can last a day for light usage (24 hours)

I usually drain it with around 35 - 40 % per day with light usage...very good.

I get ~40hrs with light usage

it usually lasts me 3 days, with around 5 hours of screen on time and 10% battery left. it's worth mentioning that sync is off and i don't use battery draining apps, like facebook or messenger.

3 days with 4-5 hours SOT but mainly on wifi, 30 mins calls a day and MiBand connected.

i never get 24 hour in light use
meybe aroud 16-18 hour
maybe because may place didnt have good celular signal

For me, after several weeks with LOS installed, the battery comsumption is exactly as others here found it, 30-40% a day with light usage

[Q] Battery Math

Hey all, been on the forums a long time without much in the way of posting, but thought I would share some numbers with you all to see if others are in the same boat...
I love the Sensation, but I am highly looking forward to S-Off and rooting to get rid of Sense (Sure it's cool, but it's not THAT cool). However, I don't think that custom ROMs will help with my battery, as the major (read HOLY COW) drain on my MAh is from the Screen.
Currently:
Battery Level: 80%
Time on Battery: 3h 40m 41s
Display on: 48m 28s
Percent of Drain:
Display: 80%
Cell Standby: 8% (Time on: 3h 40m, W/out Signal = 16%)
Phone Idle: 6% (2h 51m 13s)
Wi-Fi: 4% (1h 25m 45s)
Voice Calls: 3% (50 seconds)
This is a pretty standard breakdown of my phone on a normal day by lunch.
The math itself becomes pretty easy:
Display = 80% of 20% = 16% of the battery over the course of 48 minutes (rounded down for easy math).
This means that every 3 minutes the display is on, I drop 1% of battery. That is 5mAH per minute. Mind you, this is with brightness set at 0%... When backlight is on at 100%, it goes to about 1% drop in every 2 minutes. (Unless I'm actually doing something and then i can drop almost 1%/minute)
This means to me that, if you are doing NOTHING on your phone, but have the screen turned on with 0% backlight, you will get 300 minutes, or 5 hours. That doesn't seem so bad, but if you are actually doing something on your phone (watching video, using any of the radios, etc.), you will get between 1-3 hours of usage.
This seems a little insane to me, as I am able to watch more than two full length feature films on my iPod Touch before the battery is anywhere NEAR drained.
How do these numbers stack up with what you all have experienced.
P.S. I know there are other battery discussions, but they all seem to be centered on extending battery life, which this is not. It is a simple discussion of the displays drain.
There's a problem: Your computing with 101% total Just kidding. I don't think the measurements are very accurate. For example, it showed me that 3% of my battery drain was due to the Dice application. Well, I rolled the dice about 3 times. Should not exactly drain that much... Now let me show you some other math: The Sensation battery has 1580 mah. There are various tools that will show you the current drain in ma. Dividing mah by ma leaves you with h, i.e. hours. Yesterday, I did the following: Turned on Wifi Access Point, Bluetooth, GPS, Mobile data connection, Music player, display @ max brightness and LED flash, plus me swiping the homescreens around for some time. The drain reached a peak of 900 ma. You will find 1580 / 900 = 1.75 which is already close to 2 hours for which you could do such funny things When watching a video, your power consumption will be much less (The flahs alone is like ~200 ma). I think you will get 4-5 hours with a moderate brightness setting and headphones if you're not streaming over WiFi or something. Try it out and tell us!

G950 Battery Life/SOT discussion

Let's get this discussion rolling. Post your battery usage, SOT and device model (SD/EX, carrier/unlocked) here! Reviews have mostly said the S8 battery is about equal to the S7, maybe a bit better or worse depending on who you believe, so I'm eager to get a general idea of how endurance will be when my S8 arrives May 5th.
I'm impressed so far. Yesterday, charged to 95% and over 9 hours of mixed use, with about 2.5 hours of SOT, I was sitting at 48%. What is great is I had AOD on *and* the resolution at max with no power saving features. I wanted to see how it was going to perform at top performance and then work my way down. Right now, been off the charger for 75 minutes, 26 minutes of SOT and have 93%. That extrapolates to 6 hours SOT. It will be more like 5 used throughout the day obviously but this is pretty good.
Regular s8 full screen brightness, bluetooth and location on...took off charger at 6AM at 100%, 4.5 hours later it's at 76%. Connected to my car through bluetooth playing music through my hour long commute and using the internet. Not amazing but much, much better than my s6...for now. I plan on getting a battery case eventually when they're available which is partially why I opted for the regular s8 - those battery cases can be pretty big.
Early signs look promising, so far. Hope the thing Samsung said about these batteries aging much more gracefully is true, and that the S8s will maintain their battery over the course of their lifetime.
I'm at 6 hours 13 minutes of SOT mostly youtube and have 25% battery left. AOD, Bluetooth for watch, wifi, and phone at fhd+. 10 hours 53 mins on battery with 36% screen usage. I bet this phone can do 7+ hours of pure youtube, watch some youtube test showing around 17% usage per hour youtube.
Ugh. This bites

