It is possible to flash an europe version? When yes, could you please post a link?

Double Tap to wake I think, but not sure some people here talk about thinks that they are missing on the 701 Version that I have on my 703 Version.
I have unlocked my Bootloader and flashed GAPPS so I dont have the problem to sync my Google Contacts.
But some people wrote here you can download these APPS from the Huawei App Market too...

i have the double tap in my int. 701L, its only one file
Any other features the chinese 703L can more ?
Ahhh, i forget, call recording, no problem i copy the huawei dialer from my chinese P8 to my int. P8 Max, it works perfect.
Any other features from the chinese 703 ?

There is no official Update for 701.You can unlock the Bootloader and flash the China Firmware from 703 or the international 702 Firmware.

Does anybody know the market shear between 701, 702 and 703 models? I am wondering what are the reasons of being no updates for 701. Maybe it's becaus it only represens a few percent of the X2 market?

I agree. It's definitely needed a dedicated tutorial for 701L on how to convert to 703L.

This seriously sucks for what is otherwise a fabulous device.
Certainly puts me off Huawei for my next phone.
Save a maximum of personnal data and settings (with for example : huawei backup app, helium backup, titanium backup...).
Then flash directly on your 701L this official international rom designed for 702L:

It will install, and your device will be on android 6, and designed for international users.
Please note that it is recommanded to unlock your bootloader before flashing anything. In order to unbrick your device if something goes wrong.

Just want to check if anyone had my below issue when buying phone from china to save few quits
1) Phone comes with all preload chinese apps (which most of the can be ignore once google play has been installed)
2) I've cannot register to Huawei ID from the phone (even after had login details when registered through web)
error message
"Service not supported for your Location. We apologise for the inconvenience."
I am trying to register phone from UK.
troubleshots done (from search engine)
1) Installed tunnelbear and tried registering no luck.
2)created new account from huaweis chinese website still no luck.
Any help much appericated, also can i install UK rom on this phone?

If that's the case I suppose it won't work. I picked up this phone (from China) and got rid of almost all of the apps that were installed by default. I can't see a reason I would want a Huawei ID....

Created Account thorough PC -> went to setting from from the phone ->
1st register HiCloud (Dont give details on Huwaei ID)
It worked for me and i am now In and had 5Gb free cloud space to store my contacts and some useful files.

The best way would be waiting for HUAWEI to release a stock Englist ROM and flash that...
All the chinese variants comes with preloaded chinese apps, I think you should be able to uninstall them easily from Settings > Apps. I never really tried a chinese ROM, so don't know if they are uninstallable, but most of us gets bloats in our /cust partition, from which we can uninstall them.

Some of the default apps can be uninstalled, but I am hoping that at some point there is an English version of the rom for FRD-AL10 released.

Yes, maybe, if some dev makes it.
I get the same Huawei ID location error on Europe Honor 7. I don't think its anything to do with the rom being Chinese.

There is a EU rom here for FRD-L09.
Try it on your own risk.
I know that it was possible to flash Chinese Mate 8 with EU rom, maby possible with Honor 8 to?

Thanks for this. I downloaded it, but I will wait to hear if someone else has flashed it on a FRD-AL10 first! Right now the phone is too new and I don't want to risk bricking it.
EU ROMs works on EU variants only, don't try it on Chinese variant, unless you debrand it.

Hello guys I have a question I have an honor 6x in the version BLN TL10 Its a Chinese version (obviously) but I dont like the Chinese roms, my question is there any way to change to a global version from a Chinese version? What is the difference between an AL10 rom and a TL10?
the other side of the problem with the chinese rom is that has a lot of bugs the biggest problem is about the notifications im not reciving them(Not getting from whatsapp , messenger , instagram etc, i have tried everything and nothing it only works when i open the apps i get the notifications)
when i had emui 4 they worked now with emui 5 they dont

Debranding wihout flashing oeminfo and custom.bin of global model can stuck your device at NRD90M-test-keys.
Dead notification is not a bug actually, its rather characteristic of chinese rom.
After set a few settings, you may get push notifications.
1. device manager-permission - allow all permission of the app you want to get notification.
2. settings-app-settigs icon (lower left)-specific access ? (i translated my korean language to english...maybe differ in native english)-ignore battery optimization-add the app you want to get notification
3. device manager-screen lock (or off) optimization-protect the app you want to get notification
4. devace manager-autostart -set the app you want to get notification as autostart after bootup
5. turn off all of emui power saving mods like... power usage notification turn off power intensive apps....
kirin 655 is essentially power efficient chip so this silly settings does no good.

BLN-21 is for EU regions. for China its Al10 or TL10.

Do you have the bootloader unlock code? Of yes you can change it.
Are you on Nougat or oreo?

You can do this to enable dual sim on single sim devices but has two slots. It is also used to remove chinese characters with chinese ROMs.

I've done quite a bit of research into this. It's not a simple process as for example Xiaomi.
It will involve resizing the system partition among other partitions.

Hi, I have the RMX2075 (UK) and there is an update on the UK site for RMX2076EU, would this work if I installed it.
File manager detects that it is an update package. For reference it's the 17/6/2020 RMX2076EU_11_A.22
Currently on RMX2075_11_A.20

No sorry, this was a tangent regarding the RMX2075 (UK) getting the RMX2076EU update which was posted on the UK site.
Probably they just named it wrong. Sorry, I don't have the RMX2017 (CN) (but isn't it 2071 lol).
Just as an interest, what's wrong with the CN version?

As per my first analysis, RM2071 (CN) did not bring the majority of the languages (in my case, I need PT), just CN, EN and other two or three asian languages. It does not have Google Play store although it is possible to install it separatedly.
Finally there are many CN apps that comes together and when using EN, some untranslated texts in CN are still appearing in many screens.

Google maps Timeline can not be enabled on RMX2071(CN) version.
Disappointed with Chinese Rom
I also own a RMX2071 version.
To be honest I'm disappointed as my expectations with this phone were too high.
Here are my remarks:
Breeno is only in Chinese and you cannot download EU voices,
Global search is only retrieving Chinese news,
Impossible to fully replace Breeno with Google Assistant (shortcut will still launch Breeno instead of GA, GA will not produce notification sound when activated...)
Some software and some rare options are not translated in my language (I set the FR language and still Chinese texte)
Security check is done for all app you are downloading from Google store (which leads sometimes to Play Store crash)
Google Chrome is freezing from time to time
I need to switch mobile data off and on to get back internet (specially after leaving the phone locked for a while).
I need to switch mobile data off and on right after a call or I'll not be able to get Internet...

Before selling this phone I'll try to remove all those Chinese stuff.... I found this on the Realme X2 forum. Both phones share the same os.

I did and it has worked well!
I was also at the point of selling this phone, but am very happy with it now, would struggle to tell it was a Chinese Rom. Google assistant etc working fine.
