Calibrate System after REPLACING Battery (yep another Q) - Asus Transformer TF700

I'm running Zombi-POP 5.1.1, and just replaced the battery in one of my T700's. It's been idling for 24hrs now and still claims 100%. 2 Days ago it did the same thing and after a few minutes of browsing, it dropped to 85% so I charged, now it seems stuck on 100% (wouldn't that be just grand!).
I plugged it in and the power/charging light is green. Just don't believe it. I've deleted the batterystats file, but what, should I just run it down to shutdown and recharge?
Thanks for any input.
************** update ****************
It's now been up for 49 hours - still at 100%.

[Q] Battery Stuck On 97%

For the past day the battery on the tablet seems to be stuck at 97%. If I plug the charger into it while in standby its says 'charged' but when I unlock it and check the battery percentage it says 97%.
I got the keyboard dock about 2 days ago and when the keyboard and tablet were paired the battery status would just be charging (lightning). Now it's just stuck on the same number. I had some notifications this morning for a firmware upgrade (tablet and keyboard) so I installed those but theirs been no change.
Any idea's ?
If it's any consolation mine's stuck at 96%. I'm guessing it needs to discharge fully and then be charged to calibrate.
yeah..agree this is probably just a calibration issue...it's ok..
Infinite Battery FTW.
Don't know if this is related. But I noticed that until my battery level goes down to 95%, it won't charge back to 100%, when it reads 96% and above even if its plugged in.
Considering how easy it is to boom a Lithium Ion battery I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to be conservative with it. 4% of 16 (potential) hours of use isn't too earth shattering. It does tweak the OCD though!
You would rather have your battery sit at 96% instead of it not being able to take a charge after 8 months..

[Q] RAZR HD Maxx EB40 voltage ranges

What voltage ranges do you guys get for 100% and 1%?
I bought a new EB40 for a friend's phone and am getting some weird effects. I've previously done the EB40 in Atrix HD in my own phone and it's been fine, but I haven't actually let it run down below 50% yet.
Full Story:
At first the phone wouldn't turn on, but the LED would turn on when I plugged it into the charger. I left it on the charger for 10 minutes and then it would turn on to the battery charging screen, reporting 1% battery left.
I then made it boot into the OS. After a couple minutes charging, it jumped to 100%. I left it on for an hour, then disconnected it, and then it was slowly going down like normal. However, after it hit 85% or so, it just suddenly died.
Then I had to charge it and it was back to 1% and the same thing repeated.
I tried clearing battery stats (/data/system/batterystats.bin) but it seemed similar. Now I'm trying to run the battery till it dies, it's been at 1% for quite a while. Then I'll charge it back to 100%, but is it possible I got a dud?
We ran it down to 1% again, it died, and and it went back up to 100% again. I'm figuring once I get down to the real 1% and dies, when I turn it on it won't be at 100% like every other time. Then perhaps it will charge all the way up to the real 100%.
So far it's been like this voltage wise:
3.966V: 3%
...
3.725V: 1%
died
3.696V: 100%
...
3.663V: 1%
died
3.661V: 100%

i believe when these batterys are fully charged it should be around 4.300 so if the most your getting up to is 3.700 there is probably something wrong

Battery/Phone Shutting Down

Recently had to replace battery.
Phone was shutting almost immediately after it was disconnected from charger. Charging status when not switched on showed the battery kinda going in reverse. Phone was really odd as it would suggest the battery had 100% charge and then within minutes of disconnecting it was shutting down.
I tried a factory reset/refresh with no change. So I ordered a Genuine replacement battery off flea bay and installed that last Thursday.
Initially phone seemed ok, then wen a bit weird and shut down even though charge was like at 70% or so. Wouldn't restart until plugged in and then in shutdown mode the battery/charging indicator would show 0% and then very quickly showed 70%. Good bit though was it was going up and not down like before.
Fully charged phone overnight. It then seemed really good and lasted until Tuesday with 66% charge still showing. I had not installed FB or Twitter which made a huge difference. Then yesterday it just shutdown again. When plugged in showed 0%, within minutes back to 70% and then charged to 100% in the space of an hour or so.
So I am looking for any advice. Is this just calibration issues that the phone needs to get past. Is it possible the phone has corruption int he ROM.
I appreciate it might be a hardware fault but seems weird that the replacement battery is clearly showing a big improvement suggesting battery was EOL after 2 years use.
TIA

