WHAT IS THIS?
One Caller is an app that gives you the possibility to call any phone number in the world using Internet Wifi or Mobile Data.
WHY SHOULD I USE IT?
Now a days we have our family or friends all over the world. Calling their cell phone number or home phone might get a bit expensive. That's why One Caller provides a flat cheap rate to get minutes and talk to your loved ones.
It's also perfect to prank a friend, make a private call, or talk about something secret on the phone.

The app is designed to show as "Unknown" caller with no number or caller ID on the screen of the receiver. The calls are charged by minute and are extremely cheap!
EXACTLY HOW PRIVATE IS THE CALL?
The call is rerouted and is completely untraceable!
HOW TO USE?
Simply open the app, enter the phone number directly USING THE COUNTRY CODE, press the green call icon on the bottom left and you are dialing!

Thank you for the typo error, fixing it right away
The difference of this caller is that it's a flat rate fee to call any country, any number. No hustle finding cheap callers because this is the cheapest of them all.
The system is secure and untraceable too.

Thanks for the support and interest in this project. We are currently working on the mobile phone's service and making it better. Also, we are adding the contacts picker, too.
Ok, so its a flat fee, but what is that fee? Is it a flat fee per minute or per month? How do we pay for it? I do not see any website where I can check this up.

Okay so I finally got an invite to GV thanks to someone over at PPCGeeks. I setup my GV to use my current mobile number and went to the market and got the app as well.
Now what about SMS'? How do I send a gv sms from my phone?

i just downloaded it cause i just setup my GV like i said. market gave me version 0.3.0. doesn't have update available.
edit: what version do you have? could you upload your apk somewhere for me?
Do you have a sms compose option in google voice from a web browser? You may have voicemail only setup.

You can still make a number, just log onto google voice from your computer, click on the phone number at the top right of the screen, then you should see an option to make a google number next to your google voicemail number

Mine is.
When I turn on my hero, it shows me the message. I don't know the reason.
I have a question about GV on my plan.
I am using the Everthing Data, any mobile any time family plan. Which means it will be free, if I receive or place a call to mobile number. So somebody calls me my GV number with their cellphone, will it use my air time? or it will count as any mobile any time. Thanks in advance.
Why is the dialer in WP7 showing letters while it is not using them like on HTC sense. Normally you type some numbers like 0617 and you get all the contacts with those number in their phone number so you are able to select the correct one. Or you can use 2(abc) and you get all the contacts whose name starts with a A B or C.

Two answers.
1. WP7 doesn't have smart dialer.
2. It shows letters for numbers like 1-800-flowers
I hope you understand.
One more reason, why i don´t understand the hype on WP7 - i´m happy to have a good running 6.5, especially after testing the HD7.

But landline phones dont have microchips inside and dont connect to wifi and send emails.. Why are you even comparing smart-phones with landline?

Read the post above urs. The reason why the numbers are there is quite obvious. Lots of companies here have numbers with words for advertising purposes.
So ill repeat myself. The letters are there for the same reason they're on a landline phone.

In the Netherlands we don't use 1-800-flowers. Landline phones in the Netherlands have letters because you can also sms with landline phones and add contacts.
But the dialer is useless unless you know someone's number completely.
I hope MS will add this to their list for updates because I don't want to go the people hub every time and search the contact I want to call.
The messaging app has smart dialing/messaging so why not the dialer app.

at this moment, only 3rd dialer apps support such features. I'm using "Smart Dial" by Jerry Huang, have a search in the market

Why don't you just use contacts instead of the dialer itself? There you can find your contacts by either using the jumplist, or - what's most close to any smartdialer - using the search button and then type as you would in your dialer.

Although I'm a seasoned Android user, I've only just in the last week taken my first foray into app development. My first app is a very simple concept and promotes a service I've been running for almost ten years now: Simply Dial, (market link: market://details?id=com.stunshot.android.SimplyDial.
Simply Dial is an instant dial service that allows you to make cheap international calls from the UK to destinations worldwide, starting at just 1p/min. There is no need to open an account, give any credit card details or get yet another bill through your door. All you need is a phone, the relevant instant dial access number and someone to call.
To use the app, choose your destination from the drop-down menu. You will be shown an access number and the per minute rate you will be charged. Although I've added an option to dial the number directly from your phone, please bear in mind that all rates shown are what you would pay if you called from a BT Residential landline on 20/04/2012 and include VAT. Individual call rates are subject to change at any time. Rates for calls made from mobiles and other service providers are likely to be considerably higher, so I highly recommend using the app to find the access number you need and then dial it from a landline. That said, I believe some networks include certain 08- numbers in their price plans - please check with your provider.
When you dial the appropriate access number for your destination, you will hear a prompt. At any time after this, dial your international number in full, including 00. Your call will be connected and the only charge you will see on your bill will be the call to the Simply Dial access number.

Thanks very much Yes, I agree it could do with a bit more polish. I also thought about maybe having a "Save to Favourites" option to give quick access to the user's most used destinations.

I don't know what updated today, but now I can't do anything without this dialogue popping up. If I click "Decline", it will just popup again within seconds no matter which app I'm in. It'll pop up when I'm doing anything, but if I wanted to force it to pop up to show you, all I would have to do is take a picture, and it will pop up either while I'm trying to take it, or just after. This made me think it was the camera, but I can be in iHeartRadio and it will pop up.
I know it's Samsung specific because it mentions "Samsung" in the Terms and Conditions, but it doesn't mention that app or service it pertains to. It is the worst ever, and I don't want to Accept it just to make it go away.
Any ideas on a solution?

Thanks. I even searched here for both threads and posts with "enhanced features" and nothing came up. I didn't search the Edge section, though.
For those that don't go to that link, this is the solution they give:
All you have to do is check the box agreeing to the terms and conditions, and then tap the agree button. Yes, this means you’ve just opted into the service. Then, however, you can open the Contacts app and tap on your own profile, which will appear at the top of the list.
Now, simply tap on Profile sharing and slide the toggle to off and you’ll disable the new enhanced features.

The only problem is, I followed the directions, and after trying to turn Profile Sharing off, I got a spinning circle that finally ended with Profile Sharing back on. If this happened within my 14day BestBuy return period, I'd be heading in to exchange this for an iPhone 6+. This is not good, Samsung.

Per Android Police there is a work around for the issue.
The popup is for the "Enhanced Features" component that includes Simple Sharing. This feature lets you push large files and profile information to your contacts.
