A700 can't go past bootloader screen - Acer Iconia A700 and A510

So wondering if I just messed up Using US version of A700 (wifi), managed to update bootlocker, install recovery, and get into recovery. I did a system wipe, tried to install the ROM image and get errors, tried to do the google apps just to see what would happen, and the error said there wasn't enough space available. There's 21 gigs of space open on the main storage.<br />
So at this point, If i try to start it stops at unlocked mode for JB bootloader, I can get to recovery - can someone point in the direction to go, to try and get it up and running again?<br />
Thanks !!<br />

TWRP stuck in bootloop

So can anyone help me out here please. I have been looking online for hours now but cant seem to find a clear concise guide on what I need to do.
I am stuck in a bootloop on my TF300T, I am on the JB update.
I have unlocked my bootloader and installed TWRP with the intention of putting a cyanogen OS on my device. I tried installing CM9 through RCK and it ended up saying that the install failed for some reason, since this point I have been stuck in a bootloop. I have tried all of the different reset options on RCK with no luck at all. Stupidly I never made any kind of backup prior to this.
Basically, what I am looking for is an idiots guide to getting out of the bootloop, ideally ending up with CM9 installed but I will be quite happy with stock JB on the device. Please dont just link me to other threads or tell me to use the earch function as I have been doing this but I am unable to resolve the issue. Thanks in advance
so your Tf300 was on JB.
That said you flashed a Rom for the ICS Bootloader on a JB bootloader. Bad move.
Search for adb pusher here on XDA. Use it to push a JB Rom to your internal space.
Go in Recovery and flash the JB Rom with TWRP.
Ok I will try this and see what happens. Thanks

So I have tried using Quick ADB Pusher but it is not able to recognise the device. I have entered Fastboot mode on the TF300T and connected it to the PC. Selected the CM10.1 ROM and chosen the file destination.
But ADB Pusher is not recognising the device so it wont let me copy the file accross

UPDATE: I have managed to install CM10.1 but there are no icons apart from settings and camera. Assuming this is because it is a nightly build, trying to flash stock WW now to see if it will work
so it seems that no rom will install through cwm. stock just stops at bootscreen an CM only displays limited icons.
Does anyone have a link to a stable CM for JB?

[Q] Stuck in Bootloader and TWRP

I have an AT&T HTC One X that's rooted. I wanted to put Cyanogenmod 10 on it, but I accidently wiped the System files instead of the cache. Now it can't boot up regularly, I've tried using Rom Update Utility but it doesn't seem to work. Factory Reset doesn't seem to work either. I didn't expect this to happen because my friend just flashed his a couple of days ago. I've tried making a backup and restoring but no matter what I can't get the phone to start up normally. Unless I put it in TWRP (Team Win Recovery Project) or the HBoot/Bootloader I really can't use it for anything. Any suggestions? I would greatly appreciate it. Also when bootloader opens it says "Tampered" and under it "Unlocked" because I did root it. It didn't have "Tampered" when I first rooted it.
I don't care about Cyanogenmod 10 anymore I just want to have it working again.
Everything else about the phone is in perfect condition but what I just said is the only problem.
Wiping /system means you wiped the OS. Naturally, it can't boot up with no rom in place. You need to flash something.

Well, I've already flashed it to a few things and so far it hasn't changed anything. Got any links?
Did you fastboot flash boot boot.IMG ? Don't know what hboot you are on, but could be it.

Well there will be no OTA updates for you since you are unlocked - even if you flash the stock rom.
The latest firmware version for the TF700 is JB 4.2.1.
I'd say, flash CROMi-X on your tab. It's based on the 4.2.1 stock rom, the most popular custom rom on the Infinity and runs great!
Read the OP here carefully and follow all the steps!

Just make sure you always have the correct recovery - bootloader combination before you flash.
And you will have to do a clean installation coming from another custom rom. But you need to do that anyway - even if you flash the stock firmware.

OK I see it says in his thread if you are coming from the "stock jb boot loader" then install the appropriate bootloafer twrp package below.
But can I just do a clean wipe and then flash the 10.x.x boot loader twrp package strait from my 9.4.x boot loader?
And will that just replace my bootloader and recovery but leave me with my ROM and root? Then I can just flash chromiX after that?

Exactly, you got it. Just make sure you boot back into your old rom once after flashing the new bootloader and before flashing the new rom.

