Hi,
Can someone help me. I just made trwp mode wipe de idol 3 5.5 6045K, after reboot it stuk on initial screen.
I enter on recovery mode and the only way the mobile is recognized do use "adb" commands is on "adb sideload". If I try to install from this mode like "adb sideload package.zip" it fails on signature authentication (with several packages). I try to use alcatel Mobile Upgrade Q 5.0.0 but also fails at 20% when it check the latest version with message " you mobile already have latest version".
Can some one help me to install a new rom?
THANKS !!
Regards.
MM
ok if you flashed twrp make sure it was the right version for your phone.
if you flash the 4.7 version of twrp on the 5.5 you will not load into recovery and vice versa.
if that isnt the issue please explain further.
i am a newbie to this rom stuff .
also you should be able to place the rom on the sd card and flash it using twrp.

Hi DallasCZ.
Thank you for your suggestions.
Yes. I wipe system and data.
This is 6045K dual sim, no support for sdcard. Both positions on slot are for sim cards.
My problem are since the device are on initial power up, when I select power and vol+ at same time device becomes on a basic menu and on that stage I´m not able to enter adb commands. The only choice is enter on "adb sideload" but it fail in signature verification.
Any Ideas to workaround this issue?
Regards.

i have a basic twrp menu, to wipe, install (form sd or from internal memory), and adb sideload.
Since device is not recognized to upload anything on internal memory and SD card is not available on this version (6045k dual dim). The only chance is use adb sideload, but it fails to uplodad firmware on signature authentication.
There is any way to upload something to internal memory in this stage? There is any firmware available that pass on adb sideload signature authentication. There is any tool to "format" device any install the basic and from there use Alcatel Mobile upgrade?
Again, Thanks for help me.
Regards.

Ok you might try a micro usb thumb drive or a otg cable or card reader to get the files you need.
Newegg sells a usb/micro usb thumb drive that might work.
Not 100% but twrp should treat the drive just like a sd card.
If not you will have to flash a rom using a pc with the proper drivers.
If not detected by pc you will need more help.
Good luck.

Dear XDA community,
I installed Clockwork recovery and the USB drivers. The device is unlocked and when in fastboot mode it is correctly identified by my PC as falcon XT1302 with an USB connection. When in recovery mode, the device appears as "Android" in the devices menu in Windows 7 and there is a yellow "!" next to it. Unfortunately after formatting system and deleting the cache as per instructions the device won't boot up. I'm stuck at the bootloader unlock warning screen. I can access fastboot mode and recovery mode but that's it.
I want to place the cyanogenmod zip inside the internal SD card of the Moto G but adb doesn't work. I get the device not found error when inputting a command. adb devices returns a blank. I don't know which drivers to install or what to do. I've tried various fixes on forums but none work. Maybe USB debugging is the problem although I distinctly remember switching it on. In any case, I can't boot so I can't change the settings.
All I want is a way to place the cyano .zip in the phone /sdcard so that I can install it. I'm all out of ideas. USB mounting doesn't seem to work. Neither does sideloader (or maybe I messed it up?) I am at wit's end.
I didn't have anything important on my phone so I did not make a backup. In hindsight, this was a stupid mistake. I've certainly learned a lot during the install attempt.
If possible please give step by step instructions. I am not a very technical person. Any help would be greatly appreciated. pls halp
kind regards
Dont worry too much if you can acces Fast Boot just download STOCK Firmware for your version I can't post links cuz im beginer searc under help "Restore STOCK Firmware" and flash it. :fingers-crossed:
Reply here i will tell you how if you not fixed it alredy
Thanks but that's not really what I want to do. I want to flash cyanogenmod on it.

Thanks to the users who replied. I've managed to solve the problem.
Would have been faster though to get your device recognized while in recovery. You can install the driver manually and it should work. Just search for seperate driver files and ignore the Windows message that it is probably 'not compatible etc.'.
Then your device is connected properly and you can get ADB sideload to work from your recovery.
Hi all,
I've received my Xiaomi Mi4c today and tried to install CM 12.1 from here :
http://www.teamsuperluminal.org/mi4c-cyanogenmod-12-1/
I think I've bricked my device, because when I tried to install the new ROM it failed, with an error that there is no OS install, are you sure you want to reboot and now I've got a device that doesn't boot or start...
I think it can connect to the PC but I don't have drivers for it... even if I have is there a way I can restore it to MIUI default ROM?
Please help..
Edit: I've deleted the ROM I had on the SD, so I ahve access to TW Recovery but I don't have anything on the phone... is there a way I can copy a file over and flash it again?
In twrp, go to mount tab and then mount your storage while connected to your PC and transfer the ROM over
Hi ermacwins,
Thx for helping!
I couldn't mount my external SD card, however I've sideloaded a stock MIUI ROM on the device. When I try to flash it I receive the following error:
zip signature verification failed 1
When I untick the zip verification it just fails.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

