboot oem unlock will work.

Good evening, Hi folks...
I have htc u11 AU version and i wanted to root it and install various custom roms and kernel out there.
i realize that for my variant the htv33 theres no methd to root or unlock bootloader when googling it
so i'm trying to unlock bootloader just like other htc u11 variants method but when i trying to validate my identifier token on htcdev website it says something wrong with CID.
is there any ways to unlock BL and root htc u11 AU version?
thank you.
Hi sir,
My device is moto g 2014 titan
I already unlock a developer option but there is no oem unlocking option is missing
So please help any technique expert
I unlock bootloader for install twrp
So help
I'm not asking how, I already know that part. I have an unlocked TMobile/Sprint phone, but from reading TMobile roms are a bit different as they do thier own or modified oos.
I have checked and I can toggle the oem locking in settings. I own the phone outright but I don't have an unlocked sim. I've heard with TMobile you have to call and have the sim unlocked , which in turn let's you then toggle the oem unlock so you can unlock the bootloader.
So my question is, since I bought the phone unlocked, and I can toggle the oem unlock feature, can I just unlock the bootloader now and proceed with root or does it sim need to be unlocked too??
You have to go into fastboot to check if you have it toggled on in dev options go into bootloader and do fastboot oem unlock from command prompt it will unlock or it won't you may have to get an unlock token from one plus also TMobile locks bootloader you need an unlock token file
