Playing tegra games (Pure pool) on xperia z1 or s7 edge with gltools [root] ? - Android Apps and Games

Hey, I have a question, I wanted to root my s7 edge, but wanted to try out it on my old phone Xperia Z1, so I rooted my z1, installed gltools, did everything right (chose TEGRA SHIELD device fake info), and wanted to start Pure Pool game, that is exclusive for Shield and Android TV devices, so I ran into a problem, AT FIRST, It did'nt even start, AT SECOND, after I ticked almost every GPU tweak in GLtools, Pure Pool games turned on, I could hear the main menu sounds, but the screen was absolutely black.. and only sounds was heard, but no visual things. Where could I have gone wrong? Are games like Pure Pool require some extra shader packages or something? Because later I tried to install Chainfire 3D and it soft bricked my phone, so I don't wanna try it again.

[Q] Chainfire 3d Not working on galaxy S2

Ive got a rooted Galaxy S2 running android 2.3.3.
I Installed Chainfire 3D pro 2.8 and the three plug-ins. No games are showing up in the store when I hit fix market settings so I tried installing games from the SD card. Riptide just closes at startup, bang bang racing is stuck at the white startup screen.
Wasnt able to find the answer via the search option.
Anyone knows how to fix this?
Luuk
Riptide - Special Shaders are needed, i suggest you search for the official chainfire thread on here (easily searchable through google)
Bang Bang Racing - 1. Its Rubbish (poor controls, you pretty much cover your car with your finger) 2. 99% Guarantee it won't work with this app. Game uses Nvidia Physx so it cannot be mimicked with any app
i had some of the games showing up on the market but not the ones i was searching for, anyway, on my phone it worked out of the box from the custom rom...
Seems a little buggy i think but i did not read the chainfire thread ;-)

[Q] Chainfire 3d causing screen to blur, please help!

I have a rooted Motorola Electrify and I installed Chainfire 3d. My phone screen started blurring like bad reception on a tv. I installed it to play games such as: 9mm, Modern Combat. Which work on most single core devices. Is there plug-ins that need to be installed or something else? I searched the forum and could not find a thread about my problem. I appreciate any replies.

what options have you enabled?I only use "unroll textures to full 32bit" whatever it is called. Also make sure that you dont multi enable options because graphics can become ****(chainfire might not be compatible for your phone)

Problem with Need for Speed App

Need Help please!!! I have had problems with the game need for speed Shift installation, I have tried several versions of this game but the screen looks white and no colors are showed, I only can see the car running and hearing the music background. I installed chainfire 3-D thinking that the problem could be fixed, But the problem still appears to be another. I have a samsung galaxy tab plus 7.0 P6210.
I was having a same problem as you mentioned before, but now it works fine.
I'm using Chainfire3D Pro v3.3
The tick marked settings for NFS:
-Reduce Texture Quality
-Disable MapBuffer emu
and the plugin used is NVIDIA.
Now the game is working like a charm

[Q] Plants vs zombies 2 very slow

Hello to everyone...
English isn't my natural lenguaje, sorry if i fail writing my post.
Well, my problem is that plants vs zombies 2 is running very slow in this device and my question is, Why?
If you know the solution, please help me, can make me very happy
Good day mr.
Same problem here with tab 4 t230 and pvz 2
Same problem here on t235 when playing Clash of Clans...
same problem here on sm-t330n i have already disabled everything, nothing seems to help.
edit: i 've tried Greenefy and it seems to help a little.
edit: I've tried turn off almost every app one by one that i was able to, except google play services, and that help also a little.
Also i have found that after turning off every app i was able to, netflix frame skipping was reduced considerably, but not completely. so i went back to 1.8.1 again.
same problem too
My Pvz 2 running too slow on T331, fps is under 15 (i guess that), but my kids still love it. I dont know why but i've tried run many diffent games like asphalt 8, mc4, mc3, nfs most wanted, gangstar... so my t331 can handle them very well. Maybe the rom is not completly compatible with pvz2 or because of its version.
Hello,
I´m having the same problem with P vs Z 2and asphalt 8 in my SM-T230NU. but Clash of Clans and Boom Beach run revy fine.
I have a tablet SM-T230WI-Fi Plants vs Zombie2 launched with good FPS using the program Gltools. set Gltools (need root). Run the application, select Gltools Plants vs Zombie 2, put a checkmark to apply the settings for this application, reduce the resolution select: 0.5x, primenitm template Tegra 4, put a tick in disguise gpu.
Yes, I know this is an old thread. But, I have the same problem in a SM-T231.
There is any fix for this?

GLTools question about tegra game (Pure pool) on non tegra device.

I tried to run Pure pool with GLTools 1.99 on Sony Xperia Z1, and I faked tegra 4 profile. Checked absolutely everything, and everything I get is the sound of the main menu of the game, but black screen, I am confused so I tried ChainFire 3D too, but Chainfire bootlooped my phone, so I deleted it. WHERE COULD I GO WRONG WITH GLTOOLS ? Also, GLTools 1.99 where installed with plugin called "Not a lost treasure, but...". Any ideas ? Also, if I uncheck something from GLTools, the game doesn't even start, there is no sound heard, so as far as I could get is to run game with only sound, but no video, any help ?
My Z1 has Lollipop
