Corrupted IMEI - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

Would anyone out there be able to point in me in the direction for correcting a corrupted IMEI?
Had a dev release a new version of their rom today and updated, since doing so imei is now unkown.
I've restored with full odin and pit file but no luck.

Ok so another weired behaviour from efs comes to picture.
Recently I have observed many cases with failure of firmware update with Kies due to unknown csc (xxx), even though dialing *#1234# showing everything correctly.
Now I have observed this when you have corrupted EFS, height is that your IMEI still will be correct and no network issue. But you will have only corrupted product code.
Again
This kind of issue happens if you restore your EFS backup which you have created on older rom (before me6) on latest ROM (ME6 or later).
In such condition there won't be network / IMEI issue, but you won't able to update on Kies.
How to confirm your product code corrupted ?
Install check fus or sammobile app from play store and this will show product code 'inactive'
Remedy :
You should have EFS backup which should created just after upgrade to me6 or later.
Restoring this backup also restores your product code too and you will able to see product code again on above said application.
If you have EFS backup, which you have created on older ROM only then you can reflash Older ROM. this will erase IMEI but with your older EFS backup restore it. Now check your product code, it should be appear correctly. You can now upgrade to latest ROM and make new EFS backup. which you need to restore on newer ROM only.
I have tested myself restoring both EFS backup and above said is conclusion.
So make efs backup on both firmware (prior and post me6) and restore accordingly if you want to keep Kies update possibility intact.
What if don't have any EFS backup and Product Code is missing?
Let our elite dev to respond if we can restore it with ?Hex code or anything else, Untill that
Probably you have to live with Odin

Fix baseband version and imei unknown

Hey guys, this is the first time posting here and I hope my problem will be solved.
Yesterday, I was flashing a bad rom in my Sony Xperia C2305 that didn't work. I'd backup so went to Cwm and recovered my stock rom but after recovery SIM cards were not working, after searching a lot I came to know that baseband version and IMEI were messed up by bad rom and they both are showing unknown till now.
After searching the whole day, I came to know that it can be fixed by flashing ftf firmware so I download both latest and old firmware. But I couldn't flash those firmware with flashtool because of CWM recovery.
So, I tried to remove CWM and get back to stock recovery and I came to know that only odin can do that but there is another problem with odin. It simply needs pda, csc, phone files which I can't even check by dialing *1234# because of SIM error.
Now, if someone can help me to get pda, csc, phone file I can proceed, other than this, I have extracted the ftf file and found recovery-sign.sin file, if somehow it can be converted to img than I can recover my stock recovery with mobile uncle app.
I also tried to write imei with mtk droid tools but it didn't work and not even writing imei with terminal worked.
Except this all, I have also brought volcano box from my friend which can also be useful, I'm checking it out now
Please anyone who knows the solution for my problem please guide me to fix my phone and yes it has still 8 months of warranty but it's rooted might not work.

The only hope you will find here is flashing a stock package as touching the IMEI in any way is illegal and banned here.
Sorry, I didn't know that touching IMEI is banned here so regards flashing, is it possible to flash ftf firmware with CWM, if yes than how?

restoring imei

i had corrupted efs partition i took it to a local repair shop they fixed it. it was rooted and downgraded to 5.1.1 and the imei was changed,..right after that i backed up my efs, flashed official 6.0.1using odin and then i flashed xtrestolite rom.but in xtresolite rom it does not shows imei while i press *#06# but it shows imei in about device/status/imei information and there is no issues like emergency call only.i tried flashing my backed up efs partition but the result was same. now the question is it fixable ? and can i restore my original imei as i am planing to sell the device.
It's just a ROM problem. If you want to sell the device, just install stock ROM.
I dunno, I have XtreStoLite and *#06# shows IMEI & S/N. Don't think it's a ROM problem. Did you ask guys at repair shop about it?

Unknown baseband, null imei number and deleted efs files

I am in need of some help. I have a galaxy s7 that the efs files have been deleted, therefore, it wont connect to any network as well as unknown base band. when i type in *#06# mt imei number is null (all zeros). I have tried flashing stock firmware onto the device but that doesnt help. I dont know which combination binary software to install because i dont know the correct pda for the device. i am looking for any help to fix this problem.
note: i have another s7 with all the files i think i need, is there anyway to swap the files into the toher device and have it generate its original imei number ?

You need a backup of the efs folder of that device. If you never did one using a custom recovery like TWRP you are doomed. I believe that there are boxes like the Octopus one that, if you know the imei of the device they can flash that partition/folder and assign the device its imei once again. I don't know if the official service will be willing or able to fix the imei issue, I would suggest reaching out to them and ask.

[HELP] Missing IMEI and Baseband on a Network Locked SM-S337TL

Hello guys,
I have been stuck in this for about a week now. Have read tons and gone through a bunch of videos but still stuck. I will greatly appreciate any help.
I was trying to unlock a Samsung Galaxy J3 Luna Pro SM-S337TL (GP) Tracfone.
Downloaded and flashed the combination file using odin but after booting into the binary it show:
CP Crash
Upload Mode
Secure NV read decrypt fail.
Because of this I am unable to complete the network unlock. After several trials I flashed the 4files and got back into the phone, to discover the IMEI and Baseband are gone.
I have tried to download and flash many versions of the Stock ROM for model and even used KIES to find the corresponding Firmware version using the Serial number, but I can't seem to get them back.
I didn't backup before I started. Big MISTAKE.
How do I fix the device to be be unlocked and get the IMEI and Baseband back? One step at a time please.
