Hello Everyone! Recently I bought a new Micromax Canvas Xpress 2 (E313) from flipkart.
The device is running on the stock android 5.1 and the phone is not rooted. Before actually buying the phone I had checked out the reviews of this phone and found out that it was the best I can get in this budget. Now all of the reviewers were reviewing the phone at the time when this phone had 4.4..2 android version on it and their review showed the presence of GYRO SENSOR in the phone. Looking at the great specs and the gyro sensor I bought the phone. But now on android 5.1 the gyro and gravity sensors are not getting detected. Has anyone else experienced this problem???? I am not able to use my google cardboard with it! Can someone help me fix this issue?

my gyro used to work fine on kitkat but after uodating to lollipop having the same problem.i tried replacing /system/lib/hw/sensor.mtk6582.so file from stock kitkat rom but it didnt work .It will be great if someone gives the fix.tried getting back to kitkat but it just bricked my phone

This was a step taken by Micromax i dont know why........but they removed the support for gyro sensor on Lollipop for Xpress 2.......however if u check CPU-Z on kitkat...it will be detected............
The only method possible to get it back is to revert back to Kitkat.....which is not at all a difficult job....if u r ready to lose your current apps however u can take a good backup with the backup app in lollipop Xpress 2.........if required I can provide u the steps of the procedure.......it will be a lot better in kitkat if u require a lot of sensors.

Is there any way to activate magnetic sensors in canvas 2 plus a110q because during benchmark it shows that this canvas 2 plus has magnetics sensors but they are not working or they must have been disabled.

The kernel has the sensor drivers.. i think i saw this in init..... But the hardware doesn't have the sensor anyways.
No you can't turn that sensor on because it doesn't exist.
Same mirage in a110 too.

i have 1 more question is 64 gb sd card supported bcoz i have found that many people have tried 64gb and it was supported by the device and as you know that in specs it shows 32gb expandable.

No. The A110q Canvas 2+ doesn't have 64gb support.
There are no Micromax phones with above 32gb card support....
Actually there would only be a point in having 64gb card if it were class 6 or above...
However, there have been rumours have a new Canvas HD pro (A120) which is rumoured to have 64gb support.

hi , i saw your answer and i want to ask , my device have magnitc sensor for sure , after porting a rom to it the device recognize the sensor(akm8963 3axis magnetic sensor) but it does not give any reading how to fix it , i tried replacing every file with name *sensor* form stock to ported not working, what do u think

i think you should ask it on the 4.4 Ascend P6 beta thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2630935, and btw that's kitkat rom still on beta. maybe it still have some bug that causing your problem

Mobile market or mobegeine is the solution. But u need to install market Google apk from the dining appmarket . device is perfect but no support for english
I need stock Rom for Pioneer p81 mtk 8382 device.
Which roms are compatible with Pioneer p81. I found cube u27gt but not sure.
So, I have flashed many ROMs on this phone. As most of them worked , some of them had problem where when I entered the camera or flashlight my phone would restart. And now I really want to know what is the problem as it became pretty annoying. Allview A5 Duo is the romanian equivalent of the Gionne P2 and Walton Primo F2 , as I saw from my searches. And some of the ROMs which have the camera bug on my phone on those phone works. So if someone could help me It would be awesome. ( and sorry if I didn't post this where I should have, I am a begginer here ^^).
