Moto G (2014) stuck in Bootloader. (POWER & VOLUME KEYS NOT WORKING) - General Questions and Answers

I have a Moto G (2014) running a custom recovery (TWRP) and custom ROM (Cyanogenmod). I entered in AP Fastboot Flash Mode and then connected a USB Cable. My phone showed 'USB connected' but then when i tried to flash a different custom rom from my pc, it said "waiting for device' and i realized that my phone was no longer connected. However, my phone still shows 'USB connected' and my phone is stuck. The power and volume keys have become unresponsive. I can no longer navigate using the volume keys and can no longer force restart my device by long pressing the power key. In short, my phone is completely stuck, including the power and volume keys. Right now I am just waiting for the battery to run out as the battery is also non-removable. If any one knows any alternative and quicker method please help.

Need help resetting a Droid Pro.

I need help getting a Droid Pro working again.
1. I broke the screen so I ordered a replacement and was able to replace it and the phone powers up no problem but it is currently stuck in a bootloop after SBF.
2. The volume buttons, although physically working, don't appear to be recognized in software for some reason. As a result, I am not able to access bootloader (Vol Up + Vol Down).
3. I can access Stock recovery, but again because the volume buttons don't work as they should, when the stock recovery comes up the only thing I can do is select the option that is highlighted by default. The volume buttons are used to highlight options and the entry that is highlighted is to reboot the device. I am unable to highlight the option to factory reset.
4.Because I SBF'd, the USB debugging is turned off by default since the phone bootloops and I am unable to boot into the system to turn on the USB debugging. Therefore, without USB debugging turned on, I can't use ADB to send some commands from my laptop.
I am stuck in catch-22 hell. Someone please help me out. Thanks.

Bricked stuck on RSD mode 3

Hi everyone, so my father's tablet booted and bricked itself, it was working fine for about 2 months since last update. he says it froze on lock screen, he forced a reboot and then the problem happened
Problem:
Motorola xoom tablete MZ604 (wifi only) is stucked on Motorola Logo with "starting RSD mode 3" , if I press & hold " Volume Up & Power" it rebootss back into the same screen. If I press & hold "Volume up & power" then release and press Volume Down, it sticks at the Motorola Logo but without the "starting RSD Mode 3 ".
Already tried
Cant turn it off, get to fastboot or recovery options.
when displaying the Starting RSD mode 3, if I connect the tablet to my pc I hear the Dond dong and I can see the computer running the Motorola flash interface driver on the device manager BUT no adb devices are listed on command prompt or anything on Computer but C:..
I even tried bridgeing ( I believe that's the correct word in english) the micro usb cable so line 1 and 4 had the voltage, ( I saw this as a solution for having the "factory cable" ) but NO RESULT
all sort of combination of pressing volume and power buttons for 20 secs. no result
Background info
I was able to unlock it, root it , and I was running team eos wingray and the gpu OC and all that sweet stuff for several weeks my pc has the sdk tools and google usb driver package all updated.
Im desperate please HELP
mate, i literally just had this problem, right now! Was trying to do some fastboot stuff and something went wrong (obviously because otherwise i wouldn't be here). The way i solved it was:
Hard reboot it (power and volume up)
Then as the splash screen comes (even a bit before) keep pressing the volume down button repeatedly. With me the RDS mode 3 onwire thing then didn't come up, turns out it was in fastboot mode when I connected it to the PC to see if was in luck. Turns out I was. Then I fastboot flashed a recovery.img and now it's all gravy.
Hope this works for you

Sony Z3 D6603 - Blackscreen

I was with my z3 in twrp and clicked on " Restart Bootloader". After that my screen went black and i cant use it anymore. I tried all methods of getting my Z3 restarted to boot again. Even if I plug my device to a charger my LED isnt lighting up. The only thing that i found out is: If I press long time at VOL- while pluged in USB cable on PC it dected a "Unknown Device". If i check the the Hardware ID of the device in that "mode" it says "device descriptor failure".
My restart methods:
- Pressed Power + VOL-
- Pressed the OFF button in Simtray
- Charged it a while to check if its "Sudden Death"
Can someone give me help ? Any solutions for that ?
If you haven't already, try to install the fastboot drivers for your device (just search for fastboot z3) and se if the PC detects it if you plug it in whilst holding vol+/vol-.
If so you can probably either try to restart it with a fastboot command (needs adb installed on your pc) or reflash stock (data gets wiped I think) with Flashtool.
Are you on unmodified stock or rooted?
try the rubber band method put four or maybe five rubberbands on the power button and the vol up button tightly for about 5-7 min after that remove the ruberband and then power on the device .This method worked for me when I wiped my system and rebooted I also had the same issue as you did .

