ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Marshmallow. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
Don't do it if you don't know it

does this rom allows write to ext sd card for apps such as folder mount

Rom is super slick and i love it but I cant run it daily because of the bluetooth issues. It wont let me use my steering wheel controls at all. had to go back to PB1 for now Cant wait to see if it gets sorted. would love to come back and try any new builds

Weird, what is your baseband? Also, what music app are you using and are you using Viper4Android or anything.

Thanks beeko I've been rom hopping was on Resurrection remix for awhile but wanted to change it up so I'm using this rom and love it. Some things I have noticed about AOSP CM based roms on Android M is how redundant app permissions are... I honestly feel like Privacy Guard is better than stock Android M's permissions also on RR they were using SuperSu which also seems redundant since CM's privacy guard already has a root access tab. Also is there an option in this rom to check for OTA updates?

can anyone who is running this check earpiece sound while calling. I am on RR and earpiece voice is kinda crackling, works fine on touchwiz but on AOSP have this issue.
Thanks

No OTAs as I'm not an official member. But I should be releasing weekly-ish. Personally I like the new app permissions in M simply because you can choose what the app gets to access to what. Also, I would install SuperSu Beta (here), because I don't like the stock Superuser app.

Too busy jamming. This rom has the extra menu in settings like Phoenix rom or Moar rom. But cyanogenmod. I'm sticking with this one. My TiBups restored from CM13 from Haggertk. I love the sidebar and the replacement for recents you can choose. Also a pie control similar to LMT.

-Thanks for replying! Im on PB1 baseband and using "music" or "play music" and not using any additional addons at all.
-Step by step; Full wipe in TWRP, then flashing AICP then flashing gapps and rebooting
-As soon as it connects to my car Bluetooth it'll play whatever audio is being sent through but It just says "Bluetooth Audio" on my head unit. BT but wont send any track info and wont respond to any buttons and it always sends "0" BT volume by default until I turn it up.. tried restarting, both phone and car. tried clearing cache, both on phone and bluetooth app. Same result

Any advantages of using that SuperSU you linked over the stock supersu in the rom? Guess personal preference right?

Not that I can think of. I've had problems with built in superuser before so it's just a habit to flash SuperSu after.

Good stuff Beeko another hidden gem I've found in this rom is the option to hide app messages that say "unfortunately an app has stopped" This should be a feature of all Android roms! Just wish I could connect my Gear S but darn Samsung had to make that TW exclusive!

I have it installed already for a few hours and I am very impressed with this especially the integration of all the features.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of FC for me. Like almost everything would FC before i even try to open it and it happens so frequently. I would get 4-5 reports of 'unfortunately these apps have stopped' at a time. This started since the initial startup after a fresh install.
Currently I'm using with stock gapps from paranoid. Tried using the mini modular version but Google keyboard would not start up after crashing when I need to put in a wifi password. Full version manage to go through. Even as I'm writing this a slew of apps have stopped working for no reason.
Would really love to have a solution to this, because the features of the rom are just too cool. Pun intended. Salute to @oblikas !!
I'm gonna try flashing franco kernel to see if that helps.

Yes I did for TiBu, no for custom theme. But I have tried not doing it as well. Like I somewhat mentioned previously the whole fc starts even during setup. And sometimes there are random reboots and random shut down. Also once when I was charging my device got really hot until I rebooted it.
As I've said, I've tried not restoring through TiBu. But is it also causing problems just by having the app on my device as well?

Doesn't matter what app you're using, but thanks for letting me know. Like I said, the fc have been going on since startup and I have tried not having TiBu installed in the system and the fc still happens. Restoring through other methods doesn't matter anyway since every time I clean installed it'll start to fc since set up and continue on even after restoring regardless of TiBu or not. I have also tried with different kinds of gapps but still the problem persists. It's a bummer that my device cannot accept AICP, just when I thought there's some more developers support for tilapia in general. Thanks for taking the time to reply to my queries.
To the AICP team, much respect to you guys. AICP will definitely be on my watch list. :good:
Thanks for this rom Oblikas. All smooth and customised. The only other thing I added was a pie app. No FCs here except for aicp ota app. Tried with stock kernel and now using mkernel to bump up speed a bit more. Thumbs Up!
May be moving this over to an All-F2FS only setup. Awaiting merge.

