Mi Band 1S Bluetooth problem "Can't communicate with MI1S" on Stock G930F - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

Hey guys,
today I received my Mi Band 1S and wanted to pair it with my G930F, but then this error from above occures. Any ideas what I can do? I restarted bluetooth several times, but it did not work.
Some time ago I also had a problem with pairing a Jambox Mini. I was paired but the Jawbone app said, that there is no Jawbone device conneted.
Any ideas how I can connect my Mi Band to the S7?
Thank you!!

I've never had luck pairing my MiBand to any phone. I typically just do it through the Mi app and it works like a champ. Mine ( Mi Band 1S ) is currently paired to my SM-G930F via the app, doesn't show up under bluetooth devices, but, the app works perfectly, and my band syncs and gets all the notifications perfectly.

its like fitbit, it pairs thru the app

Thanks! Problem solved...

How did you get it solved? Same problem with my S6. Cant pair even thru app.

I have the same problem with Samsung S6. It pairs only thru Mi Fit app
But if you can't pair your MI1s with phone Bluetooth you can't use Smart Lock...

wait for an update for the app

app update?
How can it help?
The problem is we can't pair the MIband as a bluetooth device for it to work with smart unlock.
I think it's some samsung stock-rom issue.
Anyone solved this problem without changing rom?....

I've got the same pb... seems like because of Android 6.
I'm on a Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, and since I got the Marshmallow Rom, I can't pair with the Bluetooth yet!
I tried on a Galaxy A7 (SM-A700F, not rooted!), with Android 5, the pairing is instantly effective. I tried to upgrade through OTA, and since it's now on Marshmallow, the pairing fails. Smartlock is OK and approved... and still no pairing.
But on my Note 2, rooted, and on CM13 (Android 6), the pairing works perfectly.
Don't know where the pb is... Guess it's because of Samsung?!?
Any solutions?
Thanks a lot
V.

**Little up**
Hi all,
The Mi-Fit has got a recent update and still no pairing... damned!

I have note 4 with 6.0.1 stock rom and am facing the same issue. Literally tried every solution over the Internet and am really frustrated now. Can't use my band as a trusted device now, which is important as I hand having to unlock my phone again and again, but for security sake can't do without it:/

I wonder if this is a Samsung problem.

[Q] Galaxy S problem with Parrot bluetooth Kar Kit

Hi,
I have a problem with my Galaxy S with Darky's rom 9.2. My car Renault Scenic Xmod with Parrot bluetooth Car Kit don't work fine with my phone. The other roms (not only original) are perfect. I can't accept that a phone with symbian on board doesn't have problem with my bluetooth car kit and my GS not work .
Anyone can help me???
I have exactly the same problem, with both 9.2 and 9.3 beta
I also have problems with my parrot carkit and my Galaxy S. It looses connection after a minute. I have this problem with multiple custom firmwares. If you find solution I really like to hear it.

Thanks for yours replies. I've not find any solution, i've changed the custom rom and passed from Darky's to MIUI. Fantastic rom but the same problem
Every update and every firmware on board have the same issue, the phone connect to the Parrot bluetooth but the sincronization of the contacts not go fine, and I can't do any phone calls with my car kit. I think that the only solution at this time is to update our phone to the official Gingerbread firmware the next June
I've update bluetooth driver of my car, but the result is the same.... Anyone with the same issue help me please!!! I risk my driving license points

[Q] Help!! Bluetooth Issue

It would help if you provide a bit more info here. Do you have the XT925 or XT926? What's your car?
I own a XT925 - Australian (Telstra) version of the Razr HD. I've been able to connect it successfully to the following devices under the stock 4.1.2 and CM10.2/11:
Macbook Pro
Skoda Bluetooth 9W3 kit
Sony SBH-50 Headset
One thing to note is that the stock 4.1.2 regressed BT functionality - it wasn't sending track information (a bug in A2DP?), this has been fixed in CM10.2/11 and I assume really the fix comes from AOSP 4.3/4.4.
Do note that sometimes your phone may not be compatible with the device you're connecting to (actually, usually it's the other way round to be honest, with the device not implementing BT profiles correctly). In-built car BT is often known to do this. The Skoda BT 9W is luckily a very forgiving module with very little trouble reported by users.
YMMV.
I have BlueConnect in my car. It used to work before with no issues but now it stopped. The bluetooth connects to my phone but no voice or anything. I also have a jawbone ICON HD, the phone wont detect it at all. I feel its a phone issue. I am on stock 4.1.2. Phone is XT926
Any thoughts?

