I miss a built-in streaming functionality, firefox streaming is choppy and the other option requires another app? If you were to build that functionality into the app it would be very useful to me.
Also the design etc looks good, simple and functional.

Tube Download was an awesome app which could search youtube (the DESKTOP version, without anything missing like the stock youtube app is missing things), download video files, and strip the audio out. It was great for downloading songs from music videos.
The app is now gone from the market and the current version on my phone does not work to search. Anyone know what happened or know of an alternative?

Had the same issue with the search results coming up with nothing, now it seems to be working again.
Same here.I'm not getting any search results for YouTube. the other 2 work fine (dailymotion and Google vids) but when I d/l the vids and try to play they are just audio.
seems like Google (which owns youtube) is starting to filter out any youtube downloaders, free and paid programs. I have received 0 search results on youtube when i used tube downloader as well
Why don't you guys do a google search for tube downloader or go to a torrent site like www.picktorrent.com where i already found some app packs for android OS... just an ideia

Same here..
Glad I downloaded tube droid before it was apparently ripped from the market. It downloads audio, video, etc.. I didn't know downloading YouTube videos was wrong though. It's obvious there are reasons though..
I have Dolphin Browser installed just to download YouTube videos. Works fine you just have to use the YouTube mobile site to search.

unfortunately i dont think youtube ripper will suffice. alot of videos that i actually want to watch arent watchable on mobile
I would Like to share this amasing app, probably some of You already Know this app but some of you probably don't
App looks like normal youtube app but let You Download Every movie You wan't And you can chose format you wan't or simply convert it to mp3 file!!!

Yes I've tried itube for android. Please let the itube developer know this problem. Hello my name is Kenny Reid. I am currently using iTube app version 2.5 for android on my Galaxy S7. Can you please fix the slow choppy, not smooth video playback issue. My Galaxy S7 is very fast, very smooth, very powerful, and very capable of playing high definition YouTube videos no problem. iTube is the culprit here, iTube does not play the youtube videos smoothly. My Galaxy S7 is on latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Itube has a issue loading or buffering the next video I watch. My internet connection is very fast on wifi and itube still has problem so itube is the culprit here. Please fix these issues for iTube and update iTube to new Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Also is there a way to get rid of the ads? The ads are really annoying. It seems like iTube does not play the youtube videos in full HD 1080P and iTube still has trouble playing the video smoothly. It was great in android 5.1.1 but now it doesn't cache in marshmallow, what a shame :/

Yeah the background audio quality could be better and video quality could be better too. I want to watch HD 1080P youtube videos in itube.
Sorry I don't know the developers name of itube but please update iTube for Marshmallow I really like the itube app .
Still no itube update for marshmallow. Either the developer is no longer working on itube or nobody gives a crap about this app

No buddy itube only works for youtube videos. Trust me I have been using itube for a while.

I'm very certain itube only works with youtube videos.

I'd recommend using the app newpipe from F - Droid. Org. It's open source and completely replaces the YouTube app. It respects your privacy better and let you download the music in whatever format you want. I particularly like that it it keeps a local copy of your subscriptions and doesn't provide that information to YouTube.

I second new pipe. Arktube from Arter can download 4k 60fps and thats my go too.