You have the following possibilties:
Download a fastboot rom and flash it with MiFlash tool through your PC.
Or download a Rom from Xiaomi.eu or sMIUI (you can also use CM12.1 or MoKee). Put it in your phones storage and flash it in TWRP. But before you flash it, wipe cache, dalvik, data and system. Then flash it. If you get an error, just reboot again to TWRP and flash it a second time, but this time without wipes.
You see, you can easily recover your phone

Press volume down + power for 4-5 seconds it will force reboot to fastboot mode then u can flash chinese stable rom and try again you must have kept the fastboot package by side so that if anything goes wrong you can get back to working stock rom

Power off your device, then press POWER + VOLUME DOWN button together until you see the fastboot logo
Connect the device to a pc with (fastboot/adb drivers installed)
Download a TWRP recovery for the device and boot it with the following command:
Code:
fastboot boot mi4c_recovery.img
Then you will be able to wipe/flash new roms using the recovery.
well after many hours, i found the only working solution to be by adb sideload (thanks god i had twrp recovery, otherwise my phone would be completely dead). i flashed a smiui rom and all is fine. thanks for the help anyway. btw miphone tool is useless, couldn't get it to work.
can you say step by step with the adb sideload? my phone is enter in fastboot mod but not in recovery, when i keep volum up and power is starting to flash mi.com over and over again. I tried to flash Version: 6.2.25 (MIUI7) please help
Hello, I've been trying to install Cyanogenmod 12 but every time Rom Manager does nothing when I flash installation or with other options I can't go into recovery mode since it just reboots every time!
I have Sony Xperia T with Android 4.3 and I need newer version to install Pokemon Go!
I have tried many guides so pls don't post me links but just write me step by step what to do or tell me what I do wrong!
1. I have unlocked bootloader on my phone, my camera still works despite what the guide said. When I go into SERVICE in phone it says it's unlocked.
2. At this point I tried installing TWRP but to my finding I need to root my phone! Wtf there was nothing about this in the guides... But okay, I look in Internet and install KingRoot that automatically unlocks the root. Now I can install apps that require root.
3. I install Twrp, it ask me if I wanna install Bombox or something like that but I press no, I go into backup and whenever I try to do it, it does nothing. I restart the app and this time I try installation without any backup. I select the zip file of CM for my phone, select to wipe the data etc and start. But it does nothing and just freezes :/
4. I try Rom Manager, I install it try to do backup but it tells me to install something but later it says my device is unsupported?! I try installing just the Rom zip but again nothing...
Whenever I try to go into recovery mode through any apps it just restarts my phone!
Pls help I don't know what to do...

I have TWRP Manager installed, I didn't install TWRP with this before since I thought it is the same thing?!
I just tried to install it, I selected my phone then the version to download and at the end when it tries to flash I get an error that flashing was unsuccessful and it's either because I have this installed or another error occurred. Then I have option to cancel or to reboot now but if I press it then it freezes and I can only close the app.
I have clean phone with no data, it's an old one so I'm not really scarred to lose anything just wanna get that CM12.

There are plenty of occurrences in TWRP where it will show that recovery was not successfully installed. Once TWRP Manager shows you that message, close the app and shut down your device and then try to boot to recovery using the correct button sequence. I believe for your device that the correct button sequence is as follows:
Power off your device.
Boot in*recovery mode*by pressing and holding Volume Up and Power*Button*at the same time.
Release all buttons when the Sony Xperia T screen flickers and in a few seconds the Recovery screen will appear.
Give this a try.

Just to make sure, you can still boot the device normally into 4.3 JellyBean, right?
Okay, have you ever used ADB or fastboot?
Have you installed a program on your PC like
Minimal ADB & Fastboot or 15 Second ADB installer or the Android SDK?
To verify that your ADB & fastboot is installed and working correctly follow these steps:
Boot your device normally.
Go to Developer Options and verify you have OEM Unlock enabled and USB Debugging enabled.
Connect the device to your PC with the USB cable.
Once connected to the PC you should see a pop-up message on the device asking for authorization. If so, check the box to "always allow".
Open the Device Manager on your PC and look to see if your device is recognized. (if you see a yellow triangle or question mark the correct drivers need to be installed)
So, if your device is recognized and the correct drivers are installed, open a command prompt window and type this:
adb devices
If your ADB is setup and working and your device is properly recognized the command prompt will return with a list of attached devices and the serial number of the device.
This is where we need to start that way we know the ADB and fastboot environment is setup and working correctly.
Also, I was looking around the XDA Xperia forums and there are some good guides on how to do this just in case you want to read up on the subject.

Nothing more. I didn't install any other things since I have problems with Internet :/

If this is your only device you don't want to make a mistake that you can't recover from. Quick question. Which recovery did you install? Philz or TWRP?
Good job on getting into recovery. First, I would take a backup. That way if anything goes wrong you can boot into recovery and restore your backup and have a working device again. After your backup, when you install a ROM+GAPPS you will need to perform a full wipe. This includes:
Dalvik Cache
System
Data
Cache
Do not select your internal storage unless you have your ROM + GAPPS saved on a micro SD Card or USB OTG drive. If you have your ROM+ GAPPS saved to your internal storage and you wipe it you will not have an OS to install. Just be careful when selecting partitions to wipe. Let me know if you need any help.

