Unlocking Samsung Gear S2 - Samsung Gear S2

I bought a Samsung Gear S2 3G smartwatch from South Korea. I presumed this is a locked device by SK Telecom due to its logo upon booting.
I bought this for a hefty price with the expectation that it could work as a "standalone" device. Since I am using this in Saudi Arabia, the capability of being "standalone" device simply doesn't work.
Folks, is there a workaround to unlock it and become usable as a standalone device using the uSIM to connect it in any networks in Saudi Arabia?

Phone from USA to ITALY

i've a relative in the USA, and he wants to buy a smartphone like present for me, I'm looking for a smartphone Android that can i use in Italy, i saw the Galaxy Nexus, Rezound, can you help me for this?
He needs to make sure that it's a GSM phone that supports your carrier's frequencies.
My Carrier is Vodafone, and i will use 3g and Gsm, what are the models that can i use in Italy?
Coz i'm interested in Beats Audio and Htc, and i'm interested to buy also Galaxy Nexus... but I must can use it in Italy (Can i use Verizon's Galaxy Nexus in Italy)?

I'm getting full Signal bars but no 3G/4G/LTE

Hey everyone. So I recently upgraded from a Sony Z2 to a new gold Galaxy s7 flat. So I recently bought it new from a retailer known as Vodacom (Vodafone) in South Africa. I was asking the guy working there if the phone is sim unlocked and he said 'Yes.' Well i did have a few vodacom phones before, working with other carrier sims overseas, so i trusted him and bought the phone. I live in New Zealand and I was on a flight to nz the same day that i bought the phone (Because in South Africa the s7 is much cheaper + you get a free Galaxy tab 3 lite witht the deal). So when i arrived in nz, i got me a Vodafone (Not vodacom) sim card and inserted it ito the phone. I got full signal bars but no 3g or 4g or internet in general. When i booted the phone up, it didn't ask for a network code or anything, and the Vodafone SIM app did suddenly appear on my phone, so I have no idea what's really wrong with this thing. My mobile data is on and limit are all off. Please help me! Regards

Sounds like you need to configure your APN settings.

Gear S2 3g - on ee network

Does anyone know if I was to buy a Gear s2 3g from a retailer – would I get able to use it with my current EE plan
I understand that I would need to take out another EE esim contract……the thing is I’m not sure if EE support esim or have the infrastructure
I’ve been into an EE shop but nobody knew what I was talking about

Questions about Gear S3 LTE from Korea (eBay)

The Gear S3 is not officially (and probably never will be) available in my country. We have only just started receiving the Gear S2 in November 2016 from unofficial suppliers so I'm not prepared to wait another year for the S3.
I want to order the Gear S3 Frontier LTE from eBay. The description says the watch comes from South Korea and has carrier branding (boot screen) and apps but is not carrier locked. It also apparently supports the LTE bands that my carrier uses.
1. What is the procedure for another carrier to register an eSIM on their network? (ie. Is it likely that I would be able to use the LTE function? I mainly just want the call forwarding function)
2. Can the boot screen logo be changed back to the original Samsung logo? (Remove the Korean mobile service provider branding?)
3. What is the possibility of flashing a standard ROM to replace the carrier branded ROM?
4. Are there any other hardware differences?

The LTE feature would be useless, unless your countries carriers support e-sims. We have this same issue in Canada no support, so even a compatible US S3 with LTE would not work.
Ok, I thought as much. Thanks for the feedback.

Question Lte function in different countries

Hi all. I bought a galaxy watch 4 lte version rose from Uk samsung site and would like to use in Hong Kong. (Coz this version is not available in hk) I have asked the cs from uk samsung site and they said the lte function can only be used with UK carriers because the components in the watch are specified for UK carriers only. But then I have checked the carrier band in both Hong Kong and UK and seems they are using the same lte band. So does anyone know will the lte function work in HK in this case? If not, I may have to return the watch to samsung. Thanks.
Here's the carrier list I found :

Regional locks. A nasty thing indeed. I am going to return my GW4 because of this(no LTE available foir my country). Think about doing the same thing.
