LG G3 LS990 stuck in twrp loop. I was on a MM Stock based custom rom and ran the LG ATT (All Auto Test) from the phone hidden menu on my device to fix my proximity sensor. But now my phone is booting up to lg logo and then again going to the twrp recovery. I wiped everything and flashed a new system but still its coming back again and again to TWRP. Please help me as i have already tried a lot of things and i am really demotivated now as doing flashing and stuff on all my devices since on android 2.1, this is the first time i am really worried to loose my data and maybe brick my phone altogether. I shall be very grateful.

Hey guys.
I'm new in the Android world and bought an LG G2 back in november.
I had originally intended to custom install cyanogenmod or KitKat 4.4 to replace stock rom, but I couldn't find a way to install a custom recovery, and was only able to root my device via Kingo Android Root.
A while later I saw an update that popped up, and not knowing any better I clicked install. It was about 114MB. That was about 3 days ago, and my LG G2 has been stuck in a bootloop ever since.
When I try to turn it on the LG logo shows up, then it says "secure booting error"and "Cause: boot certification verify" on the top left corner of the screen in white text.
I tried doing a hard reset, but that didn't work. I don't have a custom recovery so that I can clear the cache and data or something. So pretty much I have a bootlooped phone with no custom recovery, I can't do a hard reset, and it's Sprint and everything's new so it's harder to find a fix.
Does anyone here know of a way I can fix this? It would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
I have a Verizon LG G2 and I was running CM11 but wanted to install 10.2 instead but when I went to install it it didn't progress and froze so I restarted the phone (I know, I'm stupid. I wasn't thinking) so now it has no software installed. If I try to boot it all I get is the LG screen, I can get into trwp but only when I do a factory reset then it boots to twrp after the reset. When I try to get into download mode it goes to the software update screen but never moves from 0% so I cant use that.. Am I just completely screwed? Because I have no way to download a rom to the phone to install. Any help would be great! Thanks.
Hi guys,
I just got my G flex 2 today and well... I bricked it.
TLDR;
I messed up my build prop and now my phone is stuck on boot screen.
I've had a few androids over the years and I anyways find that the lcd density needs a little tweaking.
The G flex 2 was no exception.
I thought I'd kill 2 birds with 1 stone and allow all apps to be used in split screen and change my Lcd density.
After a reboot most of my apps didn't work so I restored my build prop backup and rebooted again.
Now my phone is just stuck on the boot screen.
I've tried a factory reset but it's made no difference.
Has anyone else experienced this and can help?
Try to flash a factory image via lg flash tool.
There is a post with some kdz. This may help you
I did try that last night but got nowhere with it.
I was half asleep though so I'll try again today and hope for the best.
Did you select the wipe option?
It will format the data before flashing everything.
I dont know what more you can do :S
I just took it back to the shop today and told them it never worked in the first place.
I don't like that I had to lie but, I couldn't face having a bricked phone for however long until we can flash custom recoveries/roms.
I'll be waiting for more developers to pitch in before messing around with this phone again.

It seems, based on my past experiences with custom roms, that you flashed an incompatible rom to your phone, causing the loop.
The room might say it successfully installed in recovery but more often then not the rom itself is to blame.
Try a different rom and if you are able to boot your phone from it, there's your answer.
Good luck!

thnx, but however it automatically rebooted into the ROM but the other problems i am facing are that some google apps like facebook messenger and google hangouts stops responding randomly and in settings of audio/volume when i try to change ringtone it stops responding it is irritating me...
Just wanting some advice (if any) to a white line issue I'm having with this tablet. I bought this tablet with Lollipop 5.0.1 already installed. I managed to get it downgraded, rooted, and currently have TWRP installed as well as CM12.1 nightly. The problem I have is that as soon as I install ANY custom recovery (TWRP or CWM recovery) it boots normally at first giving me the LG logo. Then, instead of getting the AT&T logo (or the CM custom boot animation), it gives me a series of white lines spamming from top to bottom of the screen. I know for a fact it has to be software related as when I return to stock KK everything boots fine, giving me the LG logo followed by the AT&T logo. I did NOT use the ADB method. Instead I downgraded using the LG Flash Tool, and a test KDZ file, which allowed me to install Flashify, then TWRP. My problem ONLY begins once I install ANY custom recovery. This process did not unlock my bootloader, however. Could this be my culprit, or would it be something else? Any help is greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance for any help/tips. More information is completely available upon request.
P.S. The white lines eventually disappear when the screen goes to sleep on it's own. I can then press the power button to wake the device which gives me the lock screen as normal. I just want to know if I can get the boot animation working. Everything else works fine.