How to get a phone into recovery mode without unlocking it, with pc

Hello Guys/Ladies
I own a oppo neo 7 (a33f) . I messed up my phone by replacing some files at root/system/bin . After replacing the files suddenly the screen of the phone started flashing (it turns on then goes black repeatedly) and also I am not able to press anything on screen.
And now where the real problem begins ,
this phone is so old that it doesn't have volume up volume down or power button (all physically broken)
and the battery got dead :crying: I tried using different things to press the buttons so I can make it into recovey mode (I can still press the volume buttons using pin but no chance with power key ) but still no chance.
Is there any way to make it boot into recovery mode without using the power button and yes I have a working pc with adb and platform tools but the phone is locked so adb prints "unauthorized device" I cant even turn on the device. I tried plugging it in charger and it works, the charging animation shows.
I have the stock rom that I can flash, I am not able get into recovery without power key.
Please help!
Thanks, in advance.

Question my Galaxy A12 won't boot to android or download mode help me pls

so I just tried to install unofficial TWRP 3.5.0 on my Samsung galaxy a125m and everything went fine, Odin said done. Then I just tried to start TWRP by pressing power and vol up and it didn't start, so I thought I might have done something wrong and rebooted to download mode and flashed it again, Odin said done, then I unplugged the USB cable and now it won't boot, neither to the system or recovery, even to download mode, it did enter download mode a few times before but I pressed the wrong button and had to cancel and enter again, now it won't even enter download mode so I can't flash stock rom to fix bootloop... pls how can I solve this I'm desperate
when I try to enter download mode by pressing volume up + volume down it just shows up charging mode without any numbers, then it turn on and shows Samsung logo, unlocked bootloader warning screen, and the Samsung logo again, but then just restarts and repeats all again...
when I try to press volume up + volume down + power, nothing really happens...
someone help me please
You need to keep both volume up and down pressed, then plug in the charging cable. It should enter download mode, no need to press the power button like in older samsungs.

Is the cable plugged into a charger and on?
Have you considered that your volume buttons may not be working?
Same hear
Try attaching your phone to the PC, and then pressing volume down + power to reset the phone, (for about 7~8 seconds) then immediately press the volume down and up buttons, that's how I recovered from it. Tell me if it worked

Please help it dosent worked
No pc detection
No download mode
No recovery
No charging
Hello, unfortunately in these cases the only solution is to enter download mode, check if any button is damaged or if the cable works and if it is well connected, press the buttons harder, hold down the volume up and volume down buttons at the same time , by pressing the strong buttons, for about 6 seconds and then connect the cable. If you don't try another cable to see if that's the problem there is no other solution as the phone is not recognized by an app that can put it into download mode when turned off the solution is the one I already told you about. I hope you have fixed that problem. Sorry for my bad English.

I am having a similar problem with the Samsung A12 SM-a125u
I never could enter into this "Downloading mode".
I tried flashing the stock ROM through ADB with fastboot, and I have another problem that I've never seen before: ADB can see the device while in recovery mode, but fastboot can't. And so it won't allow me to flash the ROM and I don't even know how Odin is supposed to help yet; I think I needed to enter Downloading mode for that, but I can't get into it.
I'm working on this phone for a friend who was given it because his friend's mom doesn't remember the password to it. Does that matter? It's worth noting that because of that I cannot get in to turn on OEM unlocking or dev mode, but idk why that would come into play in recovery mode. Also, the model indicates this is an AT&T phone, and tutorials online have acknowledged this model in their "applicable models" list at the beginning of their tutorials, but I know that carrier phones can cause problems all over the place (stop buying carrier locked phones people!); is this a problem?
How the heck do I flash the stock ROM to this this?
