[Completed] Flashing the su binary using the stock recovery - XDA Assist

Hi, i would like to know wether i can push the su binary into the system partition using the stock recovery ..
here's is my file:
"CF-Auto-Root-coreprimeve3g-coreprimeve3gxx-smg361h.tar.md5"
i turn into a zip package and put it on the root of my sdcard (update.zip) and when flashing begins it says signature verification failed and gives some wrong footer error ...
I think i should sign it with the project "sign'em.bat" but does anyone have the signed su binary .zip to root my galaxy using the stock recovery?
or ... can i just know how to root my phone without pc /odin?
Device model: Samsung Galaxy core prime SM-g361h running on android 5.1.1

Pushed wrong files with Odin -> bricked?

Hello all,
I just followed this tutorial on my p3110: http://www.verygoodreview.com/tips/how-to-root-samsung-galaxy-tab-2-7-0-p3100.html
The tab was brand new before that and I never rooted or installed ROM manually.
The automatic updates were done to Androdi 4.1
Than mean that I put my tab in download mode and used Heimdall to push these 2 files:
gt-p3110.pit
boot-bjr.img
Everything went fine, no error message and the tab rebooted.
But it is now stuck on Samsung Galaxy Tab logo.
As the tutorial is for Android 4.0.3, I justrealised that my tab was already updated in 4.1.
Is there a way to fix that?
Oh God, no need to touch the kernel for rooting! You use incompatible kernel for 4.1.1, the graphics subsystem fail to start. Theres 2 way to fix it:
1. The easiest way: flash P3100 JB 4.1.1 or 4.1.2 firmware, you can download it from sammobile.com
2. Hard way: go to a thread in development section: "Single step..." , flash the latest uploaded file for P3100 using ODIN and then go to KK-Boot thread, flash the latest kkboot kernel for 4.1.1 using CWM recovery. Beware, kkboot is an overclocked kernel!
The big problem is that CWM recovery isn't installed yet, and the device isn't rooted, so I cannot flash ROM.
I am trying with samfirware ROM, but the zip file (700mb???) cannot be flashed: Heimdall tells me "The header contains an invalid size file"
I installed CWM!
Now, the problem is that it sounds impossible to copy a zip into memory
failed to copy 'cm-10.1-20130116-NIGHTLY-p3110.zip' to '/sdcard/': Is a directory
[email protected]:~/Documents/sdk/platform-tools$ ./adb push cm-10.1-20130116-NIGHTLY-p3110.zip /sdcard/update.zip
failed to copy 'cm-10.1-20130116-NIGHTLY-p3110.zip' to '/sdcard/update.zip': No such file or directory
installed CM with adb sideload!
Bootlooping...
I am going closer and closer..
EDIT/ FIXED!
Hope this thread can help other people

Does your TWRP has SELinux Enabled? Since TWRP has a Disabled and a Enabled version.

When opening terminal in TWRP (v2.6.3.3) I get "Full SELinux support is present", but I have no idea how to check its status, or change it?
The solution for me was to install CWM instead of TWRP, in which I found that the "system" and data folders were not mounted. I did, and after that I flashed my rom successfully. I didn't make any changes to SELinux settings.

Hello, and welcome to XDA. One idea would be to download it and flash it manually instead of using an app. You will find plenty of support for doing this here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538053. Scroll down to "CWM / TWRP / MobileODIN installable ZIP: http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu" and then you can download and flash. But the best thing is to read the whole original post so you have a better idea of what you're doing and where to look for help.
Good luck!