24.02.2015: Important Update: I've got reports that m7 works fine on F2FS.
*** special thanx to @methana for testing !!! ***
For those who want to test it, F2FS support for m7 was merged and you'll get it with next nightly.
You should flash F2FS compatible recovery: twrp-2.8.6.4-m7univ.img (12 MB) from https://mdmower.cmphys.com/twrp-m7/
After that...
1. Do full backup of your SDcard.
2. Format data (It will ask to type "yes". Type it.) It will wipe totally everything on your sdcard. Reboot into recovery again.
3. Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> choose data. Then Repair or Change file system -> Change file system -> Choose F2FS. Wipe it as a F2FS.
4. Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> choose cache. Then Repair or Change file system -> Change file system -> Choose F2FS. Wipe it as a F2FS.
4a. /system should remain as ext4. F2FS for /system isn't supported yet !!!
5. Reboot into recovery.
6. Copy ROM.zip + GAPPS.zip.
7. Flash it.
8. Enjoy AICP with F2FS on your m7.
Nice! First!

I think it might be a CM problem, but Exchange email push notifications from the stock email app don't work properly. They only update sporadically, or when the phone is booted/email is opened. Not sure if this is a known issue. Other than that no bugs to speak of for me.

Can't wait to flash
I was getting Audiofx&Musicfx not responding when I was listening a song in a music player and tryed to start equalizer from upper right three dot menu. This was with newer pa-nano gapps-rc4..
Then I tried flash rom with pa-nano gapps-rc3,and its ok now.
Just for and info if someone have this problem.
Edit:How to set up working capacitive buttons and navigation bar...
When navigation bar is enabled in settings, capacitive buttons stop working, and that is problem for me cuz i use custom kernel with s2s&s2w.
Disable navigation bar in settings-buttons.
Go into build.prop using some file explorer
In build.prop add this line qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
and then save changes and reboot phone.
All will work, buttons settings will work too

Out of thanx. Good point... :good:
First I will say that I've compiled twice in the last week and this ROM is terrific! Thank you to the dev team. Only issue came today and it may just be a fluke. Dialer hung on me while I tried to end a call and take an incoming. Screen lost the dialer and I had to reboot due to the hang. Anyone else have this occur? I couldn't get a logcat, but managed a screenshot.

I've had this same problem with my M7 since I started using Lollipop roms about a month ago - except the camera crashes as soon as I take a picture. A quick search and it looks like this is a common problem on LP. Be warned though - my phone actually stopped turning on after using the flashlight one time. Completely bricked for no reason. Had to send it back to HTC for repair and luckily it was still nuder warranty. I don't know what happened or what they did but when it came back it had a new IMEI so I think they might have changed the motherboard.

AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

Don't disable Heads-Up. You wont be able to answer phone calls otherwise.
You tell...
ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Lollipop.
Don't do it if you don't know it
ROM has gapps persistance in between dirty flashes
KERNEL:
Kernel in this rom follows CM source with custom additions.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.
If you want to contribute to the AICP or wanna see what is being worked on/merge feel free to visit our gerrit, link is at the bottom!!!

Clean Install needed !!
Is there anyway to make the audio louder? Every time I play music or a video, its really low even at the max volume. I use my phone to play music since my truck's stereo system doesn't work correctly and I can't hear anything when I play something.
Is this where I have to find KLTESPR versions of this? Or will you be including SPR in your unified thread?
Thanks in advance!
This is the right place, just because of not much response, I did not build any further test builds. Will start new one's...
Here is a fresh build, with Boeffla Kernel powered. Thx to Lord Boeffla for his work on this.
You get most of the features with the build in kernel auditor, but to get the full advantage of the kernel, I recommend the Boeffla config v2 app. aicp_kltespr_lp5.1-9.0-UNOFFICIAL-20150410.zip

Couldn't get passed the Checking connection... Screen for some reason. It's the same issue I had when trying to Flash the SOKP rom. It just sits there forever. Also, why does it ask for a sim? The SPR version doesn't use a sim card.
I did a complete wipe of everything Flashed it, and GAPPS, wiped cache. then rebooted.
Thanks!
On which Rom did you not face this problem, so I can have a look what they maby changed?
I tried the 4-10 build and install went fine. the only thing is i cant get service no matter what. funny thing is right after a reboot on lock screen it shows sprint for like 1 second then goes to no service, service icon has ! in it for a second then just empty icon till next reboot then it does the same. the last build i had working everything was 3-29 test build.

I haven't had an issue when running Blisspop, or Resurrection Rom. I also ran Lick Me Pop for a while.
Also ran your KLTE build some.
Also @montecarlo5 You might need to go in to the APN settings, and click one of the options and it'll reset your APNs. I've been having that issue on the latest AICP KLTE build.
Thanks! and hope that helps

Thank you for the suggestion! But that didn't work, neither did putting APN in manually. They wouldn't even save. I'll just have to wait for it to be fixed by the awesome dev.

