Hey, I just had success recently,
To root Sprint GS6 Edge, just Flash TWRP. look at the General section and look for ram9200's "TWRP 3.0.0-0 TeamWin Recovery Project 3/13" and download it.
On that same thread , you can find links to download the kernel and Supers SU zips. Download both too and you are ready.
Make sure to enable developer's options, OEM unlocking and USB debugging. Then what I did:
flash the TWRP recovery (via odin)
uncheck auto reboot
wait 5+ minutes then poweroff (this was key for me) and start
reboot into TWRP recovery,
then flash away the kernel, supersu

Hic, like me. Maybe in this forum only you and I are using it. So sad
I don't know if what I'm gonna says will works, but can you find your model in this site?
https://autoroot.chainfire.eu/
And if I have understood, you have a Galaxy S6 Edge and your TWRP should be here:
https://twrp.me/devices/samsunggalaxys6edge.html
But before doing anything, please do some researche and find if this are the real file and it will works!

Sorry for the dumb question, but the carrier lock the phone like AT&T, Verizon and similar? If not, can't you find your model code in both site? If it unlock like Verizon and AT&T, I think it's almost impossible

You can start with either one. If there is a CF autoroot or TWRP for your device then there should be instructions for how to do it in the thread where you get them from. Follow those instructions, it isn't rocket science.
I DO NOT PROVIDE HELP IN PM, KEEP IT IN THE THREADS WHERE EVERYONE CAN SHARE
Root and twrp
What should i do first
Root or twrp
Need help here
Sc-04f docomo
Uncheck Auto Reboot from options in odin
flash twrp
-phone won't reboot-
once done remove battery
put it back
press vol up + home + power
Help here
Ok
Then twrp install after i root
With odin or else
I have download file cf auto root from official website for my supported model number
But stil confuses about which thing i install first
Twrp
Or root
There are two types of root
Cf auto root and super su
Some youtube videos show me twrp install odin on download mode
Then install twrp custum recovery then install zip file of super su
But still confused about cf auto root file of my device
Is also available
Which thing i do first
With step by step
Plz guide me
You would install TWRP. boot the phone root it and then power off boot into recovery and flash SuperSu. I'm pretty sure this is how it's done I've not done it myself yet but I've been reading up on it alot can anyone confirm this?

These things that you are mentioning have instructions in the places that you are finding/reading them. Try reading those instructions and doing what they say to do.
Installing TWRP and rooting have already been explained to you and you are still asking. Installing Xposed is just one more step. There are guides for how to do all of this everywhere. Try paying attention or you will regret it because you will destroy your device.
Are you even paying attention to what they are saying to you? Are you even trying to understand what you are reading in the threads and videos that explain how to install them?
You aren't asking "how to do it", you are wanting someone to do everything for you instead of using your own brain.
If your bootloader is locked then you can not flash TWRP, you will have to flash CF autoroot in Odin the same way that TWRP is flashed in Odin. The process is basically the same, only the file that is used is different.

Hey everyone,
I can't root my device which is the same Galaxy S5 (SC-04F) the problem I am facing during the root is that when I try to flash TWRP from odin everything goes well but my phone doesn't detect the SIM instead I see "No sim | Insert Sim card" same goes with cf_auto root it doesn't detect the SIM card.
I really want to flash a custom rom Iam bored of the stock. Iam running the latest stock update 6.0.1 with August security patch level.
I have tried flashing the modem.bin by converting it into .tar file but no luck.
Any help will be appreciated...
Did you open the developer option and enable the usb debugging and oem ?

They aren't having a problem flashing the device, they are having problems detecting SIM when it boots up after flashing.

I have a Samsung Galaxy SM-J700T1 (2016). When bought it came with Marshmallow (6.0.1) Recently Samsung updated my phone with Nougat (7.1.1) J700T1UVU3BQK3. Samsung experience version 8.5.
While I was using Marshmallow I was rooted.
Now that I have Nougat, I'm looking for a CF-AUTOROOT program that I can install from ODIN.
I'm looking for any advice I can get.
If someone has some information about an answer for my question please let me know. All/any advice would be greatly appreciated...

This is an updated root and unroot method for the s7/s7 edge.
I updated the zip file with the latest eng boot
Uploaded the latest stock files

Use V10 Odin Files this will allow you to root the s7/s7 sdge on the latest firmware. (02/09/2020)
Directions:
This works for Oreo And Nougat Roms
As always there is a chance of bricking your phone
1. Download and extract S7_Oreo_Nougat_Adb_Advanced_Root.zip
2. Reboot your phone to download mode
3. Inside the S7_Oreo_Nougat_Adb_Advanced_Root folder you will find an Odin_Firmware folder. Use Odin and flash the Eng Boot Image for your
phone
4. Once phone is rebooted and connected to computer click on the cmd-here.exe and type root.bat in the command window and hit enter
5. Follow directions on the command window
6. You can only use system root on Oreo
7. Once root is done and root bat closes leave your phone alone for a few minutes it may reboot a couple of times
8. Sprint Users This should work for you as well just let me know if your phone reboots with eng boot.img installed like it did on nougat while try too run the root.bat. I may need to change some things
9. With this system root do not update su binary if in anyway you get something asking you to update binaries ignore it. You can also disable notifications about updating binaries. This will not affect su app
10. Don't flash any superuser zips in recovery that are not made by me
S7 Oreo Nougat Adb Advanced Root V13: https://archive.org/download/s7oreo...Nougat_Adb_Advanced_Root_V13 (02-08-2020).zip
Return to stock:
Open odin
Reboot in download mode
Apply files
Plus in device
Flash to device

I'm on version G930PVPSBCTA1 and none of the odin files would flash. Fails immediately when flashing. Am I doing something wrong?

Well that sucks. I highly doubt we'll see a root method then at this point. Thanks for replying.

I have no access or knowledge to use that alone.
