Slideshow from Selected Photos - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

Hi folks,
Hopefully someone can help out with this issue. It's probably incredibly simple!
When I am in an album in gallery, I can tap "more" in the top right hand corner and select slideshow. This creates a slideshow for the whole album - no problems there.
However, when I selected a few photos and go to "more" , the slideshow option disappears. I've had the Galaxy S2-S5 previously and never had this problem. Surely this feature hasn't been removed?
Any help would be welcome

look for S2V,its just like the iphone. one little tip 4 ya, next time try using the search button. this program has been around for a while and been talked about a bunch of times.usually when questions like this get asked noone answers cause it is so simple and all you gotta do is search.
edit: the stock album from htc is pretty good imo, its just like S2V.

HTC Album 3.2 does all that and it's fast as heck.
It's too big to attach but here's a link:

Resco Photo Manager is the beast of photo editing/viewing/management - does everything & is super fast - free trial but it does cost after that ...
when combined with the resco file explorer you get thumbnails everywhere so you don't even need to fire up the photo app

Hi,
I think most of them in, Xnview Pocket, you may even crop/resize/apply some effects / batch renaming and even acces iptc/exif info !
Best it's free and working under wm6.5

yeah i really like XnView

[Q] Gallery, how can you organize the pics from new to oldest?

When you first open the sense gallery app, you see album folders with a thumbnail on top. For me this is always the oldest pic or vid. It would be much better if it always showed the newest. Also when you open a folder the items are listed from oldest (at the top) to newest (at the bottom).
Both of these just seem backwards to me. Is there a way to change it so that the album thumbnail shows the last pic taken and when opening the album you start with the newest pics at the top?
I really hope someone figures this out.

[Q] Issues with contacts not showing pics

First off am running StarDroid 3.2.1 I don't think it's rom related but user related
I have added pictures of 2 people. They do show up in the phone when I edit the contact. They also show up online when I hover over the contacts name. However they won't show up in the people app or the phone dialer when I scroll to them.I get those grey silhouettes. I do however have one picture visible in there as that contact is linked to a google+ account and that person has picture in there profile.
I do have to say searched the forum for this and came up with this path /data/data/com.android.providers.contacts/files it does have the thumbnails for the pictures of the google+ people but not of the non google+ people. The pics that are in my gallery are the ones not showing up.
Am I do something wrong? I thought by editing the contact and adding a picture it would show up in the people app and in the dialer. I haven't tested any other functionality of have a picture added to a contact
Also want to add that the pics that I used from the gallery do show up in the people widget when added to a home screem.
Well after google searching and looking on other forums I finally found my answer
"Go to the Linked icon (upper right corner), then press the menu button. It will give you the option to select contact photo. Click it and it will show the photo options."
I then selected the photo cropped it to what I wanted and I was good to go.

clipboard in S Note not showing

Peeps,
I was using S Note for jotting down things but when I wanted to add an image via insert image>Clipboard it appears to me that the menu does not pop up. Unlike maps, videos, images and any other menu, the Clipboard menu is the only one not showing on my S Note.
I checked the gallery and found that the album entitled Capture_Edited, the one suppose to be the Clipboard image insert in S Note, is there, but its not function-able.
Any solutions? I would appreciate any clue.

"More Images" is missing when trying to select wallpaper

Running a new, rooted Verizon Galaxy S5 G900VVRU2BPB1
I have some image files on my SD card I wanted to use as wallpaper. I searched all over the place the only instructions I see are to open Settings>Wallpaper and then select "Other Images" on the bottom left of the bar. My problem is that I have no "Other Images" button. The far left button/box says From Gallery and then it's a bunch of stock wallpaper selections in the bar. If I choose From Gallery I only see the photos I've taken with my phone with no way to browse to another location. The only two options are a sort and Cancel.
I have some custom launchers I'm playing around with but is there a way, with my phone and build, to set external (from the gallery) images as wallpaper?
Thank you!
