You have to root. Flash preferred recovery. Download the zip file and flash in recovery. Knowing what you're doing comes first. Being rooted comes next

If that particular mod is compatible with your Rom... then yes. Create a backup in recovery so you can restore it just incase something goes South. You never know.

Yes. I also flashed the other modified kernel before Chainfire posted. Both enabled root. Some apps require updates (ESFile manager, Quick boot for me). Holo Reboot and Holo Light Reboot work as do many other root apps.

To get root you must use boot.img provided with rom

1. volum camera shutter is missing
2. samsung keyboard .

I'm sure you forgot su flash lolipop bootloader and modem.
If you sure you have those try to wipe again on recovery and check if you have downloaded ok ... cheers

it stay on version 1.3.14

For me not working. Pasted in priv-app. Renamed and gave permissions. After reboot AOD does not show up in setings. I am on DD1 rom

Hey there, I made this thread because many of the x820/x821 users were facing Google Camera force closes on their phones......I found this fix on this thread and tested it on my x821 with a success.... Please do check and reply if it worked for other users..... It was basically happening due to installation of GApps.... To fix this just follow these steps.....
1. Make sure your phone is rooted.
2. You need a root file manager.
3. Navigate and delete these files.
/System/framework/com.google.android.camera.experimental2016.jar and
/System/etc/permission/com.google.android.camera.experimental2016.xml
4. Clear data of Google Camera and Reboot. DONE.
HOPE THIS FIX WORKS FOR YOU.:good:

The clicks are caused by the focus issues sadly, but the LeEco fix should be implemented into the custom rom im using in this weeks update, so I gotta hold out from using the camera until then!

this problem you have mostly with full gapps
in pico, mini and so on they works without fixing

Did you get root access? On the other hand if you're in pie ROM you don't need to do this anymore, just install an update to the same.... It will work fine:good:

You can use any ROM with Focus Fix toggle, like AEX, AICP, AOSiP, LOS etc:good:
Also take the note that your camera module is good, cause mine is bad and it doesn't work anymore.....
