I rooted my Huawei Y6 SCL-U31 using kingroot and installed SoftKeyZ Root to change the Navigation bar. Unfortunately, I forgot to read that it required busybox to work and I accidentally applied the theme which resulted in a reboot and my navigation bar and notification bar missing. Also my volume keys are not working. I tried many times by wiping cache, doing factory reset and re installing SoftKey Z Root and this time with the busybox but still no good. Any idea on how to revive the device?

Hi, Thanks for using XDA assist.
It looks like there is no dedicated forum for your device, however
There is a general forum for android here http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help where you can try to ask to get expert's help.
Good luck

PROBLEM:
I recently got a brand new Nexus 6 running stock ROM, Android 5.0.1. I rooted my phone a while ago, and I installed this application called SoftKeyZ. This application allows you to change the soft key icons on a device that supports on screen soft keys (the home button, the back button, and the recent apps button). None of the custom soft keys worked for my Nexus 6 so I selected a button titles "Backup". That was supposed to restore all the normal soft key files on my phone so they were normal. That did NOT work. The phone is now completely unusable! The notification drawer has disappeared along with all three soft keys!!! So I have no acccess to notifications, or any of the on screen buttons.
WHAT I TRIED:
I tried booting into safe mode, and uninstalling the SoftKeyZ application. Note: the soft keys and the notification bar were even nonexistent while in safe mode. So, I then reluctantly attempted to fix the problem by factory reseting my device. THIS DIDN'T WORK EITHER!! So now I have a phone that has no dada on it, it has no notification bar, has no soft keys, and IS COMPLETELY UNUSABLE!!!!!!!
MY THANKS:
Thank you for reading my post. I hope that you can help me fix my problem because I will be pretty screwed if I cant use my phone due to the fact that I use it to make personal calls, texts, and such. Thank you very much

Got the same problem!
And for some reason I can't find/replace the systemui.apk. Do I need the framework-res.apk as well?
Can't really flash the stock firmware either because I have no access to my Nexus
Help us please!

Download the stock ROM for your phone, then extract the system.img partition where your can find the systemui.apk and settings.apk. Sideload these files to your phone using a custom recovery or using ADB. Now boot up the phone and see if it works.
If that doesn't work, just flash the stock ROM again. No other go I guess
if anyone can help solve this I will declare them a genius.
asus memo pad 8 me180a
tried to root via kingo and ended up losing the soft keys and notification bar.
decided to do a factory restore....wiped cache too....but the newly restored software has no keys or notification bar either.
my knowledge is poor on android so I turn to here....thanks in advance for any replies

Tapped from my furious dogo
Hi everyone,
I apologize if there will be any language error but I'm Italian so I'll do my best
I recently rooted my Nexus 5, kept stock rom (Lollipop 5.1.1), installed CWM recovery and flashed custom kernel (ElementalX), evenrything worked fine for a few days with everything (recovery, kernel, xposed and root apps)
Today I found and tried to use "SoftKeyZ root" app to use custom softkeys, but after rebooting the device my status bar and navigation bar disappeared. I looked across the net for possible solutions but none worked, tired to restore last nandroid backup with CWM but the problem was still there, tried my last chanche which was to wipe chache/Dalvik/data from CWM but the two bars still aren't there.
Any ideas?
EDIT: I forgot to mention that the screen also doesn't lock (if i push the power button it goes black, if I push it again it shows the last screen) and there is no wallpaper, just black
Hello all,
I have installed the 324 lollipop rom with no problems. then I installed the TWRP 2.8.7.0 without problem and flashed superSU.
Everything worked fine. But then I installed xposed (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811).
after that, I completely lost my notification bar and my tray at the bottom with the home button... All I can see now, is my app-drawer and my apps. No back button as well. What could have happened? And how can I possibly restore this? I've tried to factory reset, but that did nothing. Can anyone help me?
PS: it seems volume buttons do not do anything either. Will check if I can install B324 again once it downloads...
Flash back the Xposed Disabler Zip and everything shall be restored.
Should have waited for this....I reflashed the entire ROM. Worked, but still...
Does xposed work for our mate 7 on lollipop?
