Create your own app | iBuildApp

Hi everyone. In this short thread I just want to show you how to create your own app. Continue this steps:
*It's really easy.
1. Register in www.iBuildApp.com.
2. Select the device you want for (Android and iPhone).
3. Customize your app.
4. Enjoy the app.

Creating your own app with iBuildApp takes only a few minutes and absolutely FREE. · Events (Publish your events: date, title, and description. descriptions can be as long as you want and include hyperlinked URLs.)
· News (Post news stories from the CMS, or automatically from your RSS feed. All pictures are pulled in and links open an in-app browser.)
· Audio Stream (Provide live audio stream from your website. Play music or other sound content within your app.
Supported audio formats: mp3, mp3 streaming servers (shoutcast, icecast), playlists (pls, M3U, xspf), AAC and AAC+.)
· Video Stream (Displays videos you provide as a list with titles and text descriptions; videos play within the app when selected by a user.

· e-Commerce (Sell products directly through your app!

well.. i guess its completely free. except that i found that there was an iBuildApp icon alone on the bottom of the app when i created mine.
but anyways its simple and its awesome!

Tried it, has some really nice features over the official app. Here's some thoughts on it.
- need to be able to login to your account
- continue playback even when screen is off would be nice
- no exit button to kill the app
- design could be better?

This would be a very useful addition but unfortunately:
It is against the Google YouTube developers terms and conditions.
The new Google YouTube Android Player that I am using automatically stops if it put in the background or covered up by anything.
There are lots of apps that do work in the background and it is a very useful feature so I don't know why they prevent this.

Just press the home button to exit, I put the app totally to sleep when you press the home button.

Please let us rearrange/reorder/sort favorited videos and subscriptions.
What's Google's policies on not allowing alternative YouTube clients to have a login feature? Google bans TubeMate from Play store because the third-party app logins users to their YouTube accounts and stays login, (but I got TubeMate from Amazon AppSore.). On the other hand, Google permits PVSTAR+, which logs in to user accounts to fetch existing playlists but then does not stay log in, (i.e., it logs out immediately after getting the playlists.) Maybe your app can do the same and login to accounts to just fetch existing favorites, playlists, and subscriptions.
Better yet, just have two versions of your app: (1) the Google Play version, which does not have the login feature, and another version that has the login feature. (2) another version that will be on Amazon or elsewhere but NOT Google Play. This version will let users stay login to their YouTube accounts. The Play version will let users know that, if they want to login to YouTube, they should get the Plus/Premium/Pro version from outside Play store at Amazon or elsewhere. That's a way to circumvent Goggle's unfair self-serving terms and conditions.

I am preparing a new version with improved designs and use of colour. The colours are used to indicate what info you are looking at, green for search results, red for the currently playing video and blue for a video which is not currently playing. I hope you find the colours useful when you get use to them.

Sorry there is no login to your account available, but it very quick to add your favourite videos and channels.

There is a way to change the order (but it is not ideal). Choose and press a favourite video and then unfavorite and then favourite the same video again. That video has now moved to the top of the list.
Thanks for the feed back and suggestions including adding a way of changing the sort order.

No, Android Geek work also in offline mode , so you can read article content without internet connection, althougt you will need to be online the watch videos , apps review ...

Glad to hear it . If you want to open the link and read the article from your browser , you just need to click on the menu button of your device, then choose " copy the link " , so you can paste it on your browser

lot of you guys had send me postive feedbacks about the app , i really appriciate
some of you ask me how to avoid Auto-Sync , because the majority of you want the manual Synchronization their android news feeds
to do that, you just have to open Android Geek , go to the settings (on the tools section ) ; then choose "Synchronization" ,
and uncheck " automatic background sync "

Thank you for your great feedback! I am thinking about more customize the UI. The side bar from the left side is only available from the main screen, so it would be too hard to get it in details screen.
I am just developing following features:

Why no rotten tomatoes ratings? One of the biggest movie review sites. Also each movie should have few options to link to websites offering title for sale/rental. Also what would be cool if for upcoming movies, get a notification that movie is out in theaters.

Links to websites are IMDb, TMDb, Trakt, Simkl, Amazon, Google Play Store. That's all that I can link at the moment.

Hi el_easy, thank you for using Moviebase. Unfortunately, IMDb offers no options to sign in and export movies I am sorry for that.
The best way is to use TMDb, Trakt or Simkl for saving movies and tv shows.