Hi and thanks for fast reply again,
I have successfully installed Cyanogenmode which Im grateful!
But I Have a problem, I have installed gapps but when i go into phone i can only see Cyanogenmode apps and none from google! I'm running gapps installation again, maybe it will help.
After everything is okay I can wipe whole system with internal storage right? I think it switched to TWRP after I have booted into cyanogenmode successfully.

I would dirty flash the ROM + GAPPS again without wiping anything and then boot normally and see if you have your Google Apps. Also, don't wipe your system unless you have another ROM ready to install. Also, don't wipe your internal storage and your system at the same time unless you have a ROM saved on a micro SD Card or USB OTG drive. The only time you should wipe the internal storage is when you are doing a completely clean installation and you want your device to be in a fully stock new state.

If you are having a lot of apps force closing I suggest finding a different ROM to install. Maybe a stock style ROM that has Gapps built in. Try several ROM's. You may find one you like better.

You got a option in recovery to enable mtp
If you select keep read only partition them you can only read you can't format or write anything.
When TWRP starts it shows this option Keep read only partition. Many of guys check this and swipe.so they have problems to flash and wipe anything.
Connect a mmc using card reader with PC.
Copy custom ROM
Select install
Select mmc
Select file
Wait for process done
Wipe dalvik,cache
Reboot phone.
Done

I have an alcatel 6045b that's currently on eugla firmware but when i get to setup screen
It reboots
It was at lollipop at first
Then I tried to install alek os after installing twrp and unlocking boot loader
But I got mount system errors while flashing the rom
So I rebooted
It rebooted to an unknown os
Same scenario, when it gets to setup it freezes and reboots all over again
I managed to shut it down by holding power button and volume +
I also can't get to twrp no matter what I do
But I can get to download mode
Things I have tried:
Mobile upgrade q: while its working the device reboots from download mode and mobile upgrade q gives me 'download update software package failed'
I then installed the Panasonic eugla file which installed on the device but at setup screen it freezes then reboots.
But I can get to stock recovery now and download mode also.
Pls I really need help in restoring my device
Any piece of help is extremely appreciated.
Sorry for my poor English
Try again but...
If you are now able to get to download mode try flashing TWRP again but this time try a different ROM. I would recommend Resurrection Remix

So I was able to install twrp 2.8.7.0 via sahara tool
Then I copied alek os into the internal storage
Flashed the ROM
But stuck at 'Alcatel' powered by android screen
I then restored mm backup by marionette
And still stuck at Alcatel screen
Then flashed cm 12.1
Same thing
Stuck at Alcatel screen.
I'm confused.

Did you follow the entire tutorial?
I just told you which modules to follow to flash TWRP. Since you flashed a ROM, did you follow the "Wiping the Storage" and "Flashing the ROM" modules?
Also, are you using a 5.5 or 4.7? If you are using the 5.5 I'd recommend using the 3.1.1 TWRP

I'm using the 5.5 model
I'll flash the twrp 3.1 now
Must I flash the resurrection remix ROM
Or can I try alek os after wiping storage

The steps I provided should work, just flash the Alex OS ROM instead of Resurrection.
I have a semi throwaway phone so I will attempt you ROMS.
I think my SD card slot is faulty
As the twrp doesn't detect it
Is there a way to sideload the ROM into the inbuilt storage?

So when your on the install menu and you select "Select Storage" your SD Card doesn't show up as an option?

Here, there is a mini issue with that TWRP and detecting the SD.
Placing the Flashable files on the MicroSD Card
Step 1: Press "Mount"
Step 2: Press "Mount USB Storage"
*Note: "File Explorer" should have opened on your PC*
Step 3: Drag the "open_gapps-arm64-7.1-stock-20180216" and the "RR-N-v5.8.5-20171002-idol3-Unofficial.zip" into the MicroSD Card
Step 4: Wait for the transfer to complete and then Press "Unmount"
Step 5: Press the NavBar Back Button once

Or does your SD Card not show up as an option when you select "Select Storage"?

Yeah
Thats what am trying to say
Sideload
Sorry about all your issues, flashing has to be a pain sometimes
Did that but twrp said 'Failed'
I should say on twrp 2.8 mtp is detected by windows
But on twrp 3.1 internal storage is shown as 'removable disk' in windows and it keeps asking me to format before I use it
Tried formatting but I always get 'windows was unable to format' error.
Went back to twrp 2.8
Windows detected my device as mtp
I copied the alek os to internal storage
Then flashed twrp 3.1
Wiped system
Flash alek os
Still stuck at Alcatel logo
This is really strange

Lets try fixing one issue first.
With TWRP 3.1.1 on Idol 3 it doesn't show up on Windows, even for me.
Thats why to make it show up I have to:
Step 1: Press "Mount"
Step 2: Press "Mount USB Storage"
At that point File Explorer pops up automatically or I have to open it manually but my device shows up.

What version of Windows are you running?
It seems as if TWRP 3.1.1 and Windows don't want to communicate with each other :/
Windows 7

In TWRP try:
1) Going to Wipe
2) Format Data
3) Type Yes
that might make it show up in windows
