[Completed] Huawei p8 - Sim card slot stuck - XDA Assist

Hi guys, I put a nanosim into the 2nd sim card slot in my Huawei p8 but it did not recognise the card. I cut the card myself to a nano sim so that may have been the issue. But now I canno't actually get the sim card to eject using my sim ejector. Is there anyway to get it out?
I tried ringing technical support but they just said take it to a phone repair shop so I guess my warranty does not cover it.
Another question is can I put a nano sim into the first slot instead of a micro sd?

It won't actually let me make a thread there. When I try it says make one in the Q'A or non development section but I can;t seem to find them.

Hey again,

[Completed] SGH-T599N No Baseband, Null Imei, Insert Sim No USB Connections

SGH-T599N No Baseband, Null Imei, Insert Sim No USB Connections
Hello, I have a Samsung SGH-T599N
The device usb port is damaged beyond repair. It has stock "Metro Pcs" firmware which I managed to installed via a backup of another SGH-T599N via Custom Recovery. However I I cant seem to find a way to restore to (Baseband/ Modem/radio) for the mobile network to work.
I tried the modem.bin on the first post of this thread via the terminal and it does not work. I do however have access to another SGH T599N I would like to know if there is a way to copy the Baseband and all other necessary components to install on the one without usb connection either via Terminal or Custom Recovery.
So my problem in summary: SGH-T599N with no usb capability to has no baseband, or imei or modem and cannot connect to mobile
has Custom Recovery Installed and is Rooted.
I also have access to a second SGH-T599N
Please Help, is there a way that I can fix this problem.

[Completed] Got in a BIG problem (related to FOTA upgrade) with my Karbonn A52+ .. CONFUSED...

Hello XDA
I tried installing a lollipop rom in it,, but the rom proved corrupt and my phone got stuck in bootloop.. This aint the problem as i got it corrected by flashing new stock rom.
The problem starts here---- I was just exploring the phone and i found the app named "FOTA UPGRADE" . I just opened it and clicked on one of the upgrade options. It started installing or something and was taking time . I got confused and took out the battery to switch it off.. UNFORTUNATELY, now the touch of the phone is not responding. Tried factory reset but still not responding. I cant access the phone as it tells me to choose language to GET STARTED. but i cant touch anything..
Solve this issue asap.. plz experts...

[Completed] Premio P700 tablet/phone needs rooting!

Hi all.
My fiance recently bought me a Premio p700 tablet phone with dual sim support. I was previously using my samsung s2 i9100 which I had rooted and repartitioned the internal memory, my problem now is that I was spoilt for internal memory on my samsung s2 and I cannot deal with these "not enough memory" error messages I am getting on the Premio P700 and I have searched the net high and low for a rooting solution for this phone and it seems to be an impossible task. I guess alll I am asking is, has anyone here on this site managed to successfully root a Premio P700 and how did you do it and what software did you use to do it? Also if anyone knows of any pit files out there that I can repartition my internal memory with that info would also be greatly appreciated. Any help no matter how trivial would be so greatly appreciated I cannot even begin to say. Thanks in advance to anyone who may be able to help me out of this jam . P.S I cannot even find what processor this bloody device is using. The Premio P700 is running android 5.1 (I believe this is for dual sim phones and tablets.