Same problem here i will try to install the oficial rom of xt890 if works i back here if not i don't know what to do
Sooo............issue is still present. Odd thing which I am unable to confirm, due to rnadomness of shutdowns, it that I think it is slowly learning the state of the battery as it originally was shutting down at 70% after 2-3 days on standby. then 66% hen 56%. I did a clear cache partition and a fresh install but still the issue was present.
Clearly the new battery is lasting longer than the old one, just the phone does not seem to know to reduce the charge indicator all the way to 0%.
Anyone any idea why this might be happening.
TIA
G
Just to add i'm having the same problem.
Symptoms started last week running the stock kitkat rom so i ordered and a fitted a new battery. Initially everything looked good phone said 100% left it over night and noticed it had shut off when i came back to it. Plugged it in to the charger and it said 0% so i charged back to 100%, booted up android and almost immediately it begins discharging rapidly, i would say within 15 minutes its back down to 0%.. I've done this a few times now even left it on charge overnight for 8 hours but its still discharging rapidly everytime. The craziest thing is even if it says 0% in android i can still boot in to recovery and flash away so clearly there is charge in the battery its just android thats out of sync.
What i've tried so far:
Different wall chargers/USB leads/Outlets
Wiped everything in TWRP and flashed CM11
Factory Reset several times
Various battery calibration apps
My next step is going to be trying RSD to flash the stock ROM but beyond that i dont know what to do.
I'm experiencing EXACTLY THE SAME ISSUE with my Razr i, replaced the battery and it's still discharging very fast
Eventually managed to resolve my new battery issue simply by fully charging and discharging several times. It started to hold charge after the 7th charge and after several more discharges it's now up to full capacity.

Pixel on Android 10 doesn't fully charge when off

So I've noticed that the phone doesn't charge above approximately 73% when fully turned off. I'm using the standard Google charger for the phone. It also charges normally when the phone is turned on. See screenshot...
My refurbished Pixel also does not show only around 65% charge after being plugged in for the whole night.
But then when I use it, it sort of freezes at a specific battery percentage, so it is on for example 30% for two hours, before it goes further down. See the attached picture.
So at least in my case, the phone is fully charged when turned off and plugged in, but somehow the percentage count of the phone does not recognize it. Maybe it's more or less the same in your case?
I too am having battery issues since updating to the latest October Android 10. I have bootloader unlocked and rooted with latest magisk Canary build.
I can charge to 100% but it then tends to stick at a certain% for a while and then the battery dies at 15-20%. I've tried battery calibration but it doesn't seem to help
I've had a dose of the same lately, had a couple of days where my charge has reached 42% for the entire day? Still charges fine but from a 100% charge I will lose at least 13% - 16% charge in a few hours on idle with nothing showing as draining heavy in battery manager. If I run it down to 18% or less and try and use the camera it will shutdown and if I can get it to reboot it's on 1%. I've come to the conclusion its the battery (could be wrong) purely as it's acting exactly the same way as my nexus 6p did when it's battery started to fail.

Battery Just Dropped from 75% to 32%. In About Half an Hour.

According to the battery usage screen, about 15% of the battery has been used. And yet, it's in freefall. At 34% I got a low battery warning saying the battery would only last another three hours, even though it was dropping about 1% a minute.
Just randomly happened today. Left it unplugged overnight with Sleep as Android running, woke up to about 70% battery, started browsing on Chrome and Talon for Twitter, and 15 minutes later I had 20% battery. Plugged it in, got it back up to 75%, had to go out. Felt it get hot, checked, saw it was still dropping dramatically. Turned it off, left it to cool, turned it back on, and it continued dropping.
I had it turned off for a while to cool down after I'd plugged it in, as well.
Battery Usage does list Sleep as using 22% battery, but that's since the last full charge so I assume includes what it did overnight, which jives with having a percentage in the 70s when I awoke. Talon, Chrome, Facebook, TiBu, and a couple of other apps are listed as using 1-2% of the battery. That's it.
WTF is going on?

I think the battery might need to be replaced...after I charged my phone to 100% and then reboot, it will show 69% or 70% after the reboot -_-|. Also when the battery % drops down below 50%, my phone could switch off anytime - and then when I switch it on again, the battery is like 1%. I am using this phone as a backup just to receive messages so I don't mind it too much. If you use it as a main phone maybe it is time to upgrade to a newer model...the battery on regular Pixels were not so good even when new...
When the phone is off charge it to 100% then use it until it dies completly, then try to start it couple of times(it should just show a battery low icon or turn off while booting). Then charge it to 100% again while turned off.
This should pretty much reset the electronics in the phone. If it still does it replace the battery.
P.S.: Also look at the phone from the sides to see if you notice any glass poping (just in case the battery has started to expand)