OK so I downloaded the latest bootloader and twrp package from the chromi-X thread along with the ROM and patch files. I booted into recovery and flashed the boot loader file without doing a wipe. After the flash was successful I hit reboot device. It did its thing and now its sitting on the Asus screen where it tells me "the devise is unlocked" up in the corner. So where did I go wrong and what can I do from here?
*EDIT*
After about 10 minutes on that screen i tried to reboot into recovery. It gave me a message in the top left saying "a key driver was missing but gave me the new boot loader number and put me on a screen i have never seen befor with three logos in the middle "rck" " android figure""box that said wipe system or something like that" i hit the power button and i rebooted into twrp 2.5 So I got the new boot loader and new twrp but it won't boot into my ROM. Should I restore drone my nandroid or flash the new chromi-x and try to boot again?

If you have confirmed that you have the 10.6.1.14.18 bootloader (read tiny script when you boot with Volume Down) and TWRP 2.5 installed, you're good to go. Just flash CromiX.
The screen with RCK, Android, Wipe is the bootloader menu. If you boot into it, the RCK icon should be flashing. Volume Up then boots the recovery. Selecting the Android boots your system. It's not recommended to use the Wipe function from here if you have modded.
Never mind the "key driver is missing", every TF700 displays that - even stock.

And it should have rebooted itself, like it says in my thread - "wait 1 min and don't panic" - it sounds like you forced a reboot? Consider yourself lucky if you recover it as you have rebooted it whilst it was flashing the bootloader / recovery partitions......

[Q] Boot Into Recover & Get Unauthorized Message From VZW

Hello
I have the GS3 stock rooted, model SCH-1535 running 4.1.2. I've been getting notifications saying there is an OTA update available, which I keep declining. I decided it was time to flash a new ROM so this notification will stop. I installed TWRP recovery and was going to create a backup, but I am unable to get into recovery. I keep getting an error message saying i have unauthorized software on my phone. I believe this issue dates back to a time when I did try to take the OTA update.
I've tried taking the update using the root keeper type apps, nothing seems to allow the update to go through, but I am able to keep root.
How to I fix this issue? Do i need to go through the unrooting process with triangle away, etc.?
Bump
You didn't unlock your bootloader.
Boot into download mode, and hit volume down to force the phone to boot into the system. Download ez unlock version 1.2 and install it, open it and unlock, then you're good to go.
If you can't get that to work, you need to Odin this rom, reroot with casual, then get ez unlock and make sure you're unlocked before you flash a custom recovery:
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23134718111254196
You probably won't be able to boot into the rom because it's aosp, so you're probably stuck with the second option.

That unauthorized software message means you did not unlock your bootloader before trying to install the custom ROM. Download the EZ Unlock 1.2 app below, use a file explorer to move it to system/apps, install it, open it up and use it to unlock your bootloader.

[Q] Help regarding rooting and Installing of Updates

Friends,
I have been going through the forums and honestly, the more I read the more confusing it gets... I have a US LTE version (got it over EBay in india) of the shield tablet, I had installed all updates up till the 2.2.1 hotfix. I installed CWM recovery and rooted using ADB/FASTBOOT.
I installed backed up apps using helium and then tried to get rid of the AT&T access app, cos I wanted to use hotspot feature.
I think I may have blocked some impt processes in ES TASK MANAGER because soon after, processes (playstore, text to speech, shield hub) just kept on crashing. It made the Tab unusable and so I went to CWM and did factory reset. After rebooting the setup screen was visible but processes still kept crashing. Again booting into recovery I got the android with exclamation and using the keycombo went into android recovery and wiped data&cache from here. After rebooting, I have Lollipop, stock recovery (i think) and no root (root checker says so).
The tablet now asks for OTA update 2.2 (134 mb) in size and during install throws error saying status 7 block mounted as r/w. So I am stuck now.
At the moment am downloading "productionBL-droid-signed-wx_na_do-full_ota-29979_515.3274" and will try flashing this.
(I believe this is the latest 2.2.1 update?)
Meanwhile am I doing anything wrong? How do I update in the future? I would rather let the tablet download the OTA by itself, so what do I need to do before this, assuming I have unlocked bootloader + CWM/TWRP recovery (I love TWRP but will use CWM for now) + root.?
From what I understand, if I want the device to install incremental OTA by itself then my device must be unmodified in any way?
For this I would have to install the factory image right? Does this remove custom recovery and root?
When is it absloutly necessary to wipe dalvic cache or any other cache?
Based upon your replies I will have more questions....
Thanks
Alden