When did it stop working? Was it after a ROM upgrade or just on its own?
Does the Bluetooth setting appear to work at all - i.e. changing visibility, etc?
Have you tried looking at the kernel logs - i.e. with logcat?
Alright so I got it to work. I had to do a full factory reset erasing all data. Now it works.
I don't remember when I stopped working. But I used to think that it was my car bluetooth until I figured that it wasn't the case.
Thanks anyway.

Strange Bluetooth Connectivity Issue

I have a gogroove flexsmart x3 that i use for bluetooth streaming in my car. It originally pairs just fine. Now whats supposed to happen is after the original pairing has been done, it should automatically connect once i start my car again. However on my nexus 5 I have to press the "unpair" button and then resync the two devices again. (as in have my nexus 5 search for my flexsmart x3).
this has happened on stock and every custom rom i've tried so far. this issue doesn't occur on my galaxy s4 or iphone 4s.
If you can help me then thanks!

Disconnection issues?

Ok I just got the watch and had major issues with the first one so I exchanged it.. This one works alot better but it appears it can't keep a connection, it says it connected but some apps stop being able to communicate. Like the phone finder app will show that's it's loading then it just does nothing...

I´ve got the same issue with a Xperia Z1 compact (Android 4.3)
Sometimes it also looses connection and cannot reconnect until rebooted (the watch rebooted!)
Anyone else?
Cheers, Jorge

OK so the issue started when impaired my headset to my phone also, even though that headset isn't on the watch stopped wanting to connect. Just unpaired it and the watch connected again

Hrmm... I'm afraid I'm not going to be much help here except to mention that I am running the SW2 with a Nexus 5 as well and I frequently connect a bluetooth headset at the same time and I haven't run into any bluetooth connection issues so far. I've had the watch for 2-3 months now, I do remember having to update the firmware once when I first got it... perhaps reset the watch and check to see if you have the latest firmware?
I have problems like this too. This watch seems to have interference issues. My bluebuds X constantly disconnect when I'm on a call with my SW2 connected. Worst part is they never make a sound, I just stop hearing my caller, and I eventually check the phone and see they've been dropped to the headset and I've been talking to myself.
Music also disconnects the headphones occasionally, but it's not frequently enough for it to be a big problem. Calls on the other hand disconnect like every 30 seconds.
Update: I no longer blame my SW2 for this issue. They headphones disconnect when the watch is not connected. The phone disconnects from other A2DP devices. I'm blaming my phone now.

Are you running stock ROM and kernel or custom? I am running SlimRom and stock kernel and have no issues keeping the watch connection with a LG Tone+ headset.

Same issue here with a Wiko King (Micromax A110 clone).
Sometime all is ok, sometime no :crying:
For me, disable and enable BT is the workaround.
Fixed

With the Android 4.4 update problem has gone.
Same for me, my watch disconnect ... from my Nexus 5
But the last Android version (of course, it's the Nexus) doesn't solve anything.
I hope a lot has been done with the following SW2 firmware to solve this issue.
My wife was having disconnect issues as well using MIUI rom, then she moved to CM and no more issues

I have the same issue, BT-connection suddenly drops out, mostly after some notifications happen within a short period of time, after which only a reboot of the watch gets it going again. So to me it looks very much like a watch-problem, not like a phone related.
I have same problem.
On phone it looks like connected but on watch is not. When tried to turn off bluetooth my phone reboots itself.
Start to happen after last update, my first tough was sth wrong with my rom. Reinstalled my rom, still same. Finally returned to stock and problem persist.
As it happen after last update it looks is related. Yesterday I got smartwach update but not resolved.
Using with Sony SP.

Just a shot in the dark: are you all using wristn! ?
I replaced this with watchify tnis afternoon and havent had a single disconnect since then.
Might be coincidence, tho.

Bluetooth keyboard doesn't work with Galaxy S7

Hi everyone,
I've been using a bluetooth keyboard (iClever BK03) with my Samsung J5 on Android 7.0 without any problems, but when I switched to the Samsung S7 on Oreo, it doesn't work. It either says it connected and doesn't do anything, or it says it can't connect. I've tried everything in the system itself. Is there a way I can make the phone recognize it?

The keyboard Bluetooth connection standard is 3.0 and the S7 is 4.2. Its often the case that devices are not backward compatible. Check iclever website for a Bluetooth firmware upgrade.
Also worth noting that devices will be moving away from Bluetooth when the new short range WiFi standard is rolled out.