Yeah. It worked for around a day then just stopped. It made me sad. Right now I'm on MOAR simply so I have the most stable available.
You might need to switch to a TW room and refresh your prl and profile real quick?
I know that that would fox issues for a while

5.1 rolling out
installed the 4-19 build earlier today and runs nice and smooth but for two bugs that i have. all done on a clean install and no apps installed, after rebooting the phone (not every reboot) i have no data but can make phone calls, i have to go into settings and either turn mobile networks off then on or go into apns and pick any in there and it will automatically switch back to sprint with data. also ad blocking isnt working after a reboot either. i think root access isnt retained after reboot or root isnt implemented correctly. both arent big issues to me just wanted to give a heads up from my view.
Installed the 21 update. Could only get data to stay if i didn't connect to wifi. Once i did i would lose data and have to go to the apn setting and manually select the correct one

Flash twrp with Rashr app from Play Store, then try DR. I'm not sure how well it works with these kernels but at least it should flash OK with twrp.

It depends on the gapps package that you flashed. The rom has the AOSP keyboard. If you have the google keyboard it comes from your gapps.

What rom do you use? AOSP and CM based roms all should have the AOSP keyboard included but some gapps packages replace it with the original google keyboard. If you don't want to reflash your rom, you can try this:

CyanogenMod (pronounced /saɪ.'æn.oʊ.dʒɛn.mɒd/) is an enhanced open source firmware distribution for smartphones and tablet computers based on the Android mobile operating system. It offers features and options not found in the official firmware distributed by vendors of these devices.
Features supported by CyanogenMod include native theming support, FLAC audio codec support, a large Access Point Name list, an OpenVPN client, an enhanced reboot menu, support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB tethering, CPU overclocking and other performance enhancements, soft buttons and other "tablet tweaks", toggles in the notification pull-down (such as wi-fi, Bluetooth and GPS), app permissions management, as well as other interface enhancements. CyanogenMod does not contain spyware or bloatware. In many cases, CyanogenMod may increase performance and reliability compared with official firmware releases.
CyanogenMod is developed as free and open source software based on the official releases of Android by Google, with added original and third-party code.

This is a fresh(er than the rest) CyanogenMod 11 build for the pico by me. The ROM is smooth and relatively bug free, perfect to be used as a day to day usage stable OS.
I will be maintaining 4 different release channels for this ROM. Two stable channels - one each for CM11 and CM11S, And two beta testing channels with the same layout. Beta testing channels will see more updates but can be relatively buggy and unstable as compared to the stable releases.
As the first upload, Here is the CM11-stable-release1.zip
the stable CM11S build will roll out as soon as I'm able to fix constant FCs with some apps included exclusively on the CM11S release.
Features:
1. Slimmed down version for ample space in /system for Gapps
2. Init.d support
3. Theme Engine
4. Customizable QS Panel
5. Heads up Notifications
6. Compatible with Xposed
7. Rooted with SuperSU (v 2.49)
8. Caller ID bug from @kirmaniarslan's CM11 builds fixed
9. Stagefright safe
10. 878 MHz safe OC with no NAND burn risk

1.4 Optional Applications - AudioFX, YU Theme, Great Freedom Theme, Baton, Boxer Mail, Themes Showcase
1.5 Sweep2Wake and non-Sweep2Wake kernel options

I use it with TWRP 2.8.0.0 and it uses the same kernel source as PAC ROM KK RC-3, so it shouldn't have any problem with 2.8.5.0 . Just make sure you do a super clean flash coz the kernel's really really picky about flashing. Actually he's been giving me a lot of attitude lately, so it's up for a change. Maybe I'll just use @abhi_qwerty's kernel which he compiled for PAC ROM.

Well, GApps is still somewhat of a problem. I tried YourZGapps XS and it removed the quick settings toggle from the notification drawer. TK GApps shows a setup wizard that just force closes and does not let me use me anything. I'm hearing Banks GApps is really good, will have to give it a go. I'll let y'all know soon.
P.S. If nothing works, I'll show you all how to manually place files and set perms through a YouTube video over on my channel. That's how I am using it.

Cool. Btw GApps have been uploaded, I'm testing Mini Gapps package now. Would appreciate if you test the other one. And also please post the review, whenever you do it, on the reviews section if possible.

Ok I will try . Although am using my pico as a daily driver and happy to see some development again
I have a question about recovery which recovery you recommend with this ROM
Edit1: btw what are the main difference between your mini gapps and other one (gapps kk)
Edit2: got it about recovery sorry for bothering you

TWRP 2.8.0.0 or higher is required. I did a F2FS compatible version over in the PAC ROM thread you can try that too. About GApps packages, Mini GApps is the newer one.
Mini GApps is a no go guys. Have myself staring at the bootanimation for 20 minutes now. The bootanimation has slowed down though, indicating that something's happening in the background, but other than that, nothing is happening. Will update y'all if there's some change.
Edit:
Both Gapps packages don't work. I'll upload a YouTube video soon.