Can last 2 days with light usage.
This phone shines at light use. A little behind the Honor 8 Pro though.
With light usage I usually ends up with 60% before bed time. I rarely bring it to the next day without charging because I plug the phone to the charger when I got up and I got full charge when I go to work.
Depending on how lite your usage is. You maybe able to get up to 3 days battery life from the Honor 9.
That requires very light usage.

This phone does really well with light usage. You can effortlessly get 2 days of usage out of it.

Standby drain

When you sleep, does your phone sleep, or does it stay up all night and crunch 1s and 0s? Rate this thread to express how you deem the speed at which the OnePlus 6T's battery drains under standby conditions. A higher rating indicates that when the phone is not in use, the battery drains minimally.

10% drop in 8 hours in this video:

Can anyone confirm? Does standby suck?
Sleeps well. I'm 21 hours and at 65% off charger. 2.7 hours screen on time.
Deep sleep cpu speed is 76%
Make sure you don't have things eating your battery with screen off
My standby has been great. Usually 5-8 percent drop in a 5-7 hour window. Way better than my V30; that thing would eat up 15-20% every night.
Mine has been at 3% drop per 7 hours I'm asleep. I don't know if it has anything to do with DND being on but I was also getting the same drop with my P2XL.
I have been noticing this everyday for the past week. And almost every single time I see about 4-5% drain in about 8-9 hours which is pretty good.
This is on WiFi. So if you're on mobile data there might be a slightly higher drain.
Current status: In deep sleep for 86% of screen off time.
I've also noticed 4-5% drain in about 8-9 hours on WiFi and DND. I'm happy.
Only lost 3% overnight, including picking the phone up and using it a few times.
Not on wifi mine went from ~40% to 3% also my alarm didn't go off. Alarm was set at 545 woke up at 630 and when I picked up my phone to check the time that's when the alarm decided to go off. Nice feature ignoring alarms to save battery.
Is it good enough?
My battery stats are messed up. Battery % goes up even when I'm not charging.

How long have you been using your phone and what's the lowest battery percentage you've hit?
Sometimes it helps to let the software recalibrate the battery by charging the phone to 100 and going all the way down to 0 and then charging back to 100.
I generally lose about 1% every 2 hours overnight. About 1% every hour in the day (When wake my phone up every now and then)

Is it one plus 6t bro?......actually last night my screen on time is 8 hr 17min or smthing.......bt not this much like urs .......what features u disabled to save the battery?
Light use on this thing is crazy. And by light use I mean still using it for over 2 hours a day I can still eek out 2 days without charging.
I'm really unhappy with my battery drain. I see about 2% per hour when I set the phone down and sleep.
I have a Gear S3 paired, two sim cards, and email notifications for about 8 email accounts. But other phones I've had would drain 1% or less per hour under the same conditions.

My post was made from the new update. I haven't noticed a difference at all.

That's a lot of drain right there. What other phones drained less with 8 accounts syncing and a paired watch?
Mine also has worsen with the new update, and the fingerprint sensor also got slower than the previous build.

A good 5-6 days with 6+ hrs screen on time with medium power savings turned on, greenify in non root mode , disabling apps I don't use and using always night mode with dark wallpaper and keyboard and dark YouTube.
My use is Web browsing, music, some YouTube ( a max of 3 hrs combined)
More than endurance I am concerned with battery health. I have charged mine for like 3 times uptil now and Samsung phone info app reports battery health as 98 %.
My phone is less than month old.
Hi Guys, I have this phone since 1st july, if I use "lightly" my A70 I can get 4-5 days battery life. SOT 7-8 Hrs. With heavy use 1,5 day max. not bad.
rgds.
